Am a kenyan Canadian and living in canada is the best decision I have ever taken. Lot of kenyan are paying agencies to come to canada through visit permit. People should blame agencies who promise them jobs not canada government . When you come to canada through visit permit you need to change to work permit or study permit. Actually there are thousands of kenyan who have come through visit permit and they are claiming refugee status. Canadian Government is doing its part by giving all claimed refugees shelter and give the money for upkeep. When you have visit permit you can't work in canada but you can convert it to work permit which is not easy but an expensive process. You need to get a company that can process you lMIA that labour market Impact assessment . You need skills to get a company to apply you Lmia or uende China ya maji you pay Indians who have companies in kenya $30-$40 to apply for you lmia. Or you can convert your visit permit to study permit and universities here are damn expensive. Getting a Canadian to marry you for status is very hard. In short am trying to say if you do not come through work permit or landed immigrants life wil be tough use the money you are paying agencies to start something in your country. In my opinion,California and Texas belong to the Indian; they claim it back, simply solution unite the two countries, give them a passport or a visa so they can visit when ever they want. If they want to visit or work, let them pay to cross. Paid for visa,passport, hotel and food. We do it when we visit other countries. There's so many negatives to Canada's system and its obvious Canada's insane increase in immigration is only lowering wages, increasing housing prices, importing ethnic tensions and propping up minimum wage jobs. Canada's TFW and foreign student programs don't follow our scoring system. And they're complete scams. Indians come here to study at DeVry college at a strip mall while working full time at Tim Hortons living 6 people to an apartment and they eventually get permanent residency. Canada has a rapidly declining quality of living.

I work in tech and need to mention the negatives of H1B even though having tons of highly skilled workers would be nice for country.\n\nThe first issue is that H1B workers are happy with accepting lower pay for relevant position so long as they get opportunity to get a company sponsor. This causes a downward pressure on wages obviously.\n\nSecond is they are also VERY obedient Caste like stuff going on between Indians or absolute silence from East Asians on anything that needs to change. This causes management expectations from workers to be skewed against citizen workers.\n\nThird, they are only here short time to earn as much as possible, even some I know shared a 1 bedroom between 2 people just to hoard as much as they make cause when they go back to their country it means they are rich. So they work 24/7 and causing company expectations to be unrealistic for citizen workers.

Racism happens to a lot of races here in Canada and around the world and I think will always be the case. My mom came from the Philippines and worked two jobs back to back for 17 years and was bullied so badly by East Indians because they ran her work place but she had to stay strong and deal with that among other things while growing up but is still grateful to Canada until this day. My ex girlfriend of many years was Congolese but grew up in Kenya and yes I felt racism on her part when we were together and it was frustrating and sad but again it came from all races not just white people. She is still grateful for Canada and always stayed strong and didn’t let these idiotic attitudes tear her down. Hopefully things will change in the world but the state it is in right now doesn’t seem to be the case.

A broken Country, bank system is a joke, health care is the most broken system of any G 20 countries, education system is totally woke and ineffective, spoiled and about 2.5 years behind any comparable system. My family moved to a suburb of Atlanta 15 years ago from LaSalle, QC. I am happy to be away from the language politics and snow, but the living areas here are so segregated. They call the US a melting pot, but from my perspective the individual parts aren't blending together. I was so used to seeing Italian, African, Irish, Indian, Caribbean, Native, Asian, Middle Eastern, you name it peoples everyday at work, shopping and at the gym. Based on where I live, I really only see African Americans. The funny thing is, if I travel just a few miles in a specific direction, the demographics change dramatically.

And there is one important fact that you missed in this documentary. It is Indian(racial) people taking advantage of these young India people like us not Canadians! The same immigrants who immigrated to Canada from India couple years ago are taking advantages of new people coming now. These private colleges are run by India nationals to make profit from recruiting people from Punjab. And India landlords taking advantages of new international India students and it is Indian (racial) employers who is taking advantage of international students to do more work!

Many people especially from states of Gujarat , Punjab , Andra Pradesh are desperate to move out of country because of social economic issues. The story did not end here, the Indians who are already in Canada are exploiting these poor students by increasing rent, forcing them to work illegally at a low wages. If Canadian authority do not look into these issues , there will be a situation where law and order will be out of control.

Things have changed a lot in 6 year. In my very south Canadian city, just about 100% are Muslim or east-indian working here. Inside info reveals it is because refugees will work for no benefits. So many people born here no matter the race are unable to find work since the Pandemic (which is on going but not as severe, at least in the minds of most people anymore).

The same thing happens to poor people in America. We're sold a big lie can't afford housing while in college and good luck finding a job while in school that will pay you much because you can't start work til after 3 or 5 on due to classes. This isn't about being Indian this is about being poor.

Study abroad is mainly for rich people if you guys can’t afford it don’t come so you don’t have to work double double shifts .\nDo yourself and Canada a favour .\n\nAnd even now coming to Canada is more about status symbol and flex for you guys rather then good education and experience And we can already see that from this year all the fightings and stupid,dumb stuff Indian panjabi students are doing.

The problem with Indian people is that despite their hard work and dreams for good, their energies are misdirected without concerns that there are laws, rules and expectations in other countries that are different then theirs. For Canada, what is hesitation to talk straight about approving student visa, where applicant don’t afford to pay for travel, full time education and living expenses at all without simultaneously working, where no appropriate jobs are possible or available at all.

One more thing must be mentioned: how international students are exploited by Indian community who came here 20..30 years back itself, these people torture students while living in basements, rented rooms in their houses.\nSecondly, these people hire students at work (mostly factories, warehouses and Indian restaurants) and pay them half the minimum wage, exploiting and stressing them.

I work in a restaurant in Texas and Indians are the rudest people I have ever dealt with. Period.

I hope you don't underestimate Europe's existing problems when i went to London 4 years ago i was shocked that it wasnt the place i imagined it to be no need to explain im sure you understand what i mean. Im an Asian immigrant, but i wasnt expecting that i couldnt even see a caucasian in London mostly arabs, blacks, indians, some asians i do not hate it but im just confused i worked in the middle east for 10 yrs and i was hearing arabic speaking everywhere, also asian language its like im in Vancouver or Surrey area. Boss, i stay in India and life here too is now as complicated as it is in the West, if not more! In today's urban India most of them don't know who their neighbours are/ don't interact with them for years together. Even amongst the neighbours, they keep in touch with each other via mobile phone (predominantly WhatsApp). Children avoid staying with parents and relatives at ALL costs to an extent where they even leave their natives/ immigrate abroad to achieve the objective. Work pressures at the Indian private sector is probably the highest in the world where most employees don't even have time to breathe let alone interact! Btw for those who argue that the Western society is highly depressed and immoral blah blah blah, lemme give you a reality check- India is almost about to become the dubious capital of depression of the world, divorces in Indian society is SO high that it's way too common now to see people who've been divorced/ married second or third time, people fighting marital disputes in courts for years and years and in most cases paying off the girls family hefty and mouth watering out of court settlements to achieve peace of mind......the list is endless......so where does an ordinary 21st century Indian achieve peace of mind and a peaceful life with a quality lifestyle to boot? It's obviously the Americas and Europe (mostly). It may seem ironic to some old timers, but it's the harsh realities of the world today.

That’s why they are rich, they only do work and don’t care who’s living in neighbouring and do they have any problems or not.\nWe Indian are not rich but we help and support each other, we have joined families with lot of members. Oh this is how every Indian official gov workers behaves, at least 90% of them. While we don't know the full version here, I'll share mine.\nI've waited for hour outside the entrance door along with others where we don't have waiting chairs so had to sit on steps where people pass by even though we all came at the right time that was written on our papers. Then I had to wait about 3 more hours for my appointment chance and then they checked my docs and decided that I don't have two particular doc which isn't even that important these days, but he didn't say that at once, we got first doc and then he said I need another doc. so I had to wait for 3 more hours to get mine as (we had to go to school and get that doc) while all other people like those grandparents, job applicants and farmers got their passports and visas. *sighing*\nI still remember the attitude of that officer, It's like he was just there and I was just waiting his time, and he was just reminding me that his work time was about to be done and that he needs to go. \nI don't understand how the gov offices works, we have tons of population and of course tons of applications that needs to be done for work, yet the gov office working hours just 6-6.5 hours? And they work at sloth speed as well. Software workers have it way hard *taking deep breaths*\nNo use in ranting about how it works in our country

Local Brampton Mayors and Ontario gov never tried to put/invite some universities, hospitals and white collar jobs in Brampton, due to that Brampton became mostly bedroom community and all mix people started leaving city by seeing huge influx of South Asian population. Most people in Brampton are either truck driver, construction worker or labourer working in warehouse, while North-West part of Brampton is mostly young IT people working in Downtown or Mississuaga. I personally don’t know a single person who works in Brampton. But, still every Indian wants to live in Brampton just because of food & brown community. Now Brampton will become more brown and brown every year, just because there is no reason for other community to come and live in Brampton, no white collar jobs, not many hospitals or colleges or universty which can bring mix crowd. Brampton will be 100% south asian in next 10 years as most 50%+ new immigrants to Canada are from South Asia and every year 450000 new immigrants comes to Canada!

In India Talented people from IIT, IIM, NIT, AIIMS are getting almost 2 lakh per month as a Fresher. If you don't have any talent then only you are not paid well. Then cost of living in Canada ia almost 3 times that of India. You earn more and you spend more. Then most of people who now migrate from India to Canada spend almost 25 lakh in Canadian universities to migrate their. In 25 lakh you can start a new business and can earn well in India itself.\nYes foreign dream is good but it is only good if you are directly getting a job as a Engineer in USA, UK after graduation from Indian University. A lot of my friends come to me whenever they need some extra cash because i always have something saved up,, my black friends never payed me back,, all my other friends did... so i stopped letting my black friends borrow money... im mexican, my people love getting drunk and typically take their job less seriously than others,, also we tend to be really loud and obnoxious.. ive worked with alot of indian people, and most of them never showered... stereotypes exist for a reason, but until you are proven to fall into these stereotypes you shouldn't be judged by them because there definitely are exceptions.

I think what ever they provide is good , but as an Indian we are greedy people even I am also part of it..we always want to earn money anywhere, than talk about struggle and many things..it is not compulsory to do part time job..focus on full study only...but you want to study as well as earning money..so definitely in any part of world you have to do this type of struggle...I am sorry but I think you are here for taking sympathy of people and making your subscription ... what ever...best of luck..study good and get good job...
