It’s not fair! If a person comes to America legally on a student or marriage visa, their parents have to pay everything to bring them here, and those individuals cannot receive government assistance for five years. However, if someone comes here illegally, they are given free housing, cars, money, healthcare, food stamps, and other benefits. We need those resources for our own citizens, as our country is already struggling. If you can’t come legally, please stay in your country.

There are enough Indians all over Europe, Americas and Australia. Many of them specially in the USA and Canada are illegal in high numbers. In Canada and USA, Indians have ruined their own reputation by getting involved into fraud activities, breaking laws of the host countries by bringing people from India and making them work illegally. So, naturally, the rejection rates are much higher for tourist visa and not for business visas as such. The solution is India should build infrastructure inside the country so that people don't need to rush abroad for a better life. Equality doesn't mean providing access to anyone who can potentially misuse the resource of a country.

These are east Indians coming from the UK. They had US visas from the UK. What is Canada to do when they are in transit passengers from the UK and given fake or real but seems fake US visas. All international intransit passengers dont go through customs at their stop over country. Its an international fact. The East indians knew that if they boarded their flight to the US they would get sent back to the UK and hence India so they decided to illegally cross our border. I worked as a nurse in Florida when I first graduated. It was devastating to see how stressed people were about being hospitalized because they knew how their life finances were going to be wiped out. In Contrast Canadian patients only need to concentrate on being well again. \nWomens rights are being rapidly eroded in America. Childbirth is covered in Canada,abortions are legal and women get 1 year of paid maternity leave.\nOur children don’t have to participate in active shooter drills because of our tight gun laws. Our taxes are higher but the social networks are covered by these taxes. \nThe Canadian way of life is generally ,slower and ,I find, more accepting of immigrants, LGBTQ folks, and marginalized people.\nPersonally I moved back to Canada because I missed the change of seasons and the slower pace. I enjoyed my time living in America and have many fond memories of the time I spent there.Moving back to Canada was the right move for me

The misinterpretation of laws are in direct conflict with early emigration laws in America particularly ‘The Emigration’ Act of 1866 and also naturalization act of 1790 if people keep going back in time using past laws to justify this the more it confuses things. All I know is the intent of the laws need to be accurately interpreted so that it’s clear who they were meant for when they were written because from the way I read and interpret them there is nothing that directly allows for the offspring of illegal and undocumented parents to be granted automatic citizenship. Especially since this is happening while our country actually has immigration laws and a process for them to follow. Some where where in our ‘politics’ this has gotten all screwed up and definitely needs to be fixed.

So while people tend to equate your democrats to our liberals or our NDP , and equate your republicans to our conservatives. It’s just not accurate. If you throw our span of parties and American span of parties on the SAME spectrum /polarity line. You might be surprised to realize how shifted left our systems range politically is from the American one. \n\nThis hugely impacts the average normal expectation , what we clutch our pearls at hearing coming out of the mouths of the general public , and our range of what we expect to not hear or see ranted about unless they’re to our view , extremely right leaning politically /social values. \n\nFor us this means that actually genuinely , a lot of America does get experiences by us as bat shit crazy racist homophobic immigrant intolerant culturally and religiously ignorant , and somewhat backwards in larger or smaller amounts ?
