Calling illegal immigrants just migrants is like calling Japanese sex offenders just Japanese. While technically they are Japanese, but would you say “let’s throw the Japanese in jail?” Sounds wrong doesn’t it.

I am Québécois, and things here are quite different from the rest of Canada. For example, we have a law here that clearly forbids wearing religious signs when in a position of authority. Even a teacher, because they are a figure of authority for their students, could not wear the Roman collar, a cassock, a hijab, a niqab or anything else of the sort while in school. In the streets or any other public place, there is no problem at all. Everyone is welcomed to express their difference of culture or religion in the way they dress or in whatever other way. They are treated with the same respect and kindness as anywhere else in Canada. It is only that the separation of religion and state, and religion and authority is paramount here. Everybody is free and can express themsleves freely. But don't use that freedom to impose your views onto others. \nSo, when American judges are chosen for the federal court specifically because of their christian fundamentalist biases, it doesn't resonate well at all for me or the majority of Québécois. When the rights of the LGBTQ+ community are being questioned or jeopardised. Or a previous federal judgement like Roe v Wade is being overturned for religious reasons... it is a definite turn off for all of the Québec people to even remotely consider the United States as a destination to emigrate to (supposing that one would want to leave our beautiful country).\nMore and more, America, that used to be recognized as the land of the free, appears to be retrograde and restrictive and definitely not so free.

At my son's school during the drop-off rush in the morning, Indian parents would always, I mean literally always, as in everyday, they would stop in the middle of the street so that the wife can help their child get off their car, all while blocking traffic. In doing so, their child will not be late, but making all the other cars' children behind them late. I witness this first hand, everyday. It's like they had an exclusive Indian meeting, all agreeing to do this during the drop-off rush. It's so annoying. If we honk at them for doing this, they would cause a scene and would call us rude and racist. When all they have to do is simply follow traffic rules and regulations so that all parents can smoothly drop off their kids on time.

Just within the past two weeks FEMA spent over $500 million to provide luxury hotels for illegal immigrants yet a few weeks ago they were still claiming that they didn’t have enough money to help American citizens who suffered catastrophic loss during recent hurricanes and wildfires. The simple fact that Democrats got more upset that Elon Musk bought Twitter than they are, that their own political party in government for the past four years, has literally been holding them at gunpoint and forcing them to pay taxes so that they could steal it or launder it into their own campaigns and pockets is literally disturbing! WTF!!!! If any of those other federal agencies are ran or funded the way U.S. AID were, with the massive corruption, misappropriation, fraud and theft of taxpayer funds, then I hope DODGE goes through an completely audits, every single federal agency in the United States. I'm from Brazil, living in Brazil, and would like to understand why the drug crises happened in Canada? Because everyone complain but not explain the real cause.
