All Indian drivers need to go thru a mandatory driving test, I have noticed lack of English and knowledge of Canadian laws make them dangerous drivers in Canada. They are very risky driver, they behave like driving in India not in Canada.

My parents are Pakistani ?? and my ancestors (I think my grandparents too) are Indian ??. As a MUSLIM TRUCK DRIVER born and raised in Canada ??, I’ll say this inshaa Allah . Racism has no place in Islam. However, stereotype is permitted in Islam. I’ve had my AZ license for 7.5 years. Believe, you, me, almost every safety class I took, whether it was with small trucking companies or big ones like Canada Cartage, I saw the male Indian students taking the class in a non-serious manner. They didn’t act like they cared. They were simply sitting there, cracking jokes, screwing around, saying stuff like \n\n“Who cares about this safety class? Just get the load, drop it off and that’s it.”\n\nBut when they get into accidents, they’re sitting their with their jaws dropped and pants down\n\nAnd I’m. It saying this driver took safety as a joke\nBut I know my Pakistanis and Indians just like I know my Canadians - they just don’t take safety seriously cuz safety isn’t really taken seriously in India and Pakistan

I'm not being racist but many drivers from India are driving like crazy in Canada and totally ignoring their safety and the safety of others. When I was driving in Surrey, British Columbia, I saw several drivers who are totally ignoring traffic rules and when I saw their faces, I'm sure they are from India. Those Indians who grew up in Canada and learned their driving skills here are very different from those who learned their driving skills in Indian. That's a FACT!

Especially people from India, they are everywhere. The thing is, Indians also brought unfair practice to Canada. When a local store got taken over by Indians, they tend to only hire fellow Indians and leave nothing for Canadians. If an Indian got promoted into HR in a company, that person will most likely to hire Indians only. There are so many unfortunate examples around us. We need to do something! Canadian should be first in Canada.

I have had many interesting experiences at the Indian Consulate. But fortunately no one screamed at me! When my late beloved Mother passed away, I took the the tried and tested method which always works in India, my good friend had a friend who knew the Vice Consul at the Embassy, I was discreetly taken into his office, where I showed them my last Indian Passport, and within 20 minutes my American Passport was stamped with an Indian Visa. In the meanwhile my contact was engaged in a friendly conversation with the Vice Council. \nThe problem with our Consulates abroad are, they are understaffed. And with the growing numbers of our diaspora in these countries, they are unable to handle the huge workload. And we are not the most polite people on the planet. Hence both sides tend to get into frequent clashes. On the other hand I have been into other nation Consulates, here they all have a system, and an online form filing program that is user friendly and easy to fill out. Everything works like clockwork. In some countries the Indian Consulates do offer emergency services even on weekends.

Yes I was born and raised in Canada and just moved to Alberta in a small brand new community and it's all Indian culture with all the houses worth anywhere from 1 to 4 million dollars and I'm the minority living and renting a basement Suite LOL. I feel like I'm in India visiting their country as a tourist??‍♀️

Being an Indian living in India I can tell you one thing that mostly people who are not 'good enough' in anything pay lumsum amount of money to move to Canada. For instance, most of the students going to Canada for study, lack foundational knowledge that should've been taught to them at school. Take a GRE-like exam by randomly selecting Indians residing in this area and u will understand what I'm talking about. Unfortunately, the current Canadian govt knows this and capitalise on this problem as they have turned the education system of Canada into a money-vending machine. Furthermore, no skill development opportunities and lack of jobs intensify these problems as these individuals are never exposed in a multicultural urban setting. That is why likeminded individuals aggregate and live in silos. Lastly, for my Indian brothers and sisters, I would like to say that yall should try to assimilate with the culture rather than live in silos. That doesn't necessarily mean yall should abandon ur religion and culture, but try to participate more in various activities associated with Canadian culture. Like Im a Hindu, but I participate in Eid & Christmas as well in India.. We should be open to new experiences, especially when moving to a foreign country, one should be able to adapt.. just like one adapts to the weather, one should also embrace the culture.. Try talking to people who are 'non-Indians', have a genuine conversation, find out the history of the place and various other key milestones in the region.. mostly engage in amicable social behaviour. Holding grudge & closing doors to new interactions would not solve anything, neither for Canadians nor for immigrants.. Live and let live.. Cheers!

Im an Indian from the state of Kerala. In my class from college nearly 20 of them came to study in Canada. Believe me these people who come are not that academically good the fun fact is that the academically brighter ones never went abroad all of them got a decent job in India itself.. I'm not saying that all of them coming are trash my ex gf now in Hamilton was extremely bright and got a decent job there..the basic issue is that Canadian government must have strict standards for foreign students Australia has it. As an Indian I feel your frustration feeling like stranger in your nation is very sad. ? Fellow Indians seeing this there is Malayalam saying that when you got to a land where they eat vipers you must eat it's middle portion. So try to become a Canadian don't turn Canada to India.

I am from India. While what u said is mostly true, I'd like to add that the top 10% indians dont immigrate to Canada coz the quality of life has degraded there.Your problem isn't too many indian immigrants, issue is too many underqualified indians. Don't allow just anyone to immigrate in your country. Allow only the best. Those who dont get into best Indian/ best US universities go to Canada.

Wow any idea why people are crazy to enter canada bcoz standard of livibg is good in your country and any idea how much cost it occurs to stay and study in canada i am not good in conversions but lemme tell u its very very high people literally sell everything they have in india to go and study there now just assume why do people sell like crazy people just to study i mean think about it bcoz of PR they sell like crazy if they can invest that amount in india they can get a degree from good universities in india and good jobs but if the same amount is invested in canada the standard of living will improve by obtaining canadian citizenship now if u r sane person think about it its all about standard of living and its not crime to look for better life and at the start of applying in universities of canada a job and PR were available as options so indians applief there with that intention now if u change those rules overnight the money we invested is just thrown into dustbin and i dont know why people think its wrong things to even protest on that if u hate immigration that badly dont show ur anger on indians or other immigrants show that anger on ut government for showing us indians a better future and allowing us indians to enter ur country legally with PR in future prospect Nd why do u think even after such outrage on immigration canada yet allows immigrants bcoz its simple people spend like crazy for such oppurtunities and canada has taken advantage of that and now canadians like we got ur money so get out from our country wow i ddidnt know people can be this greedy and selfish.

Am Indian but still I have to say people of India if u want to live wth ur culture thn stay in ur country itself dont try forcing the dirty side of our culture to a country who where living peacfully until we arrived.. stay there only if u can adapt to their ways.. other wise LEAVE.. people like em r spoiling the credibility of well mannered Indian people..

The problem is that rich indians and chinese are buying all real estate in the west with the money from outsourcing. They are turning the west into a feudal system like china and india. That you baby boomers for allowing this rape. Try to buy a house in china or india as a foreigner: impossible. Why do we allow them to buy land in the west?

I respect people who comes from other countries and working their ass off. Maybe too many around but at least they are hard workers .. I have never seen homeless,drug addict indian person to be honest.What I witness is, some people don't appreciate that they are priviliged to born in such a good country like Canada ,but people who is coming from poor and corrupted countries absolutely knows what is to be priviliged and they appreciate it.Also, you cannot deny a visa because they are coming from India. The real culprit are the diploma mill colleges throwing student visas like candy at Punjabis. As a result you guys import low talent individuals whose soul purpose is to immigrate to Canada. Top shelf Indian talent goes to the US where there is a better vetting and culling process in place.\n\nThat said India has been telling Canada that you guys have been importing some of rhe worst anti social elements from Punjab. You cant just blame federal or JT for this issue. Provisional governments are equally responsible as well. They allowed mass international students due to their (provincial) going down economy for various factors. They made false promises to students that students can get PRI in less than a year, otherwise do you think students were willing to go to these cold areas to study without any benefits? You made a promise, now its time to fulfill.\n2. International students funds the college/school by paying fee 3 times more than a Canadian one. There was no check and balance from provincial governments on school/colleges, because they liked the inflow of $$$ within their provinces.\n3. Totally agree with you that fake students should not be getting any merci. But are all the fake students from India, not really. Both the federal and provincial governments were allowing more Indian students because they wanted to have more economic ties with Indian growing economy. \n4. Punjabi (including Sikhs) is one of the best marshal races to serve in army or security agencies. Our Canadian officials never hire personals without a proper security check. \n5. Khalistan's supporters are adapting a peaceful way for their freedom land. As far they are peaceful, we should not have any issue with their struggle. I came here from India to Canada to research in machine learning at a top lab. Every single tim horton has an Indian PR holder who has never been to college. I feel like I am back in India lol. Only the CCD cafes got changed to Tim Hortons and Khalistani terrorists are welcome here because diversity I guess?

Protesting in another country where you are a student is not allowed and the act itself can get you deported. However, the scams the Canadian colleges and universities do in countries like India and Pakistan is terrible. These students pay almost double the money local kids do. They r most times highly qualified and have availed of an opportunity offered by these institutes. When such things happen, its obvious that they are unhappy. I think the Indian government needs to start issuing advisory. I don't think its worth it, I wish people understood this. The US, Germany/Europe,UK even Australia is much different. Believe it or not, a lot of these students wish to pay back student loans and get out of this scam. Canada is beautiful, but the amount of scams here, prepostrous.

THOUGHT EXPERIMENT: If 100K Canadian students went to India for university and demanded the same rights these Indian students are wanting, what would the Modi government's actions be? Methinks fire hoses and tear gas would be the answer. Non citizens visiting in any country have no ***RIGHT** to be in the country they are a guest in. They have alternatives, like going home and enriching their own native lands.

Every week in India a Christian pastor is killed. Plus, it common for family members kill anyone who converts to Christianity. They don't mix with our peaceful country in these kinds of numbers. They don't embrace what it means to be Canadian (peaceful) they colonize every city they go to in Canada. Indian visa officials are always whimsical. They should have made their visa refusal policy transparent and stop acting like the next USA. Even the USA embassy is more transparent and efficient than any Indian visa office. I strongly believe it's not his personal fault but rather India as a country should change their policies.

Even buying a home in India is like a Moon mission but at least more than 70% of Indians are enjoying ancestral homes. Real estate is extremely over valued.

Why don't Indians like India?

i am from hamilton and we are still very diverse here. yes brampton is quiet loaded with indians. i think what has failed is the requirements for immigration has dropped. i mean we use to have highly educated people come in but now the standards have dropped. so anyone with low standards can come walk in. pubjabi votes for jagmeet or trudeau and they are the group with highest crimes in india the state of punjab and there is a big drug and drinking culture that comes here. the minute our standards grow up with immigration requirements then we will get more educated bunch coming in. when we have greedy power hungry people run the country this is what happens. now people are fed up. the other day i was at freshco and some white guys started to lecture me and he openly admitted he is a racist. i pulled out my camera and started to record. he backed off but he could have done anything. he rude and stupid. i was also quiet upset. people were not like this and were more accepting. i can understand his frustration but he said openly he was racist and called me Fxxxxxxx indian etc... this is out of line. i also gave him a mouth full. i told him i have been here 35 years and his mood changed but its quiet disappointing how people react. its not safe or respectful. not sure where we are headed in canada.

Punjabis in foreign are very anti-India, yet they retain their OCI cards. Why do these Angrez- Sikhs have a say in Indian politics when they have become nationals of other countries like Canada, the UK, and the USA? I don't see Gujarati or other Indian communities that have settled abroad, become so anti-Indian. Only the Punjabi think it is only their issues that matter and need publicity. By the way, I have personally seen a lot of discrimination in their community, especially between Jatt and Dalit Sikhs. Maybe they should look within, before looking for a new state.

There are some valid points in the video. However, I didn't get it when you said there are people here who don't look Canadian and don't feel Canadian. Punjabi Sikhs from India have been part of Canada since the early 1900s, and alot more came in the 1970s.... So the sikhs have been part of Canada for a long time... Now, coming back to immigration point, blame the federal govt. and not the people.... I have alot points on why Indian people live in Brampton but..... I feel like it would easy to explain in a face to face conversation.

I'm a truck driver, my old workplace was about 80% Indian. The break room smelled like fish everyday it was horrible!!! Jokes aside there's a lot of Chad Indians, they come here to work and that's ALL they do. Literally nothing else, just work, pray and sleep. Nothing wrong with that but companies have started to expect you to work for nothing and work like 65 hour weeks because they have an endless stream low-income workers from India to do it. I don't blame them for the lack of good gigs but I do blame companies for exploiting newcomers to Canada and modelling their business on the fact they can hire temporary workers

@Harrison, there a bunch of holes in your story an thus superficial or lacking, yet has potential to be more Canadian in that you need to differentiate a bit more, attention in the details that you may have missed, votebank, Punjab province certain cluster of uncouth or gang type, instead of drawing in all religions and races and the best educated like how the US does with it, instead of a votebank cluster, that make up only 3% of the Indian population, yet 50% of Brampton, yet Canada is slower to do such. As I hope you know that, in that in Canada a city doesn’t usually choose newcomers directly factors of, ethnocentrism, pricing, etc are.  \n\nIt was or used to be that newcomers in many cases had to move to less populated centres i.e. in Saskatchewan/Manitoba etc, to help make the place more profitable and big as born Canadians usually didn’t want to move there. As your worst nightmare, me Canadian born Indian with a more Canadian accent than yours, yet I speak French yet am from the GTA. You should dig deeper instead of the old squeaky rhetoric repeating, you forget to mention Gurudwaras do have langar known as no charge meal, but you have potential to be known and yet ask people if they or why they are or aren’t willing to integrate. Any colour fair game, aside from asking Ukranian displaced on temporary refugee visa, not bc they are lacking melanin protection, but because their country is unsafe from aggression by a crazy. However, social programs are missing or drug users not willing to take up a program for various reasons. Maybe through proper fact checking, explain how India has over 200 ethnic and linguistic communities and why only one group is province, ethnic/attitude is prominent in Canada.  \n\nAlso do explain that there were many that were here in late 1800’s along with Chinese and Irish making railroads dragged over by British, the same British who invaded lands of established native nations people in Canada. Who are suffering from drug and alcohol problems likely tied to psychologic hurt to their fam or poor conditions, not just saying laziness etc.\n\nAlso to the incompetent people who think Indians only eat curry, which curry is largely a British invention, hence the last name in UK of caucasian people (white) of “Curry”, it is fun to laugh at ignorant or stupid people of any ethnic group bc it signals monkey brain intelligence. \n\nAlso, how about report on the alleged Nazi ties of poorly screened or liars who came from Ukraine circa 1940’s, even alleged ties to some poli in Canadia. \n\nGood street level reporting, just focus on facts and non sensationalist approach for a large win and even ethnics who agree with you.

Almost feels like reverse colonialization from all the British territories. First, they converted the UK and then to the other commonwealth nations. With China making up 18% of the world's population, India at 18% and Africa at 18% expect to see more from these 3 countries (the last is a continent). Although once they have citizenship they are all Canadians. Shame the interviewer only talked to almost homeless non-Indian Canadians! Even Canadian born Indians are annoyed theres too many Indian immigrants entering Canada. Most are useless students who apply to B-rated colleges like Algoma or Conestoga (who makes millions off of them), and then dont get good paying jobs afterwards. Because they studied useless programs. These Indian students use college as a loophole to gain fast PR in Canada. Majority of them are scammers. Some become nurses and truckers because thats where the demand is. Then they sponser their entire families from India. This contibutes to over population growth, where the demand is high, and housing supply is low. Families will also pool their money together to buy houses. Problem: The Government Allows it.

Indians frequently don't like other Indians - even in India.

Every coffee shop, gas station, doctors office, dental clinic, banks, all you see is Indians! that's it. Its worst in Calgary! I honestly dont feel that I am living in Canada, I feel like I am living in India. and they keep pouring more and more and more of them; 70% of immigration Quota is Indians, there are 1.4 billion of them so its not like its gonna stop at any time soon!
