Canada's standards of living are a lot higher than the US. USA's say they're no1 in a lot of things but Canada actually is the best place to live in the world. I don't live in the mountains, but I don't deny they are there. Small towns are safe you say.....until easily accessed guns are used to kill so many kids, like in Uvalde . All these reasonings are pretty tame ngl. It's just 1st world problems after 1st world problems. Even the speed limit thing. There's nothing wrong with 50 even if it should be 70. I will say in one part: you are very very right. \n\nIn another part, you’re looking for a lifestyle that’s more catered to how you view the world and your wants/needs. \n\nVancouver is gorgeous. And, many cities in Europe (even though they’re historically beautiful) do not compare to Vancouver. It’s different. while I agree with a lot of this video theres one crucial aspect this video neglects and same with the commenters here.. POPULATION. \n\nCompared to countries like denmark, sweden, japan, france, uk, etc. we have a much bigger country to maintain landmass wise. Infrastructure. USA is similar but they have 10x the population as us. Our population in canada is pathetic. Problem is everyone stays in ontario or BC which is stupid, im in sask I want population. Another thing about infrastructure is our climate. We have such drastic events in our climate across our huge country that takes a toll. Climate problems with our low population is not a good thing. I mean most people outside canada and even within Canada dont believe me but Saskatchewan goes from like -45 to +45C with windchill/humidex. Our forests are on fire often, that is not normal. That costs so much money to fix as well. In summer sometimes, Nunavut or NWT will be warmer then here, we talk about it here when it happens. Think about that. Weather is HUGE in saskatchewan. We talk about weather daily. I never realized until internationals pointed that out that we are obsessed with weather in sask lol. \n\n Our housing market is a joke and I agree we need to invest more in buisnesses but at the same time we need affordable housing, we are in a weird spot. As far as working etc goes people commenting here lol the golden years of the 80s are gone old timers, my parents realize this that you guys were spoiled in one of the greatest time periods in human history - post WWII boom and the effects. I could go on and on how the 70s-90s were one of the best time periods in modern history for various reasons but I wont. There are problems internationally, we live in a globalist world. We still have it good. Go travel and make international friends. This is nothing that we are dealing with at the moment. All I will say though is leave the huge metropolitans like Toronto and Vancouver. Everyone wants to go there because they think 'theres more opportunity' ugh. Theres opportunity across canada but if everyone things like that there will be problems. The idea of Ontario or BC is just a big nope for me (although I go to BC every couple years, love it there I would not want to live there).

I live next to a drop off destination for Joe Biden's migrants. I would have to say they appear to be victims of the Democrat party, in that, like many other groups of people they have been lied to or given false hopes of success or prosperity. It is evident every morning when about thirty men gather in groups awaiting, perhaps a local contractor, to drive up and offer them a few hours of work, digging a hole or some other menial task. We also now have these corner Hey Cocos fruit stands where another of Joe's migrants sits for hours, making a couple bucks, at best, and a few more for whoever owns the cart and provides the fruit. I can only imagine where all these men must be sleeping at night, who might be paying for their space on a garage floor. Their only relief comes from gathering at the park across the street to use the barbecues and tables, and share a meal. For some the meal leads to beer and drunkenness. I watched the police send five of them back to the garage since they were all in a car drinking, even an open alcohol container in CA is illegal. If I were one of them I would have been arrested, but these lucky Biden immigrants were simply told to walk away. I hope the police at least impounded the car. Ten o'clock on a Sunday morning, people jogging, people walking their dogs, unaware of Joe Biden's guys, ready to drive away in drunken bliss. Thank you Joe. And my life turned upside down this Friday by illegal immigrants here in Louisiana. They ran a red light, smash my car, totaled it. While running from border patrol and customs. I counted eight people running out of the vehicle and not one gave two shits to check on me, even though I was injured. Seven of them got away the only one they caught was a 14 year old Honduran child that claimed amnesty. So vehicle which they stole, which had stolen license plate, and apparently was full of stolen tools all was seized. The owners will be lucky if they get anything back since it is being held as evidence. I was told by My Attorney chances are my insurance will not pay me in full for my vehicle. Also, I only have a few payments on my car left, and I’m forced to pay it even though now I have no vehicle to get to work, because all my equity is tied up in it, funny thing is I recognize this kid from one of the jobsites down the street. They literally beat me in a bid on. Mind you only buy $400 differences I’m having to pay taxes it’s a joke when you say these people take jobs and no one else wants thing is it’s not jobs no one else wants it’s jobs that have become jobs. No one wants because of the pay continues to fall prices continue to increase, everyone thinks he’s illegal immigrants make no money on these jobsites most of them have nicer vehicles and live in nicer places than the guys I know. The Democrats who are used to vote for because I thought they were for the workingman have completely switched. I’ve watched the video and I’ve read many comments. My message it’s to immigrants, Canadians & everyone. Just be some patient to read for you to think reasonable after this. I’m sure you’ll start to be reasonable regarding Canada. I had a good life good job & a nice home in Ukraine. Due to the barbarian russian invasion my family & I fled the horrific situation in Kharkiv city. I was driving a mini bus of 4 families! Most are children. We’ve arrived to Europe. Crossing many countries (Poland, Czechia & Austria) we’ve arrived to the country leading the EU. In Poland & Czechia, we’re treat very good by the people. In Austria we got hardly a payed hotel where children could get a rest!!! We still didn’t understand why they don’t want to give us rooms despite we’re paying for our staying!!! In Germany, I believe that the government did its best. But the number of comers is huge! Of course many they got disappointed as happened with me! But I still understand and believe that really the government & people did theirs best. So fast I got a job! The social connection helped to introduce me to the company! But i was not hired, I still to express myself & my qualifications. The manager was understanding, so he accepted to communicate in English and to offer me the job in case if I am successful doing the job during the first week at the site. I had to change the machines menu into English. So the manager was very satisfied with my job and I got that job. The rent! You’ll get it only if you receive the blessing of each member of the county and a very strong social connections! The doctors! To make just a blood work for my son it took 45 days of waiting! To get the doctor appointment, you need that a German guy call and get you the appointment! Because when my wife called, the secretary said: we don’t speak English! But when my wife went for her visit she figured out they’re speaking English better than her!!! My son has an issue of hyperactivity, so they refused to accept him at school more than 3 hours a day! And he was excluded from the birthday parties of his colleagues aswell other events! Other Ukrainian children, they were just attending classes! Just a show! No body cares how help their integration! About, the taxes! The half of my income was going to the government! The money back?! Only 200 euros/ month for my kid. And nothing else. Nothing! To get a neurologist appointment for my son it was necessary to wait 3 months! Prices?! Everything expensive! Technology?! Not better than Canada at all. Bureaucracy, Canada is much less. Banking system, Canada much better. Where in Germany?! The best province in Germany “Munich”. Where people stoped long ago dreaming to purchase a home. Guys, Canada doesn’t through broken people as we were in camps! Where nothing is human there! Canada doesn’t enter you in cercle of hell bureaucracy just to get your kid into school! And if he needs a support he get it right away without any background that he’s not our!!! I got a good job in Canada; so fast. Without any social connections because simply I do not have any. I rent an apartment for my family, without to proof to the landlord that I’m the best guy in the world with a witnessed county about that!!! I want you to be sure, that I am not the lonely case. Just ask Ukrainians stied in Europe for a while before they move recently. Just ask them. I am not saying it’s a paradise or cons don’t exist. Just paradise doesn’t exist! And cons are everywhere. Just I want you to be fair about Canada. Please, be reasonable! The cons in Canada are not catastrophic, and it’s not difficult to fix them. It may take some time, but not difficult. Believe me it’s not about only Canada. The whole world is going a step back! I wish that my experience, helps to understand appropriately.

I fully understand both sides. On one side a guy who practices SIKH religion in which he carries a knife (or resembles a knife) as a sacred item/object as part of his religious beliefs. On the other side you have a cop who doesn't know about it or why he has it so as his job is to protect others he has to investigate. I personally don't think it should be allowed on or at a campus because others can take advantage of it saying they to believe so they can also carry it. It's about safety not his religion.

Great video, and 100% true. More than anything my frustration is with hiring and for some reason why people think we are completely dumb !! Having said that I will give it some more time as I have only been here for 4 years. For most of you coming for Europe this maybe a mediocre experience, coming from my country in the state it’s in Canada is still miles ahead. I just wish people were more upfront like you guys, great example for myself is the fact that I worked for a multinational which is fully operational in Canada, they have spent thousands of dollars on my training when I worked for them but their not even open to having a chat with me to hire for a job that was 2 levels below me when I was working in Asia. Anyway as you say “it is what is it” \n\nOn multiculturalism as much as they hire you for a diversity photo on the annual report they hate it, and I have travelled to many places in my life, the only place in Canada that I feel is proper Canada is Montreal.. I would just say that your first point about cities being way safer depends on where in Canada you live. We don’t have anything as bad as Detroit or Chicago in Canada, but we have some bad cities. You guys are from out East but in central and western Canada there are places you wouldn’t want to be out after dark. When I stayed in Prince Albert the hotel attendant warned me not to leave the hotel after dark. I did anyways and walked to a pizza place only 5 blocks away. On the way back I had a group attempt to swarm me and had to sprint back. Same goes for areas of Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Regina etc… there are tons of low income reserves around these places and they tend to dump their undesirables on to the cities

Ive been to Greece, Ireland, England and Scotland. I will agree that tap water and food is alot healthier abroad than in the states. Public transit sucks in most American cities. There are trains EVERYWHERE in the UK. You can walk a block and see a train there. But the sprawl here is the problem so you mentioned that. I will say Americans are friendlier to tourists than most foreigners, but most Americans are really mean when they travel abroad, so I guess that would balance out. The cost of living argument is hard to agree with, but I wasn't there during the rent hikes, I came back from UK right before they happened. I've heard inflation everywhere is bad, but maybe not in Canada. Love your guys' videos. Keep it up. I always show these to my girlfriend to start discussion/find common ground, and they have not once NOT worked, so well done.

Have you guys tried any restaurants in the US that’s not a chain restaurant? That seems like all you mentioned. Next time you in DMV, go to Georgetown and eat, or Penn quarters, or 16th street and try great restaurants. Expand your palate. Preached mentioned two cities to say US women are hard.
