Now memory came back to me when I was in Vancouver for 3 days and enjoyed my time over Canada in 2015 for a concert, Canada was the first country I've visited outside of the United States I'll never for get it the people where amazing very polite there was a moment in my life that I wanted to move to Canada now thinking over my decision after some years later I'm glad I didn't. I can't believe how bad it has gotten I'm now sure its gotten worse now. Respect your decision I glad to see your doing it, I would love to experience life for us... we only live once it'll be amazing for anyone do what you are doing, I have been thinking of going over doing content about traveling because it is about the journey and if for some reason If I like then.... go for it! Very surprised at the comments… shes leaving bc her buisness isnt successful online in a country that taxes them. Many countries dont tax businesses income in this way?? . Ppl here keep trying to call non jobs jobs. A fulltime or pt, all supporting financially, get to make my own hours and only work more when they decide. Etc. Another issue not mentioned here is the discrimination highly skilled professionals face when it comes career advancement.\nI know some very good professionals (different fields) that already left or are planning to leave Germany because they are tired to deliver more than 100% at work and always being overlooked for promotions or salary raises, while the native employees receive all these by doing the bare minimum. Or being offered jobs below one’s expertise and ending up doing the work for a native manager that qualifies mostly by nationality.\nAll this DE&I is all talk and targeted to a specific minority, while the other forms of discrimination are ignored and the majority of managed roles are filled by natives (who’s wok is done by not-good-enough immigrants).\nAt some point you get tired….\nYes, the public services work fairly good, but this country seems zombified….

Many of the problems you mentioned in the video could be slowly fixed by a better government. Canada certainly needs change, but it has potential very few countries have. We have pretty much every natural resources in abundance. There are many smart and well educated people here. All we need is good leadership i think.

One only has to look at Western Europe to see the effects of unchecked immigration, with the unrest in the UK being a prime example. \nYou simply can't keep inviting those without sufficient resources, while you have present citizens living on your streets because of a lack of housing\nIt's also nothing to be ashamed of for putting putting fellow citizens first, ahead of migrants, who may or may not share your countries values, not to mention culture.

I so understand! My husband and I have been nomading for the last 12 years and are now getting tired of constantly moving. We've decided to settle in Spain for now. Got a visa for three years. But we still don't know where to actually live long term. We can't afford to live in the US anymore. Not only housing, but the basic expenses like clothing, groceries, car and gas not to mention healthcare, which is prohibitively expensive to even only pay for insurance alone. \nWe have been priced out even though we always thought of ourselves as middleclass, professionals. Luckily my husband can work remotely.

From your travels and your excitement level about some countries, even repeated visits for some, I think I know with some bold confidence. But I won't jinx it for you to even mention, it might not be, who knows. Wait with bated breath for your ans in a few mths' time. :)

There should be a section dedicated to housing crisis in German cities, because it's something that’s affecting internationals even more than locals. They mentioned it briefly, but this deserves more coverage.

Precisely because of the reasons mentioned at the end of the report, plus the number of people leaving for greener pastures more than doubled after 2015. Look up the BKA statistics if it hasn't dawned on you yet. Poland and Czechia are MUCH safer now than Germany. \n\nThe other thing that should have been mentioned are those tens of thousands of young Germans who don't aspire to learn a trade or get higher education. They aspire to nothing. I believe it's some 60K people yearly. That's a lot.\n\nAnd finally, despite all that massive influx of people since 2015, how come there is still a lack of workers? I'm genuinely interested in the employment rate among ppl who arrived in the 2015 wave and onwards. Even though German politicians of the currently ruling parties would never admit that the generous social benefits are a great pull factor for immigration, it's not hard to conceive, this is everday reality. \n\nIn conclusion, one could say that Germany is deterring the capable and attracting the incapable. I'm really ashamed of my country of how bad we are at welcoming you (who we so desperately need), while at the same time being unable to cope with unskilled workers as a result of illegal immigration and abuse of the welfare system. I can understand everyone migrating to Switzerland that successfully supports skilled workers. I witnessed everything mentioned in this post personally, due to working in a large multinational corporation.

More economic growth fuelled by slavery/ immigration has been the method of expansionist capitalism , keep wages low, demands high and prices high and don't mention the negative externalities, e.g. overshooting planetary boundaries. The fixation the economic growth must continue is detrimental to planetary systems health. Nowhere on this planet needs more people.

The specific cases mentionned have absolutely nothing to do with immigration laws. You clearly have an agenda and poor argumentation. Anybody can enter Canada with a valid passport and clean background. What happens next is definitely not related to the immigration process.

I am a Filipino nurse and i am single. I've been working here since 2017. It's like i am not having that much or should i say enough. I am spending almost half of my salary just for monthly rent and common necessities. The living cost here are high and the wages are low and not mentioning the number of taxes that will drain you. But what i don't undertsand most is Germany currently rank as 3rd largest economy but it's not even included in Top 10 nations with highest salary for nurses. Now i recently passed the NCLEX exam for the US, and i know it's not just me there's a lot of us who's in the same boat and YES,..maybe it is time to leave Germany soon..

I moved to Munich from Warsaw 2 years ago. Munich is nice, safe and clean, but also a bit boring. The wages are high, but so are the rents and groceries (not mentioning services). Soo in my field of work Im not saving more money than back home (lower wages but also lower rents). And a huuuge downside here is - I will never be able to afford to buy real estate here. Back in Poland that's still accessible (even though less and less..). So all in all I think I will be moving back in a couple of years to settle down back in Poland, on my own piece of land, in my own house. Ideally, my german employer will allow my to still work for them, remotely. But if that's not the case, then I will look elsewhere.\nOne more thing - If the german gov. would subsidize langueage lessons, I would totally take advantage of that.. and maybe stayed here longer.

Adapatability for people has to be from both Germans and immigrants. But as you mentioned despite Germany need skilled workers the companies are not ready to adapt new changes. Despite immigrants pay all the taxes yet it is difficult to survive. So what's the point for immigrants to choose germany ?

40 to 50 hours a week? I work that in Australia as an Australian. Indian universities aren't necessarily recognised overseas. Even then I've worked with many as engineers and got uber rides from many just as an example. Different cultural system. This is just my personal experience. \n\nYou have to remember that India has been studied as on of the most intolerant countries in the world. I've never got that impression from the majority of other nationalities I've worked with. You can look up the worldwide studies that rank India so high for intolerance easily. It has to stop or there will be civil war and chaos. Yeah it´s nice to be compassionate\nbut you have to be able to afford it. And when you can´t find affordable housing, the\ngroceries get more expensive every week and your society is overburdened with the\nfinancial and societal costs of immigration (welfare, social housing, overtaxed schools\nand hospitals not to mention crime) it will break the system.

im a turkish immigrant, moved to canada with my family 1998, it was a totally new world, amazing country, freedom, amazing economy, basically fun to live, i had best times of my life, however last year left canada for thailand. thailand is cheap fun to live and has amazing night life. Stop immigration (legal or illegal) for now. The country is not ready for more people coming in regardless of what way (work visa, student visa, etc.). This should include assylum and refugees coming here by the legions. Many are not legitimate refugees but are deceiving the system. Ottawa is footing the bill for their hotel accommodations (yes, hotel!), food, etc. This is not mentioned on this video.

I love how he mentions in the end about the housing crisis but does not address it. Housing has become unaffordable for most new homeowners yet we got all these landlords stocking up on more properties just to make more money for themselves. Yes laws need to be changed so tenants can't abuse it, but laws also needs to be changed so people aren't owning multiple homes while rest can't even afford a primary residence. I don't like going into bidding wars to purchase my first property when the people I am bidding against already own multiple properties.

Renting is the worst business in Canada. And the Toronto, Ontario and Canada Governements wonder why there is shortage of rental accommodations. I can easily accommodate one family in my home. But I know if there is an epidemic like Covid and the tenant does not pay the rent, I will be screwed. And rather than have a plan that can enable a tenant own a home, the Governments mentioned have plans that will make the landlord bankrupt and become a tenant! The tenancy laws are bad, bad, bad!

Not to mention that Canadians have per capita one of the highest carbon footprints in the world. This is due to the extreme cold in the winter months. Most, if not all of the immigrants are moving from countries with much warmer climates and far lower carbon footprints. This shows clearly that the Canadian government is full of cow dung whenever they spout off on climate change goals.

They're welfare shopping and Vice is ignoring the root cause; illegal immigration. They just want a better life, and I understand that, but they keep backing corrupt governments and religion. And they are refugees from their own countries because those countries can't manage themselves. The West, mostly considered an enemy to these countries, is not responsible for the welfare of people who are gaming the system with no intention and / or ability to assimilate into Western society. Instead, they actively work to change them from within to suit their religions and agendas. Not to mention the spike in crime from too much immigration. I applaud Western countries for protecting their cultures and their borders.

Immigration has become an epically pivotal subject globally and yet it’s presented as a source of political ideology oppose to basic human dignity that without the promise of greener pastures where someone can start over and experience what other people experience, their greeted by border barb wire and intolerance, deportation, not to mention the perils of traveling choppy waters on insufficient crafts. You make zero mention about how developers and investment owners are given useless perimeters about what to build (they’re mostly all building unaffordable luxury condos, even before materials and labour were so high) and zero restrictions on shockingly greedy rental pricing. Airbnbs are also still a problem even with revised rules. The issue is with our City Halls and their ineptitude. After watching your video u have some point. But since 2020 Canada donated to much money to Ukraine and also getting immigrants. Maybe you don’t know but Canada give the free visa to them and paying for the hotels. I also want to mention that Canada is not exporting much to other countries if you check you going to find out more. All the companies you showed they are in USA Canada don’t have them so.
