During past 18 years I have travelled lots in various countries and seen so many settled people who are origin from respective country or are settled from ages . But you also note that thay had gone through with same as beginner going through, or might b lot . I like your post, and doesn't notice any ego or proud in that . I like that . But what I mean to say is everyone from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka or Bangladesh , before come in English country or in any country, are starting very big dreams and after step into new country they don't accept positive things and blames only those countries where thay have gone for higher education or for earning money. Still they stay there and says here is blot like india , dongle come here , or we have to do this type of job .They don't have servants there, they have to wash their clothes themselves, cook themselves and clean house themselves . That's why thay are saying bad words for that country and still they want path of permanent residence of that country. I am not against of india but if you are staying in English country for 6 months, I request you please make video for how government works for their people, how smooth you can run your business without giving bribe to government officers , how police officers are doing their job and how pure is system . And please all these compare in India and suggest life is easy there or not . I love my country and during my 18 years in UK , I came back to India with my family to settle down the rest life but because of some government officers ( on each step asking bribe for business) , and not getting support from government, decided to go back to UK .I mean to say in English country there is value for poor person or for rich person. In india government hospital are free but look how they treat the patient. Please compair each sector and make video. If you do this would be very grateful. I had a recent experience traveling with friends to Friday Harbor in Washington State near Victoria Island. It was a touristy spot in the PNW. There are 4 of us that day - 3 asians and 1 white . My white friend needed to use the restroom so the three of us went to a tourist information center. When we walked in the two white ladies just ignored us didn’t say hi or anything and we were not paying attention at first until my white friend walked in . one lady immediately got up and greeted him. And when she found out that the white guy is friend with the other 3 asians She started to talk to all of us but the entire time she only had eye contact with my white friend. It was kinda weird for me. It was not a bad experience but you noticed the skin color do make a difference in how people treated you in the US.

A lot of people comment about how illegal immigration is ok, and blah blah blah. It's simple to say that when you don't feel the direct impact. Change the US as a country to your house. Now let's say the neighbors land Lord is beating the shit outta everyone in that household (play on the violence that's happening in country of orgin). One of then move into your house without letting you know beforehand (illegals). Let's say you don't mind and understand why they did so. Now they work hard around the house and get a job to spend for themselves and send money next door to the family still left behind. . But they don't have to pay for electricity, gas (aka taxes). And since you own a 3 bed room house, things don't change that much. Now 2 more of the neighbors flee because of the asshole land Lord. Now you have to start working slightly harder to pay for your utilities aka taxes. Now you start seeing how more people affect your household. Now even more people flee the next door neighbors and you work even harder for utilities plus your trash is overflowing, have to invest in larger trash cans, fix the doors or ascetic's(pipes, faucets, tubs etc) in your house from over use or mismanagement. Plus you have to start driving their kids to school, you have to get a bigger vehicle (that's a play on the education systems bloating classroom problems)spend more on gas and car maintenance, and since they all don't speak English, to have to spend money on making signs to inform them of the house rules and dangers. You have to invest time out of your schedule to inform them how things work in your house hold because at their house they walked around naked or shit with the door open (play on different societal norms or religions) and may even have to alter your rules as not to impose and anger them. Know the house is over filled and they expect you to buy a bigger house (play on the welfare state)I mean I can go on... But people reading this can get the drift. Point is, yes i understand that people want a better life and all immgration in not necessarily evil, but you can't just let anyone come in because you feel bad. Making change based off emotions of a few is detrimental to the whole.

They did the same thing to my husband. He married a Canadian woman and had Canadian children... But that wasn't enough... Then he was robbed and assaulted in a bad part of town which gave him extra time only because the supreme court wanted to prosecute the assailants who had attacked my husband... If it werent for the attack he would have been deported at least a year earlier... My husband had legitimate reasons to not want to return to his home country (also Honduras) and aside from that he has children and a wife....\n\nThey say there are laws and this and that... That a refugee cannot enter illegally into Canada and become a successful Canadian....that they have to enter legally.... But how can they enter legally when they cannot get a visa in their own country.... Now we are pushing for humanitarian and compassionate grounds... But life is hard in Honduras and we dont know how much longer he can suffer there before he makes the decision to take the long illegal trek to the north once again...

I was born in Seattle and left to Canada (married) when I was in early 20's!  This then was a good change for me as Vancouver was a great city compared to Seattle, moved right downtown and had a blast so for a young person (then) was great.  Met some great people from all over the world and had health care, medical/Dental etc.... I worked in the greater Vancouver area for 8 years and it was tough, very strict, and did not help that I was from the states, white bread Canadian seemed a bit jealous that I was there, sometimes not very friendly.  The Europeans I met were actually better to deal with and I got along quite well with them.  The cost of living was about the same as in Seattle.  After about 8 years being in Canada and working hard I saw America booming and the Canadian dollar was as low as $.62 cents (in late 90's) so I took my craft from Vancouver and brought it to the US just across the border, I became much happier working in the States, I took a little bit of bs but not bad from some that I had a Canadian accent (go figure when I moved up there I had a twang) I really never left the united states I will always be American and I have been still working in the US for over 20 years and deal with mainly Americans on a daily basis from all over the State of Washington.  Depending on where you grow up or end up you should never see a border Seattle and Vancouver have more in common than Vancouver / Calgary in fact most Canadians don't care much for the other provinces.  After 30 years of being part of both countries, I can say that people are people both have great offerings and if you took the best of Canada and America to combine then we would all prosper, there is so much both can learn from each other.  Bottom line:I take the best of both worlds and what they have to offer, yes, I have found less expensive goods in Canada than what they cost in the states.  I have seen it from both eyes, and if you cant be open culturally then stay away.

The best and smartest thing any immigrant can do is to learn to speak and write English even though that's not politically correct to say. He would have been better off in the United States flying under the radar. Although with Trump as President INS will throw you out in a heartbeat. Also Obama deported quite a bit of Latin people from this country. Obama was enforcing the laws a lot of people don't want to hear that but that's true. Somebody gave this guy some bad information. Canada has the population of 30 million people. It's easier to keep track of 30 million than 350 million which is the approximate population of the United States. Also to my Republican friends Ronald Reagan naturalized and gave amnesty to 10 million Latin immigrants to this country in one swipe of his pen back in I think 1986.

They discriminate against Canadian born Chinese too, so I left after my Engineering Master and MBA.\n\nCannot say that I was proud to be born in Canada. Many of these bad incidences are what I remembered as a child. Canada's racism is a polite type. I did go back to my country of color.

I'm an immigrant and I wish I didn't leave my homeland and immigrated to North America! I'm not saying that in a bad way, but we immigrants suffer a lot when we leave our original countries to live and work abroad! I spent the last 25 years of my life unhappy, alone, lonely and without family! When I talk to my family back home, most of them are living happily while I'm suffering here! I'm sick of these sob stories. Are those people really that stupid? I'm beginning to think they really are. This man had been in the States for several years according to this video. He was in the States illegally. He clearly never bothered to learn English, and it looks like that for his family too. So he takes his family and again is expecting to be given asylum, and then does no research to find out the facts about Canada's immigration system before he goes there. Then he complains about having to spend all his money. Oh gee, did he actually think they would just give him free everything??? Clearly the threat he's complaining about in his own country is not that bad, since Canada rejected his asylum. So what does he do? He refuses to turn up for his hearing, and then he flees to another province. Totally criminal activity. Canada's immigration people need to round him up and deport him. It's his OWN FAULT he is separated from his family. HE BROKE THE LAW!!! There are CONSEQUENCES to breaking the law. Sheesh!!! I'm so sick of hearing these sob stories from these freeloaders. So I'm in a dilemma of whether I should move down to Florida and live with my American girlfriend, or stay up here and support her moving up here in Canada. My main issue is health care. I just hear many people have bad service and poor treatment with insurance down there, but it all depends what insurance your applying with. People are fairly nice, but there are also some douche bags as well so I'm not surprised. With my overall budget, I could likely stay down there for about a few months or so. Here in Canada, taxes are a little higher, but it's worth it (Some idiot said our taxes are lower), health care is paid for, winters are cold but anyone can survive through it. Some say Canada is a socialist (which is Not -_-). Liberal party is ruining Canada as it is in a way. But again, it's better Justin than Trump. (Betting for Scheer). Idk, politics is bad in both countries I say. Idk, I'm likely missing some things here. Should I move down with my girlfriend, or stay up and support her moving up here?

While i feel bad for this family, they cannot say they are refugees as they were refugees when they entered America yrs ago but they are not if they go from being away from their birth country for over a decade! I'm sorry but you ain't no refugee in Canada \nHere in Australia we have very tight immigration laws and its absolutely harder to get here as our country stands alone we have no linking countries.

Living in Latin America is not that bad, well there are parts where you should avoid at all cost but there are places where you can have a safe decent life, most of you just say what comes out of your small little brains without ever even leaving your city your whole life. Its just that this people have lived and been so dependent from your system and in stretching their hands( beg) all this time that they not know what to do now. \n\nHe said that he wasted 15 thousand dollars in lawyer, if it would have been me I could have perfectly moved to lets say Costa Rica or Peru and still have money to buy land. But they really are addicted to this kind of life. There are so many examples...This religion feeling which later turns into violence starts with your own house, your upbringing and your own values. If a kid is used to seeing his mom being suppressed then when he grows up, dont expect much from him. Now every community has this issue but in Muslim community it is engraved in you the moment you open your eyes on planet earth. You cannot defend the argument when someone says Women are suppressed in mulsim culture. The most hurtful thing happening is in UK. A country which gave you food, shelter, respect, a better life. You are trying to impose your values on it? As a matter of fact, good muslims should come out openly and boycott these terrorist who are trying to create chaos if they really want to show good intentions but you wont see any (for obvious reasons). They often cry about they being a victim but what about other people?? If all good muslim come out and boycott bad muslims then that would be a thing to appreciate and notice. In last you cant clap with one hand! Remember that.

it's not the religion.... it's the mac's convenience and the corner stores selling tropicana juice for 6 bucks a liter. It's the family oriented hiring policies and the rural area stores being bought and not offering fishing bait, ice or firewood but instead offering dollar store fishing lures for 20 bucks. it's the electronic stores that sell tape decks and old CD players. The stuff that really makes a bad impression is when a muslim family buys a Pizza Pizza or a subway and then changes the restaurant so that there is no where to be seated and the food is processed by someone who won't look me in the eye once and speaks a language that I can't understand to an employer about my sandwich and i will never know what the problem was. I feel like my spanish and native friends treat me the same as them. I feel like the scottish guy who hates me for not waking up at 5 in the morning is only mad because i'm not working as hard as him. I'm saying that maybe a lot of muslims don't want to be our friends and maybe some do... but it seems like they don't want to be my friend but will message a pretty white girl on every single facebook post with paragraphs of physical praise. i probably get a lot of facts wrong... but that world may be too far away for us to acclimate into each others societies. I'd like it though if we could all live in such a manner where we could feel like we aren't all gunning for a chunk of the world.

This is a serious issue in Quesnel BC! I'd be more than willing to show you what it's like trying to live here! The mall in my area is really bad for this! Making my weekly trips to pick up necessities dreadful, to say in the least!
