The problem is that often times due to religious practices, a lot of people from minority communities are targeted and have to undergo a lot of scruitiny. Sikhs are amongst the most kind and generous people in the world, apart from being brave, sure this world makes a joke out of them but it is important for people to understand that our religion is important to us, we do follow the rules and regulations laid down by the country but others too have to respect who we are and where we come from, it might seem odd to carry around a kirpan but then again that is no reason to violate someone like this, or their religion's sancitity.

As an Indian i think it's fault of indian guy too.. you are supposed to be good to neighbours. We should learn etiquettes of a country and i must say that in general we need to adapt to them ..and as immigrants we are working in theri country so let's respect and appreciate them . Hello I am an Indian planning to migrate abroad and my primary targets are Australia and Canada and after watching this video I am inclined toward Canada but I researched thoroughly and found that moving to Canada is very tough especially for a person like me who has done a Bachelor of science with physics as my core subject but doesn't have any skills other than my Bachelor's degree. It’s hard to miss our crazy family. We have three children under 12 years. One must try to engage others. You cannot blame others for a lack of social interaction if you yourself do not try. Do not think that you will get best friends just from talking to some one. Most people want to *feel* they can trust you. Be yourself. Whomever you are. Do not pretend to be anything you are not. While being fake can get you somewhere, it’s still fake. Plenty of people here in the US are fake. You have to find *your* people. It takes time and energy.

My friend, it depends on what you want out of your time in US. If you want outdoor life, there is plenty of it here, you just have to know what to do and where to go. If you have been indoors for 10 days and only gone out twice, then that tells a lot about your own self, not being an outdoor person. There are parks, lakes, amusements, beaches. There are facilities for hiking, walking, cycling, etc. I really think that you have not been exposed or you have not explored what is available here for outdoor fun. In the western world you can take your family out camping in the forest with the assurance that you will come back home safely. You can take your boat down to the lake for a day of fun with no problem. If you lived in most parts of Africa, and bought a boat, and started going to the river or lakes in the weekend, then the police commissioner, or military person who lives close to you will fabricate a reason to intimidate you and confiscate it. What I mean is in Africa, you run the risk of becoming a target once people see that you are an ordinary citizens who is doing well. Here, not like that.\n\nJust be happy that you are here and make the most of it. While you were in Africa, you dreamt about coming to America, now that you are here, all you want is to recreate Africa here. If Africa was good enough, no African will want to be here.

I am preparing to run away from Canada mainly because of hidden crime rate that is disastrously high (government targeting of innocent citizens), theft, racism and discrimination. Also Canadian companies do not like forigners to take their jobs and keep everything secret at work place. So new comers will be doing very low-brain kind of job. I was able to jump to very high levels in my profession and was training engineers and managers on electronic industry - even though they still dont want me to learn everything. So going back main homeland I can be more expert than them all. To me, Canada realy sucks.

Americans have a much warmer weather all year around, in Canada its freezing most of the year and only get 3 ~ 4 months of warm weather.\n9. My heart goes out to him. I was a refugee as a young child. I knew nothing about the legal meaning of my circumstances. But over the years, I have gleaned the fact that refugee status has specific legal boundaries. These legal specificities are not determined by any one country. They are determined by international law. You need to be persecuted. Specifically targeted. As a person. Or as a member of a targeted group. A good approach would be to enforce the laws that the state follows, in this case harassment. Treating harassers like any harasser would be treated. I don't think targeting specific groups is a good approach. Because when you do that you generalize and punish innocent people also. Attempt to make the laws fair and are capable of being implemented to every offender equally.
