canadian military will take transgender military members. Our military pays for the surgery, gives free counselors. There are a lot of conservatives in the canadian military, including my husband, and he works with a lot of transgender people and no one cares. IF someone wants to transition no one cares, if someone wants to be they/them no one cares. They lives their lives and get the job done. Here in California I have met many wonderful Indian nationals; however, many assist and support the concept of illegally immigrating to the US. I was in the Navy 1976-1996. I came in when women were looked down on by sailors. They had their reasons, but things changed in the 80s. Women served on ships, filled most rates, flew planes, captained commands on shore and at sea (surface and sub). There were issues with gays, and now there's this. I have always thought that as long as one can do the job and not discredit the Navy, have at it and I'm glad to serve with you. USN / USNR E-8 retired
