The absurdity of Trumps balanced trade argument is that the USA is a wealthy country and he is projecting that wealth upon his trading partners when in reality the trading partners are not as affluent as Americans. They simply cannot afford to buy as many goods as the USA. To equalize trade requires more affluence in these trade partner countries, instead of crippling them with additional costs. Additionally Trump does not concede the difference between buying raw materials vs finished goods. When USA buys endless oil from Canada, and Canada does not buy enough cars from USA, you will have absolutely an unavoidable trade imbalance. Average GDP per Canadian is half the GPD of USA per person.

The only excuse to get into another country is when their motherland has war. It is sad to see this happening. This is why it is very important to have good leadership in every country . When your leaders failed to lead, that's what happened...

She had not gone to school beyond 5th grade and she had no ancestral property, not even a red brick in her ancestral home. \n\nMy mother’s visitor visa was rejected and to this day — I am in my 70s now — it hurts me that she was not present when I received my PhD at Berkeley, one of the top-rated int’l universities. They rejected her visitor visa probably because she had nothing to show as her assets in her application. \n\nBut later. with me getting a job here as a research engineer in a large corporation, my mother visited the US five times. \n\nNot only that, even my older brother and sister in law got a ten-year multiple entry visitor visa when the came for my daughters wedding. \n\nThe point I am trying to make to your mostly upper middle class internationally well connected viewers is that visas are ALWAYS a privilege, never a right, no matter how well placed and well connected in your home country. If your country is bad enough to make you want to flee, why do so? Every country has had to struggle. Even here in the US horrible things have happened to it's citizens. You cannot run from your problems. They must be solved, one way or another. The US had a civil war. It was horrible, though you could argue the outcome was good. If you live in a country, you have a duty to be a part of that country. Whether that means voting, partaking in social norms, etc., you are a part of that. It is not another country's problem if that turns out being bad. If the majority of a country installs or allows in one way or another a horrible governing party or group to run things, it is their fault and theirs alone. Like sticking your hand into a hot pan, there are consequences. This will get bad before it gets good. Hopefully it ends good.

Edward Snowden, while in boot camp, and correct me if I'm wrong but I think he was training as a Navy SEAL, hopped off his bunk and his shins that were already broken disconnected and threw him on the floor. After his surgeries and Rehabilitation he was allowed to return to training. And this was with two broken legs that took weeks to announce themselves by disconnecting and misaligning to the point he could no longer Walk and Run on them. If he can do that then somebody suffering through all the crap that they have to go to go through to become another gender and the hormone balance they have to maintain afterward and they can still do their job they can still get in the rain, they can still run an easy 10 before breakfast, with a full pack they can still Shoot Straight they can still command they can still follow they still love this country and want to uphold our Constitution and defend it against all enemies foreign and domestic, then they should be allowed to stay in the military. A physical and mental Fitness is all that's required then I'm going to say this officer qualifies.
