Canada will be full of latino bullet holes if you let more of these people coming into the country.Not necessarily coming from them but from those who are hunting for them from their countries of origin.

I have always wondered, why people think Canada is some kind of utopia? It is just another country full of people and people are assholes.

Before that can happen though we need to reign in our social welfare. I am sure that will discourage a few people from coming but we can't subsidize an immigrant's work or anyone's work for that matter. \nAnother is that if your country is full of violent gangs, or a tyrannical leader, or a socialist nation than maybe you should stay and try to fix the place. \nIf you are not willing to defend freedom, why should we defend and die for your freedoms?

The issue is that the intending migrants and the general public are ignorant as to asylum law. The public think of asylum as some far reaching, grandiose humanitarian gesture- when the truth is that asylum laws provide an EXTREMELY LIMITED basis of relief. \n\nMerely coming from a dangerous country is NOT enough to win asylum, in the U.S. or Canada. A person must prove they are specifically persecuted, by the GOVERNMENT, because of some specific basis. A Central American claiming Central America is full of gangs and poverty, while true, is NOT a basis for asylum. This is why it's my personal belief that the thousands of Haitians making a run for the Canadian border have an almost zero chance of receiving asylum- ESPECIALLY after NOT living in Haiti for many years. \n\nIn spite of this, migrants still make these claims because it forces the country to go through a time consuming legal process, and is a way to buy time and prevent their deportation. Or perhaps allow them time to find a local job, continue their education, or have a child born in the country and then make a humanitarian argument to allow them to stay, even after losing their asylum case. \n\nThe truth is, unless a country holds asylum seekers in detention for the entirety of the process, it's a given that failed asylum seekers will NOT return to their country of origin, and will simply go underground.

Getting a visa or any form of legal residence in Canada is a pain in the ass, I know because I've tried. I was gonna move up there full time from Los Angeles at one point and I spent 10 full months applying and waiting and still got denied. I wasn't even a refugee either, they make you prove what you have to contribute to the country as far as skills and education and it's very difficult to get accepted

Let's put it another way... I was born in Canada and I had moved abroad at 30 for work and was gone for about 10 years. When I got back, it happened to be the same year our PM was waiting at the airport for the arrival of some refugees with winter coats for them and their Medicare cards, as well as housing provided for them. I had to run around for a full month trying to get my drivers license renewed since it had expired, and had to wait a full 6 months to get a probationary Medicare card, p-r-o-b-a-t-i-o-n-a-r-y....I felt outraged. I am not saying that many don't have a valid reason to flee their country, but when they know that they will receive housing and cash, of course people will flock to Canada, even if they aren't fleeing something.

It is only thieves and criminals that hide their identity by covering up their face. Why don't they go back to their country and practice full Islam. Please don't let them destroy ur country.

I was raised in Canada and lived in America for 3 years, this was around the time Hurrincane Katrina hit. I miss living in Houston, but wouldn't change for the world. I love it here in Toronto. The guy made good points about the obvious differences between the neighboring countries. I'm full of Texas pride, but Canada rocks!!!

All people who do not assimilate must be deported. As well as just stop immigration of Muslims all together. We are at full war. The people who controlled our countries back in WW2 understood that the citizens were number one priority and stopped all immigration of any ethnic background like Germans and Japanese. \n\nBut not all citizens were protected like the Japanese Canadians Americans and so on. The governments back then were very strict and careful. And did they have as much deaths of terrorism? People real Islam is not a religion of peace! Read the Koran and you will see! It's true that most Muslims are peaceful,but most Muslims like Christians follow the traditions of their Mosque or Church but do not follow the full letter of the Koran or Bible. True Koran believing Muslims who follow the full letter of the word of the Koran are violent and are not tolerant of other religions. they are a threat to any civilized society! Christianity is a religion of love and peace,a religion who's member are full of a holy,righteous spirit and compassion for their fellow man. The women said they are not enforced to wear the niqab or burka, if it so, is not mandatory and there is anything to do with their religion why to wear it ? why do not they embrace our culture, they can keep their faith in their heart and their home , no one cares. Do they use it to be distinguished as muslim women from non-muslim women, so then muslim men can just harm the non muslim, as it says it is been done in other countries as in Sweden when they raped non muslims women? Then why are they forced to use it in their countries and punished even killed for not using it? The niqab , I did not care they use it unless it does not harm anyone but now that as been said they using it to distinguish women it borrows me, the full burka is too extreme if it is not mandatory so do not use it cause it just makes you apart from others Canadian women and it do not bring peace and no safety. If Islam is a peaceful religion , they should do everything they can to maintain the peace.

My experience in Canada has been largely positive, with only minimal racial difficulties.  As a teenager, I do recall some kids making blatantly racist comments, when I was the only minority in the room; but they were silly girls, popular and full of themselves, and most of the students who heard did not laugh with them. We all knew it was wrong.  Another time I was told, by an agent, that a potential employer claimed she would not hire me because of my race.  I did not hear these words firsthand, though, so it was impossible for me to verify the truth. In the end, I let the matter alone. Other people,  I realize, have endured severe injustices; such have not been my experience, but this does not subtract from their reality.  Indeed, racism does exist, and shall remain as long as there are imbeciles wallowing in the mire of ignorance, people who cling to an absurd sense of superiority for lack of something more meaningful to hold.  As well--and it must be said!--quite likely, we all have, at some point, entertained discriminatory thoughts. 'Tis not a 'black and white' problem but a human one, and we must be mindful of it beginning with ourselves.  Canada, then, with its many inhabitants and complex history, will never be the exception. We can't expect perfection among people, here or anywhere else in the world.  Even so,  I believe there are enough fellow Canadians who strive to treat people as individuals and are happy to make friends across cultures.  My life has been and continues to be a testament to that!  Whatever our troubles, we still retain a proud heritage of diversity and progressive ethnic harmony.  We do try, and for this reason I love my country.  I am deeply patriotic and immensely proud to be part of it!  

Its impossible for muslims to intergrate when the quran is full of hatred towards unbelievers. Sharia law is not compatible in any country on this earth. Muhammed their prophet was an evil man and muslims are told in the quran that is is the moral example for mankind. Murdering, sex slaves and marrying 6yr olds and having sex with her at 9yrs old is the example muhammed sets for muslims.
