I went to Seneca College and was classmates with a number of Indian students. The things some of them had to go through to get there was astonishing. I'm not surprised by this report at all.

I work for an Canadian Indian trucking company in Texas and I have to say Indians are some of the most racist people I've ever met. I have been living in Germany for 6 years and I never felt I could settle. Now that I have a German partner and I’m reconsidering things, but even with that it doesn’t feel like home. What most people here say is totally true: absurd bureaucracy, bad weather, angry people everywhere. Germany is not a country for everybody. You should know very well what you want to get out of the country before considering coming here.

I've lived here 6 years and can't wait to leave. Salaries are just enough to get by. I work full-time as an analyst and am looking for a minijob just to save money, which I already live quite modestly. It's easy to come across nasty unfriendly people, neighbors, service people, people in government agencies. I hate people staring in the most unfriendly manner or givng attitude for no reason other than they are nasty people. Don't get me wrong, there are nice people as well, but the bad experiences outweigh the good. Beauracracy is overbearing, personalities are underwhelming, the food scene is underwhelming, learning German is a big burden when you work a full-time job (and now I need a minijob too??). The country seems like it wants to diminish the human spirit and ambition. I definitely regret moving here. Many housing companies are over charging rent. I found out the company, Deutschewohnen, who owns my apartment was overcharging me by nearly double!! I had to go through a year long court procession to get them to lower it to the legal price which I won. And now they sent me a letter last month saying they are raising my rent, which is illegal and I have to go through ANOTHER court battle with them. Of course it is exhausting to try and find another apartment. Some people search up to a year. What a joke. And not to mention the dating scene. I've been single the entire 6 years and I'm quite an outgoing, friendly, loveable person. Dating Germans comes with own weird experiences and I refuse to give them a chance anymore, for my own mental health. If you're POC, it's not uncommon to come across strange sexualizations and general lack of understanding other's cultures. A couple years ago I was attacked by 8 men while walking home at night. I ended up in the hosopital and there was an investigation opened. The police asked me why they attacted me, which I didn't know since it was unprovoked. They just followed me for awhile, surrounded me and started beating me. The police said it was probably because I'm Asian. Meanwhile, I'm not even Asian!!! I'm Latino. ??‍♂This is the type of ignorance POC have to deal with in Germany. Also, I only have 1 German friend and all my other friends are immigrants (which I love) but this poses it's own frustrations because many people move here, then move away after a few years when they learn they can have a more fulfilling life elsewhere. So keeping long term day-to-day friends can be a challenge. The entire system is exhausting and there's not enough balance to bring joy to my life to want to stay. When I lived in NYC, an African American aquaintance had just moved there after living in Berlin for 8 years. She warned me not to move here because I will never feel I belong. I didn't listen. That was a big mistake. Germans can have Germany. I'll find my joy elsewhere. End of rant. haha

A Ukrainian immigrant here. Absolutely in love with beautiful canadian nature, cute little houses, especially townhouses in toronto, just so wholesome. As for life, you gotta be some sort of specialist like a doctor, or a proper construction worker, or a truck driver to have a decent life that goes beyond just getting by and eking out an existence. On my own i can make enough money for food and rent, but thats about it, and im happy about it, really, i get to be alive thanks to canada, but i really hope i could move out of here as soon as it becomes safe, or just move to a cheaper country thats a decent distance away from russia. I ended up being unemployed and i do feel like im in quite a real danger on eventually becoming homeless if i dont manage to procure a job, and you know how the job market is now. As for health care, i simply dont have access to it, at least i dont have a family doctor and have been trying for a while to get one. I haven't tried walking ins yet since i prioritize food over health now but i might someday. I just hope that whatever sickness bugs me is minor, i cant do anything about it. My teeth hurt too, but i cant afford a dentist, and ive found one Clinique in toronto that helps immigrants fix their teeth for cheap, they can help you with three teeth in total, and i've used up one of it, and saving the rest for real emergencies. I cant eat anything except for real soft food, and i know im not gonna get any help i could afford any time soon.\nOnce i get a job i will be saving as much money as i can to leave Canada, i don't know where yet but i'm doing my research and hopefully will find a place, and if not well, sucks to suck. It's hard for everybody out there, i'm just one of the millions if not billions who go through that.\n\nAlso I don’t think ‘nobody wants to live in Canada’ is entirely accurate. It seems that the idea of canada, and the way its marketed, attracts a lot of new immigrants, and a lot of people would love a chance to live in Canada. It's simply not true. But after the fact , once they have , i could believe that some are not willing to stay and might regret the decision of moving in the first place.

My background is El Salvador so im kinda dark. So was going ok. Then i tell that cock sucker that was training me. That I'm salvi but Canadian born. That's mistake 1 talking my fault. Indian's are making $4-5m every year in Canada and each of them are sending $5000 to india every month. Ieagle or illegally they are sending the money. I moved to the town of Brampton in 1968. It was a small village consisting of mainly canadian/British people. I have family that live in Brampton now that have been to college in the medical field. They cannot even get a job because they don't speak Hindi. That IS racism! I now live in a beach town in Ontario and I'm seeing the same thing happen. Indians are taking all the jobs, buying the businesses to cater to their own kind. When you go to the beach now, it is 85% Indians. Canada's government has failed, because our leader has sold the country to India.

I was born in Vancouver, lived in Canada all my life, never had a good paying job but worked hard just to get a little over $500/month in CPP.. I'm a senior now and I can't afford to live in Canada. I've been travelling since I retired in 2023 and mostly housesitting internationally so that keeps my housing costs down which is a big part of living expenses.

Just so people understand how we live.. I'm a disabled person who lost my leg working for the government and was put on a pension that gives me 19k a year.. my rent is 18k a year.. an asylum. Seeker or immigrant receives 62k per year I have one asylum Seekers living with me. And dosent work and makes more them my that works full time even though I can't walk and he get to drive around in a new car and send money home to take care of his family back home n sends money back to get more family members here to get more money

Guys for everyone watching this, its only Punjab & Haryana protesting here because they are desperate for a Canadian PR or Canadian Asylum....most of India isn't even here. I agree with Justin as I am a Canadian citizen and have been looking for a job for months now and can't get anything even places that say they are hiring and I'm well qualified for the positions and I can't get nothing cause immigrants are getting everything cause they will work for less then minimum wage so companies are hiring them over us Canadian citizen that are qualified this is not right they need to go cause I am only I Canadian out of thousands looking for work and can't get any this is unfair to Canadian citizens

Hi… I totally agree with just about everything you stated in all aspects of the Indian community. I’m a Canadian who happens to be living in Brampton for the past 12 years. I’ve watched Brampton go from a beautiful community to a dark dreaded place to live , and this is truly because of Indian behaviours. Mind you I have many genuinely good intelligent respectful Indian friends, but there’s the others that thinks they owe the city, province, and country. They don’t respect no one, and I mean no one. NOT EVEN THEIR OWN KIND (Indians/ Punjab). And yes as a Canadian citizen whenever I see something I do call them out on it. However; the moment you say something to them they assume that you’re cursing at them and what was ment to be a respectful comment becomes a situation where they want to argue and even get into a physical fight. Then there’s the bad, careless driving on the streets with no regards to the next person’s life. They drive like their car is the only one on the street yet always looking for someone to race with not to mention the illegal U-TURN creating major accidents. I personally experienced this when a Tractor Trailer Driver tried making a U-TURN on the city street with only 4 lanes for both direction at 4AM in the morning. This caused me to almost ran under the trailer body which would have been the end of my life. They butt into lines and interrupts as much as business conversations thinking their concerns are way more important than anyone else’s and That’s just to name a few things.\nNow on the other hand I do have VERY GOOD RESPECTFUL INDIAN FRIENDS who I will never let go of our friendship because of their genuine respectful relationship although even those close friends are now pulling themselves away from their own country people and all because of the others behaviour.\nThirdly; YES, the Canadian government invites foreign students into the country with improper sources to monitor and direct a governing body to monitor and process the activities of foreign students .\n\nI love your honesty in your stories back your video clips as proof of your country men behaviour. Charity starts at home before you start bringing in all these foreign workers why don't you fix what's broken in your backyard like the homelessness here ,it's not the poor people here that are starting the problems it's the foreigners I've experienced it as an elderly person I can't even get a crappy job at Tim Hortons because those are all outsourced to foreign workers. How about this one I'm dual citizen Polish and Canadian long time loong time :) and I have polish passport that's needed and Canadian Polish one I just pay few bucks and I get it no signatures of acquaintances like in Canada. This year I'm not getting Candian renewed cause I have Polish Passport that let's me just like Canadian passport with a bit differnet rules as of EU it's much more and allows. if I don't have Candian passport but I fly in on Polish and I'm a Citizen of Canada as well, do I really need Candian Passport to fly into Canada and stay as long as I want yes I can but is it really needed well will I have problems or just a few minutes when I land in Van or Toronto or Edmonton or Calgary. should I need one. No I don't since I am a citizen of Canada and its in Candian computer all info at the border. will they place me in jail at the border caus ei a citizen of Canada with out Candian Passport flying in on Polish which allows travelling as for vacation 6 months in Canada. let me know Canada officials. I'm not an Indian but I'm a immigrant in Canada and yes it's true everything that you say but I just want to give one respectful advice to my friend from India. Please use deodorant and at least once a day take a shower because in the bus or at work is very hard for us from other countries and I know is not your fault but we all have to adapt in a country we arrive hope no one gets offended by this but remember that we share the air and we cannot avoid smelling other people. Canada is one of the worst countries in the world, if not THE absolute worst for men. The intimidation game is beyond brutal, that's what you get with melting pot madness. And of course if you have all that intimidation, the result is mental torture. Maybe that's why you don't like it. It took me quite a while to figure it out. I've spent most of the last 12 years (I'm 44) in Ukraine.

The house next door to me is a small 1960 2 bedroom 1 bathroom . There is at least 20 punjabs living there. The place stinks garbage everywhere. Cars are coming and going. No one speaks english and why are they wearing a big knife. Those are illegal in Canada. I want them kicked out of Canada now. I know Canadians who are pissed off and it's going to get ugly from what I'm hearing.
