Something trump supporters and everyone needs to understand is that there is NO application to just apply and come here legally! That’s why her family has been here for 20 something years. Only people that can “apply” are asylum seekers. Anyone from any other country there is no such application. There would only be an “application” is there was an immigration reform that would allow people that want to come or have been here to apply. There has not been immigration reform/amnesty in decades. \n\nI urge everyone to YouTube or go on the uscis website and find this so called application. The only way is either 1. You were born somewhere else and your parents are citizens 2. Enlist in US military 4. Marriage with a us citizen. So it’s not as easy as just applying, if it was there wouldn’t be so much illegal immigration. \n\nNo excusing or saying it’s okay to come illegally, just saying the reason people do it that way is because there hasn’t been and there currently is no process to do it legally.

So people are literally saying that if you are a nationalized citizen, but you obtain that status legally or if you are a legal permanent resident that you are still going to be deported because you weren’t born in this country. Can someone shed light on that situation is that true because that doesn’t make any sense to me?

The reality is that while he wasn't in office, he used the House as his own personal veto to block any substantial legislature from passing under Biden/Harris, so it makes them look incompetent. First Trump's administration is going to be jacked up with little known outliers with controversial and radical ideas. That is what Trump is attracted to. His ideas of tariffs and mass deportations are deplorable. They both disadvantage the US instead making it better. However, the tariffs may as well be a scam to get companies profits as when Trump says 10% on item A, companies are going to raise the cost of item A 12 to 15% or so and blame the cost increase on tariffs. For deportation's, I hope most people realize that many working the fields as low wage labor are very well illegals, but they are hired because they keep food costs low. Raising all prices for the poor Republicans will not be beneficial because prices on goods can increase 15% or more but their employer is certainly not going give them a 15% raise to match the cost of living. So Trump has already made the business environment good for more profits by planning to make life more expensive for everyone so business can absorb the additional profits. Probusiness politicians help businesses make money and that money comes from households and the government. And making the government spend more means the government needs to tax more. But TRump is cutting taxes for the people that have the most money. And Trump raising prices with tariffs justs makes households poorer and business richer. Naturally, the stock market will record highs when all the indicators are that business will be making much greater profits from households when Trump takes office.

My great grandfather moved to Toronto in 1890. He was a stone carver and did the stone work on the old bank buildings downtown. My grandfather was a clerk for the railway. My Dad was born in 1933 and grew up at Pape and Danforth. At the time, it was the edge of the city. Undocumented workers paid 96 billion dollars into Social Security and Medicare through the INT. They are not eligible to collect from those programs but there work help sustains them. They do work Americans do not want to do. Hotels hire them, farmers hire them, meat packing plants hire them, construction companies hire them. Removing them will be a disaster. Another topic that most Americans are clueless about. Well, here's some info that I'm sure you don't know. My ex-husband was from Central Ameri, a and I've known hindreds of people who have come here illegally throughout the years and NEVER until this past year have I known of anyone being deported without a court date first. Well, an ex family memeber of mine got caught at the border twice (once in 2023 and once in 2024) and was deported twice with NO COURT DATE! So, whatever people THINK is going on, they're wrong. You will get damp, then wet, over time. Then your fancy clothing doesn't do much for you anymore. Ya dig?\n\nOh but wait, there's more. So we have this wildlife eh', and it likes to do this thing that wild life does... and it eats you. Coyotes are one such kind of wildlife. Bears are another. Both are prolific in certain areas, all the way down to the border in some cases. \n\nGranted, coyotes usually aren't a huge problem for us up here, but that's cause we know how to deal with them usually. Bears are another issue, that even we have problems with at times. You'll probably run into a black bear if you run into one. Grizzlies tend to be further north and to the west. You're gone too far somehow if you find Polar bears. \n\nThere are other critters to mention, but they're more active in the summer, like rattle snakes. (Yes, we have them)\n\nOkay, so you got past the border, and you actually somehow managed to survive the winter temps in your trek to some sort of civilization. Now you have to somehow find a place to live. This is of course assuming you decided to try to bypass all our border security of course. You could go to an embassy and declare asylum I guess. But right now, you're more likely to be given a ticket back to where you came from initially. So that's not something in the game plan for you. What then?\n\nWelcome to being homeless. Oh, and you're still having to deal with our winter temperatures. \n\nSuffice to say, right now is not a good time to be trying to ignore our laws just to do whatever you want.
