In most of the Schengen country we are called a ‘third world’ at immigration and always looked with a doubt. You dont have to travel these countries to get beyond your personal experience but just have a look at the queue at the US embassy in Delhi, and the way one is treated, you would have had your data. \n\nAnd now, in this video you say that a similar Immigration officer is denying visa to Indians. \n\nWhat changed in 8months?

Behavior, culture and hygiene, I have some indian people working with me as software engineers in Germany, idk why they smell so bad, in a meeting i always sit far away from them, dont get wrong but teach your people to behave and be hygienic

Most of the Indians use fake documents to get US visa and they are in reputed companies after their Masters, but still not caught. Those who are being caught are very less in numbers compared to the fraudulently obtained. Behaviour of Indians is much worst.

Last but not the least, be a good citizena and don't do anything which may spoil your countries' image.

Give the break down by reason for rejection. That's the real story. This story is more about Indians believing they are entitled because of the size of our economy. Palli, do some basic research, call educated indians in Canada/US/AUS to get their feedback. There are too many Indians everywhere you go in the world, too many still trying to get out of India. Working in Canada at a fast food restaurant gives someone from India (Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow....) a better standard of living than a middle class living in India. States like UP, Bihar, MP, Rajasthan... still living in 18th century. Gujjus were the first to got out and then Punjabis and then everyone, they damaged the reputation of Indians a lot.

India has to be careful not to get caught in its echo chambers. Large number of illegals in west are of Indian origin especially US and Canada. If legal immigration should have any chance, India has to crack down on the illegals. Once they get deported investigation is necessary to break the backbone of these human trafficking gangs!

There are enough Indians all over Europe, Americas and Australia. Many of them specially in the USA and Canada are illegal in high numbers. In Canada and USA, Indians have ruined their own reputation by getting involved into fraud activities, breaking laws of the host countries by bringing people from India and making them work illegally. So, naturally, the rejection rates are much higher for tourist visa and not for business visas as such. The solution is India should build infrastructure inside the country so that people don't need to rush abroad for a better life. I am an Indian, we were planning to go to Europe for a holiday. But the sheer number of documents they asked made me think otherwise. Now don’t get me wrong. I did my masters in France and I speak a few European languages, but this new trend of asking for my the million documents doesn’t go well with me. We cancelled our tickets. We will travel somewhere else.

I can't seem to recall, but recently an eminent news personality gave a speech at Oxford about how the Indian passport was happily being waved around at the British airports. You remember on covid inoculation certicate our country had Modis picture instead of the certificate holder. Every traveller was ridiculed. Canada recently stated that there were 20000 Indians on student visa who did not show up at college, London from 8/1/25 even if you are in transit going somewhere else you need a visa which is difficult to get Germany and America are in the process of deporting thousands of Indians .
