I am so sorry Canada, truly. I'm embarrassed that our president would do this. It's shameful. Please know that even though the majority of votes put Trump into office, it wasn't a landslide. Something like 40% of us did NOT vote him in. Therefore, there are many, many Americans who did not want him, do not want his politics and are seriously sorry for his actions.

I remember when we had a president that could speak in complete sentences without any name calling and pointing fingers at everyone else. Canada, you are doing exactly what you do when you see a bully, you stand up and fight back. As an American, I’m so embarrassed by trump’s behavior but sadly I am not surprised.

As an American, I hear the Canadian President. I am sorry about this. Canada is American Neighbor and friend. I dont agree with Trump with this tariffs.

Twice in a week Trump is humiliated by a world leader, Trump thinking he can be a president of a country like the ceo of a corporation. He blackmails people offering them scraps from the table of his last meal as if they should be thankful. How on gods earth did America vote this clown as it's leader. Putin has spent 3 years trying to get into Kiev and in a few weeks has managed to get into the Oval office of the Whitehouse. I sit here in the UK watching what is going on in America like many around the world cringing and at the same time laughing at how such a scumbag could achieve what he has done. Trump and his arse licking lapdog are making a laughing stock of the US and you seem helpless to stop the shitshow that is coming your way. Trudeau is serving the final moments of his last term, but his approval ratings shot up since the Trump presidency started. Trump genuinely such a crappy leader than other leaders with approval ratings in the dirt are gaining support for going against him. As an American, it’s damn amazing. I hope the next PM of Canada keeps up the same energy and doesn’t concede to the US. Things won’t get better until the world sticks it to us, because the world turning their backs on us is the only thing that’ll get through the thick skulls of anyone who still supports Trump.
