I wished to move to Canada 12 years ago. I am American. I was told that I needed a job and that job NEEDED to be filled. This would allow me to move there. I didn't move. Now with the migration crisis, too many immigrants at one time will overload the system and overpopulate a country. I fear with the climate crisis constantly reshaping our futures, that immigration will be an ongoing problem for the entire world. I believe countries must plan for even more immigration waves due to climate change. The Earth is changing...people will be moving to save their lives, to have a future. As human beings we must adapt to these pressures and changes in our planet. Make it livable, or else face the consequences of seeing millions of people die because you were unwilling to open your borders. There is room, just get rid of the greed. This planet , its peoples, must find ways to live together. Education, to keep the planet healthy, stop overpopulation, keep the air and water clean...stop the greed are the goals we must strive to follow.

With Joe Biden running the United States Americans will never again live with a lack of dope

This should not be right because why are we not OK? I understand different parts of the world has things I’m born Canadian as far as my family and millennia and Canada were third generation here in Canada with Caribbean European and American descent all that being said I don’t care how people comes to Canada ?? but we should get the best of the best and I feel like Since they have a job since I work with the airline, why can’t they just apply for a transfer? Why can’t they why everybody else has to have a passport to travel? Why can’t they? Why can’t they have a passport? Why should they be or have a passport stuff like that I’m just saying, why would they abandon your job and you can transfer your job or get you know I don’t know I’m just to me. I don’t think it’s right I don’t think it’s right because, is there enough job for people who already live here housing stuff all these kind of things people do not think about

Sorry folks, we have no money left.\nWhere will you run when you can't live here.\n\nAlso, you should remember that you all are a part of the invasion.\nAnd when it goes down, war is war!\n\nThere will not be an American who isn't fighting.\n\nAnd those who have had it all taken from them will do things the books in the future tell your great grandkids about!\nWhen you have lost everything, all you have left to fight for is revenge.\nThose who fight on from there will be ruthless!

The problem is wars conducted by Europeans and Americans and colonizations made lot countries almost unlivable for the native people so they leave these destroyed countries to look for better lives

Lived in Toronto 10 years ago, Canadians are not kind they're just better educated thant Americans.

Yall are coming to canada and we are trying to get out. You are not doing yourself a favour by coming here, this is not the same country it was years back. People here have become more american; rude, disrespectful, overly egotistical, our streets arent safe anymore, car thefts at an all time high and no one talks about the amount of random acts of violence coming from the homeless in my area, housing prices surging YoY by atleast 11%/year. Cost of living has increased 4-10x on certain things in the grocery stores. I love how everyone thinks their country is great till it isnt then flood somewhere else and bring all the issues and problems with them

THIS IS DISGUSTING WHAT THIS ADMINISTRATION HAS INSTIGATED BY PROMISING SO MANY BENEFITS IF YOU INVADE OUR AMERICAN BORDERS FROM AROUND THE WORLD. WHEN OUR OWN VETERANS ARE LIVING IN THE STREETS HOMELESS AND WITH P.T.S.D.!-- ENTIRE FAMILIES ARE HOMELESS FROM SKY HIGH RENTALS THEY CAN NOT AFFORD A ROOF OVER THERE FAMILIES HEAD DO OVERPRICED FOR PROFIT. THESE NORMAL FAMILIES HAVE TOLERATE LIVING IN THE STREETS WITH PEOPLE WITH DRUG AND CRIME ADDICTION DO TO MENTAL ILLNESS FROM OVER PRESCRIBING OPIATE PAINKILLERS FROM THE PHARMACIST AND MEDICAL BOARD FOR PROFIT. THIS ADMINISTRATION REGULATES THE POLICE DEPARTMENTS, BORDER PATROL TO ENFORCE AMERICAN WRITTEN JUDICIAL LAWS. WHAT A CIRCUS AND WORLD WIDE EMBARRASSMENT TO OUR ANCESTORS BOTH NATIVE AND SETTLERS WHO SUFFERED AND ALL HAD LOSSES ONE WAY OR ANOTHER. BUT AMERICA WAS BUILT ON THOSE HISTORICAL EVENTS. WHAT AN INSULT TO ALL OUR ANCESTORS WHO SUFFERED TO BUILD A COUNTRY AND A BETTER FUTURE FOR IT'S LAW ABIDING CITIZENS.?

Keep drinking the cool aid Americans... these people are coming for your lively hood ... keep voting in democraps and your kids won't have a country in 10 years

It is a very important thing to note that despite Canada being the second largest country in the world by landmass, the vast majority of the population lives 100km from the American border because the vast majority of the land has no infrastructure to have large scale habitation. Outside of the prairies and the st Lawrence valley, there is precious little farmland to sustain people. So we import a huge percentage of our food which can also attribute to rising costs (not the only factor but it doesn’t help). Geographically, this country can’t comfortably hold more than 36 million people. Our population really shouldn’t grow beyond that unless we have infrastructure to house and feed people, which we barely do for the people that live here let alone the folks coming in. I feel like people want to make it a race issue, but that’s misguided. Canada is not America. We can’t fill our country top to bottom with people it’s logistically too difficult. We literally don’t have the resources to grow beyond that roughly 36 million cap

As an American, I liked visiting Canada. The people are polite, respectful, and nightlife is cheap compared to the states. As far as living there, I think Canada is not desirable. 1. Weather, 2. Taxes, 3. Wants group identity over individual rights. 4. Cost.

Great reaction vid.. Love visiting the US, love living in Canada.. Been all over the States including Sandusky, Ohio.. lol.. Also lived 3 years in Windsor (Detroit border).. Differences are absolutely safety. Just gotta be more aware in the States, get your coke from a reputable dealer LMAO.. American's are always surprised a Canadian knows about their teams, NFL is big in Canada.. US has everything for certain, it's a big draw.. Have always had great interaction with American's.

Where did they find all the money to finance the illegals? Ask yourself if tgey have been sitting on that much money they coukd have solved homelessness, people would be able to eat, and have a olace to live. We should have been a priority. We would have been able to live like the Sheiks in Dubai if Americans truly came first.

No matter where you live in Canada we are bombarded with American News so we can see all the bad things that happen in the US. Canadian news is designed to be more of an informative format whereas American News is much more sensationalized so we don't always get to see through the crap! I would agree that much of the USA is quite safe but the reality is that anyone wanting to move from Canada to the USA is more likely to find their best opportunities in larger urban centers where all these concerns become far more real.

I’ve been American my whole life and I’m struggling so bad with bills and Child support and all the other bullshit I have to pay but then these illegal come over here and they just give them money. Food stamps a place to live while I’m suffering as an American citizen. It’s so F U

Immigrants used to come here to become Canadians, now they only want to live in their own country within Canada, with massive concessions and financial support.\nClose door to SE Asia and the Middle East, we have disproportionate numbers here already.\nReficus on Eastern Europe and South American refugees.

wait, 1,400 a month credit cards ,...and disabled homeless American's and people fleeing Domestic abuse situations and children aging out of foster care are told to go screw off and live on the streets...what the actual frick???

This country totally destroyed by Democratic Party ,what’s going on with American citizens, you’re all allowed this happen in the USA,looks around world,is anyone can freely cross border?only in this country ,very soon we will living like India

Please, Cash. Fastest, easiest way to get out of the US to somewhere Americans are welcome or at least tolerated and where pensioners can afford to live?
2024-08-04 0
Where are these people going to live? I’m afraid the day will come when criminal migrants will just enter neighborhoods and violently evict Americans from their homes and move right in. Will the police do anything? Will Soros District Attorneys prosecute these people? Will banks still demand that evicted homeowners pay their mortgage? It’s coming, unless we crack down immediately

Like most Yankees, C. Jordan is not aware of the following fact... All the migrants from Mexico who cross the Canada\\US border to get in the U.S. have always been in America, since Mexico and Canada are countries which are in America, which is not a country but a whole continent stretching from Canada to Argentina. C. Columbus did not discover the U.S. but America. In other words, Mexicans and Canadians and Brazilians are all Americans, just like the Yankees living between LA and NYC.

So, my American fellows, you still think Canada is so nice and easy to live with sock-boy PM and half a year wait for free medical appointment? Illegals flee the country. Illegals from poor third world countries leaving communist Canada. That is a pretty scarry sign

I live in a shelter that houses Migrants on floors beneath me. Without fail I see the following amongst them: rhinestone manicures, botox treatments, Steve Madden purses, professionally done highlights, and children as young as ONE with tbeir own cellphones. They also don a lot of designer clothes and shoes. MANY of them are pregnant!!! In my calculations they live better than the average American.

the only value almost everybody lives by is greed .... the myth is that in the usa everybody is a millionnaire ... so why americans are so surprised everybody in the world want to ge to the greatest country in the world of all time and history where everybody is a millionnaire ?

My fellow concerned Americans!\nWe cannot ignore the harsh reality that our hardworking families struggle to make ends meet. We pay, only to find ourselves living paycheck to paycheck while foreigners receive free food, housing, and a luxurious monthly stipend of 1400 dollars - a sum that could be life-changing for many of these families. \n \nIt's disconcerting to note that those who contribute so considerably to the nation's finances are left with little by way of compensation. The government's provision of free education, though commendable, stands in stark contrast to the generous allowances granted to foreigners. Why should our citizens' hard-earned money be spent on others first, only to have their own basic needs ignored? \n \nConsider a mother and father working multiple jobs just to provide for their children - and yet they don't even come close to receiving that 1400 dollars in financial support. Meanwhile, those who haven't contributed nearly as much are given such ample handouts. Is this the system we want in America?

Americans are being replaced. Get used to it. They're here because they don't have nothing to live for. And we're here. I'm not sure why anymore.
2024-08-04 0
This was all about cheap labor Americans were asking for too much.... These people will live off quarter what Americans are used to.
2024-08-04 0
This is an absolute disgrace.\nThey are not fleeing persecution.\nThey are not seeking asylum.\nThey are mostly men looking for a shortcut to living in relative ease on the American taxpayer's dime.\nIt's radically transforming the fabric of our country.\nIt's an invasion, absolutely.

As a Canadian who is living in an area facing rising crime and poverty, and not too far from the border, I stand with Americans who are tired of this nonsense, and the delusional tyrants who are deliberately destroying our society. God be with you all.
2024-08-04 0
it's always been an easy border to cross and americans living north always knew that
2024-08-04 0
How are they getting across the border? They give Americans all kinds of hassle crossing the border and yet these people are allowed in with no ID and no passport. The criminals have turned the city into a great big trash heap. What do they think they are going to find? They can’t even get a place to live. New Yorkers can’t even get a place to live! Crap ?!! They are taking better care of the immigrants than they do their own citizens. Interesting that they let them have everything on a platter and yet our ancestors coming through Ellis Island suffered unbelievable indignities!
2024-08-04 0
Make sure you thank all the democrats who opened the borders and let them in. Now, they can live better than a lot of Americans. Don’t worry, they said they are all good people.

As a Canadian - the immigration tom-foolery that is happening is just as bad up here. Our Prime Minister is a handsome idiot, he was a drama teacher before he became Prime Minister (I know, make that one make sense). He has no idea what he's doing, he's being used as a puppet for more experienced extortionists-erm-politicians. With the help of his party members and a coalition with another party, in less than ten years he has taken Canada from a great place to visit and live to basically what's happening in NY. Crime in our cities has gone up dramatically. Theft is on the rise. Homelessness and drug use is through the roof. Immigration is out of control. And our government also prioritizes immigrants and asylum seekers before born and raised Canadian citizens. As a Canadian who is tired of the nonsense that's been happening in the world this past decade, I wish our government would put on their big boy pants and do something about this uncontrolled immigration. Things are bad here too. Our government seems to keep changing policies and laws to further accomodate the insanity that is happening, I promise, not every Canadian wants these changes to happen. We are just as sick and tired of all this nonsense as our American cousins. I wouldn't be surprised if both countries at some point united in objective and worked together to fix this problem - but that's not gonna happen anytime soon as long as these dummies are in power. But believe me, the regular people of Canada see what you're going through because it's also happening in our own back yard. From this Canadian, I wish you all strength and courage in the coming days, we're all going to need it. God bless, and stay safe everyone <3

Jeez I hope Trump wins and deports these people so us AMERICANS can enjoy living in the greatest city of the world.

I pass around those people every day in the Bronx Manhattan and queens. They don’t bother nobody but was crazy is I live around white Americans and they all scared of me and they all think I’m gon commit some type of crime which most likely I have more morals & money than them, so I just don’t understand what’s the point of you inciting fear When the Caucasian in this city are most of the ones who create the fear, luckily that black and brown people don’t fall for their malicious acts. You should focus on MTA corruption you should focus on how NYPD beats its people cause a lot of stuff that you’re saying ain’t in every day New Yorkers ife its only basically the ones that want to do subliminal bigotry and scare everyone come on bro always pointing fingers at everybody else. Meanwhile, you have people shoot up schools and nobody talks about that and turns a blind night to that.

immigrants came to Canada and ruined our economy, now its incredibly expensive to live here, therefore they have to move because they cant afford it anymore. Good luck to you americans

This was pre-planned by the democrats. They care less about Americans. ?? Wake up America, vote red. Save your country, save your lives. ??????????????

It's more like roughly $14,000 a month for EBT and $5,000 a month for cash advance. FACTS. WE'RE ALL PAYING FOR THEM TO LIVE THE AMERICAN DREAM WHILE WE SUFFER. Lovely!...

WOW! Sorry Cash but American are VERY undereducated about Canada. This has been going on for years on the boarder. It just up - ticked in the last couple. One of the problems here is we have ZERO vacancy rates , which makes it worse ...we have nowhere to put them, Then there's our foreign student problem which is very complicated and involve CON MEN in India , who have contacts/ family here and work the system. Up to and including helping them get drivers permits...illegally. There's all sorts of loop holes , how we found out about the drivers permits, why traffic accidents became more frequent of course. Then there's the fake colleges they set up and yeah the student gets a minimum wage job and lives in a house stacked with ppl in the same boat as them. Then find out they being rooked and stay with no education or if they do get a legit school they can't stay here and become a citizen because they can't find work in the higher professions ( doctor ) because the system is screwed then they move back home with a good education and leave us with gaps in our medical system. It's complicated and won't be solved anytime soon on either side.

Glad Canada’s sending their best illegals so they can live off the American tax payers dime, Canadians are taxed enough. Send them all they seem to be very well paid to live in NY.
2024-08-04 0
We must unite together and stop this invasion by illegal foreigners that are destroying our lives and communities. We cannot let them take over everything the poor hardworking Americans have built. The problem is the huge number of illegal foreigners coming into our country in a short time.

While everyone is focused on the southern border, no one has been paying attention to the Northern Border and our Ports of Entry. Its been going on for years. \nThis administration is abusing things like parole authority and the asylum process. \nIt is a lie that the law needs to be changed, the law is perfectly capable of enforcing violations of Immigration law, and processing legitimate claims for political asylum. But this administration refuse to enforce the law. \nWhats worse is that the Northern Border has been stripped of Border Patrol Agents who are sent to the southern border to process illegal aliens. I live on the border between New Brunswick and Maine, and Border Patrol Agents have told me this. \nUnless your an American citizen, its extremely simple to enter Canada. Their immigration laws are very weak, at best.

Canada! Canada! Canada! As a Canadian, I'm getting so freaking tired of being blamed for everything. On 9/11, some were convinced that the terrorists had come in 'thru Canada, until there was video evidence that they had gotten into the States legally 'thru a U.S. point. When a family from India were found frozen to death on the Minnesota-Canadian border, it was discovered that Indian nationals living in the States were responsible for human trafficking. The Canada-U.S. border is the world's longest undefended border for the past couple of centuries. The problem is that the U.S. is a product of too much good publicity. everyone wants to come to the Land of Milk and Honey. Canada has 41,012,063 people The States: 334,914, 281 people & the U.S. has much better weather: California, Florida, the Southwest, Hawaii, U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico. Where in your media: newspapers, magazines, films, t.v., advertising is there ever an impression that people have to actually have to work hard for the so-called American Dream?
2024-08-01 0
Oh this is really sad American people have nothing unless you have money you're struggling everyday they want to leave all these immigrants in 5 thousand month to live on I don't even make $2,000 a month and I'm expected to live we don't want all these people here I'm sorry they need to come legally

I live in Quebec and love winter, but I do sometimes dream of living somewhere like Hawaii or California where I could eat ripe avocados and grow so much food all year round. I could build a tiny home (less regulations - so much red tape here - and cheaper bc less need of insulation and heating) and go swimming every day. This is pretty idealistic though, and could probably do these things in non-american countries. Would I consider moving to the United States? Sure I would consider it. Would I though? Probably not. Why? Similar reasons to many folks in this country:\n- lack of women's rights (still growth to do here too)\n- lgbtqia+ discrimination (here as well, but definitely to a lesser extent)\n- racism (we have this here too though... just maybe less nazis?)\n- guns (this terrifies me... anyone I know who has a gun here has it only for hunting and it's locked up in a gun case, which I think is required, when not in use)\n- healthcare (though I'm not in love with our system... I'm currently on a huge waiting list for an mri, the waiting lists to get a doctor are obscene, and can't access dental or mental health support... some of our hospitals are in such poor shape...)\n- politics and MAGA (terrifying that so many people think like that... though our political parties are pretty fucked up too... just not to the same extent)\n- school systems that teach kids the world is as old as the Bible says\n- police and prison industrial complex (seems less personal and terrifying from the outside)

I'm a dual citizen of the USA and Canada (born in Dallas Texas, now lived in Canada since age 7). I agree with your point about American's being kind but getting a bad rap. I think a big part of that is due to media because for the most part you hear about the bad news about what Americans have done but you rarely hear about the wonderful sides of American people.
2024-07-28 0
If you live in North America, you are American I am tired of the USA acting like they own the title American, Canada and Mexico are also part of North America and then there is South America also Americans.
2024-07-26 0
I think the cost of living argument hasn’t held up. Real estate and rents are terrible in Vancouver and Toronto. For worse than most major American cities.
2024-07-23 0
WRONG! Not Toronto. It’s more dangerous in Saskatoon! 2024 stats - 7.84 violent deaths per 100,000 residents. \nAlso, Canadians are much more aware of the WORLD while Americans are mostly self-absorbed. \nI lived in the northern US for years (lots of obvious racism which was alien to this Canadian), and then wintered in the south for a number of more recent years (until Trump’s assent when I was verbally beaten by a group of new American friends when I suggested maybe Trump wasn’t so perfect). Since Trump LOST the election, the US has lost its mind so we don’t step foot across the border. We travel Europe again. Beautiful.\nBut, on the whole, Americans are really friendly if you don’t talk politics, don’t stare at anyone, and drive/park absolutely correctly.
2024-07-23 0
''It just depends on where you decide to live in the United States''\n\nThing is, in Canada, you'd have a really hard time to find somewhere really impoverished, except inuit or native-american settlements (which are a subject of shame for most canadians).
