People forget that border is not the sole responsibility of Canada! Migrants and stuff flows both directions! So why is Canada being made to deal with the entire thing? Where were the Americans stopping the flow coming north? No where, being dropped off by the busload and directed north into Ontario and Quebec! This entire continent has this same issue. If they are coming across the border in a vehicle Canada will not be able to stop them, they will stop at the US customs for screening bypassing Canadian border security. Canada has to do better stopping them from entering Canada to begin with. Stop the flow into Canada and it will stop leaking into the US.

You know how you fix the problem. Anybody harboring in any way or helping in any way should be put in jail for a minimum of 3 months instead of putting the criminal in jail or the illegal, you send them back to Canada. Or Mexico or wherever they came from and the person that tried to help them has to pay by sitting in jail for 3 months or longer. A second offense, 5 years, a third offense life. They'll stop helping at that point

Please stay away from Canada I moved here and I regret it every day. I'm a citizen through my parents and getting my certificate took YEARS which stopped me from being able to go to school or work which means years of my adult life wasted that could have been put to much better use for something that wasn't even my fault. I also lost good opportunities too because of it!!!! Not happy especially since I genuinely needed the money. I won't forgive Canada for that. Also everything here is really expensive and the selection is just not very good. Also work opportunities are not as good as in the US. Anyways I finally got my certificate and got my life started up again just over 2 years ago, but I still often think of returning to the US after just being here for 4.5 years. I now warn some of my US friends not to go to Canada just for the hype if they mention it. I also know of a friend who moved here and left after 1 year, they came to hate it here.
