Somebody needs to tell donald, the disgraced, soon to be impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors, soon to be former president, the never to be premier of America which is the soon to be 11th province of Canada by way of unanimous consent of the American public... The only thing that is important to him is revenge no matter what the cost. Besides, when Trudeau visited the Whitehouse, Melania gave him googly eyes and melted in his presence. Let's face it donald, you can never come close to ever being the man our Prime Minister is as much as I dislike Trudeau and are glade to see him gone.

People are boycotting U.S. goods en masse and cancelling travel plans, etc. and this is already having a strong effect.\n\n Some say turn off the electricity and oil, but who will pay price? It will be the businesses and employees, not the politicians who are now trying to act tough. If we want this to turn into a real kinetic war, then turning off the taps may do it. \n\n We have seen countless times where politicians tell us what we want to hear, making us think they are heading is a certain direction, only to find they do the exact opposite. This proves you can not believe what career politicians say and have to go by what they do, or don’t do, instead. Yet now, they confidently declare that Canada will never become the 51st state. This should raise eyebrows. \n\n Almost all of the MPs and Premiers are unanimous in entering into a trade war we can not win. When you ALREADY have tariffs in place against the US you cannot claim Trump is starting a trade war. You started it. Now we have a POTUS with the sand to stand up for us not the world. Republicans understand that things will get tough. Liberals are already snow flakes that were in a melt down from the day Trump took office. We voted them out. I don't think Canadians are going to tolerate much for long unless you open the Treasury and give them money thereby bankrupting them. Drop your tariffs and Trump will drop yours. Is a win win.

Fentanyl seizures going “into” the US from Canada is now so low is almost non-existent. Meanwhile Canada just seized 8.5 tonnes of cocaine going “from” the US into Canada just this week. Congratulations Mr. Trudeau, you finally sound like our Prime Minister should. Now start making this country self sufficient so we don't have to rely on anyone. No more selling off our Crown corporations our land and other businesses to foreign countries. Keep Canada Canadian and give jobs to born Canadians first. Stock pile our oil and gas for our use and lower the prices of these things so that transportation cost make things easier for business and personal enjoyment. You know… I couldn’t really afford to buy food and survive before the tariffs anyways. That’s why I’m getting sicker and not better. Seniors and disabled Canadians couldn’t survive on $400 or less a month, with regular pricing. Tariffs are only going to make more apparent what was already there, and give politicians a scapegoat, now that they’re forced to pay attention to poverty. Kind of like how Covid became the scapegoat for negligent and non existent health care.

Ah yes, the trade war that Canada will surely lose. I love Canada. Wouldn't trade it for the world, but this is a losing battle by which citizens on both sides will feel the full effect. Trump appeasing Putin is a chess move, that the PM seems to be overlooking. The US can't afford to go to war with Russia, but at the same time, it needs resources within Russia's neighboring region. So the US will do what they always do, and had people listened to what Kissinger had to say, they'd be better prepared for this. Nonetheless, let's stand proud and strong, and come together as Canadians in order to get through this.
