Part of me feels bad for them because of all the stories of how bad it is south of the border but the other more realistic part of me knows that a large influx of immigrants like this would be catastrophic to the local housing markets wherever they end up. People cant even really afford housing these days because of how high the rates are now. \n\nFor fresh immigrants like this.... Unless they already had family in the states, they would be living on the streets instead unless they found a place to live.

I am descendant of Latinos, and I do not agree with this administration has caused. I met someone in a Walmart parking lot from Venezuela. He had been here in Atlanta for 10 days and didn’t know anyone. He told me he came to the US because Biden promised all Venezuelans asylum and therefore be legalized in the US. So I genuinely asked him how his country was, and he said that things were very difficult; not being able to afford basic things, so then I said “well, I’m sure that is the result of the presidents decisions, most precisely socialism/communism,” I thought he was going to agree and he said “no, our president and former president had good ideas and plans.” My point is that all of these people coming from Venezuelan are fleeing their country because of the negative situation that sadly is taking place in their country, however their mindsets have been corrupted by thinking they deserve to have “free” things. All of these ppl will be legalized and they will be able to vote very soon, so these ppl will vote democrat because they were given this opportunity by Biden. This is a very demonic man by the left, and sadly this will cause a lot negative results to the US. It’s too late to revert this, soon we will see the negative consequences of what this administration is causing to this country ?

That’s because most Americans have NEVER experienced immigration issues at the border, or been separated from their kids by border security guards, so they don’t know how these people are feeling because they’ve never been in that situation or walked in their shoes. McDonalds something most American people know …for one person only it can be around 15 - 20 bucks, in Venezuela, and I think minimum wage rn is around 6.15 bucks and if it’s good it can be around 20 - 30 A MONTH, now apply this formula to EVERYTHING, housing, bills, expenses and I think things in Venezuela for a little bit better not that long ago,so it was worst than what I just told you, imagine you finish college you have somehow of a decent life and for things you don’t understand and no one advise you of, next week your job, money is not even half of the value it had last week, imagine if it was you and your family, your kids…I don’t have kids but I know my mom would’ve done anything for trying and give me not even a luxurious life, but a kinda decent life, and I know most of people would’ve done the same, and not only for your kids, also your mom, dad, sisters, brothers and even YOURSELF…again, I’m not saying this is correct or it’s not I’m just saying at the end our surrounding make us do whatever we are doing….I get you not being okay with this, but try to be comprensible and not go straight into hate for this people. \n\nUnfortunately I wouldn’t imagine anything to solve this problem and I hope something better comes for the entire world right now …but I just doubt it…

Latin here, I came here legally but I can tell you that it was difficult as hell for my mom to bring me here, it took money and years for that, but I want you as a fellow citizen to understand their situation first, in Latin America you could be graduation from college and even with that having a good job it’s difficult sometimes, unlike here education in Latin America is not always something that all people can get and every time they vote for someone it becomes more trashier, housing for the poor doesn’t even exist, half of the country is corrupt and going outside you don’t who you may find, my brother needs to wait 7 years to become a resident (not citizen) he will be 30 something at that point, what the government should do is make the residency easier and I can tell you something like this wouldn’t occur that easily, my mom is a lawyer in my country and I can tell you the situation wasn’t easy, every three times a week there would be shooting outside my house, drug dealer was my neighbor, and at the age of 15 there would parents of two kids the sad part all this is normal, stopping it is imposible because it gets you kill, the police will kill you for doing a peaceful protest just to stop feminicide, wanting your kid to go outside without being scare something would happen to them, this people want peace and a job that is it and when your own country doesn’t even give you the right for that how could you live? Latin America is like living in the worst state in U.S multiply by 1000 and happening the same thing every day, riots or protest are imposible there because you know the police will never go the peaceful way, what this people are doing is wrong but they just want to live, it even surprise how much people hate their president here when in Latin America there hasn’t been any good president in decades. I came to the states when I was little unfortunately I had to start working I was 15 I worked in a restaurant so i could support my sick mother in my country then I learned English and moved into a different job I never had the opportunity to go to the school since Noone would supported me !! I fall in love with some US girls we have 2 kids she worked sometimes I never pushed her to do so ! I tried to fix papers but the lawyers took my money and never did nothing about it ! I got into a traffic incident I got a ticked and fine once I payed off I get caught and sent back to a place I should call home !! I don't know nobody here don't know the place anymore !! dangerous people crazy !! my kids abandoned in the states now probably their mother asking for help to the government? who knows the last thing I heard is she was selling what it used to be our properties! I don't have contact with my kids anymore ! is horrible then we have this people just going there and getting asylum??? not fare!

There are many reasons and many who problems. You can’t just narrow this down to 1 of anything. One problem is for decades children were brought up to believe that when they turn 18 or 21 or when they get a full time job or graduate college it’s time to leave the nest . Why? So you can live the life of a bachelor or bachelorett? Party all night or get drunk and do most things you wouldn’t want your parents to know about. Pay outrageous rental fees for some place you’ll never own. Go into debt and in many cases spend years paying off student loans. Yeah, sounds like a good time. The habit should be if parents have room, stay home, save your money and allow your parents to help build that generational wealth. Pay a small rent to help out a little if you want to and your parents accept it. Some people , if they can marry and stay with their family, at least for a few years. This builds a stronger bond with parents and grandparents. The way the last 40 or 50 years has gone has destroyed family and their are many reasons why. Some of the European traditions are smart and we should never have turned away from them

In Ontario Canada the healthcare industry is heavily marred in black racism! My sister was a Director of Care at 3 different long term care facilities over the last 9 years. The racism she felt was so bad that the WS are willing to destroy the reputation of the long term care facility and their own careers just do they could oppress my sister. My sister beat them all as she left the long term care and is now a pediatric consultant while the last place she left is now in chaos. Every long term care job she had the WS were getting her to do all of their work to a point where they did not know how to recover when my sister eventually left. Every long term care facility paid the heavy price when my sister walked out. I could make a video on this issue it’s so wicked the racism. At least my sister beat them all she is so smart. ??

As a Venezuelan who migrated and still travels in the proper ways I can surely say many there want true help. Venezuela is insane compared to what you people even live whit, best work you can get there will make you up to 90-120 bucks a month, no food in supermarkets, some insanely expensive which will make you choose between buy bread or tuna and rice for a whole month ( imagine not being able to eat your favorite meats or prefered food FOR MONTHS, EVEN SOME YEARS) , if you are a professional or educated of course the opportunity grows up but not in a socialist country. as we know you can be a socialist in a capitalist system but not the opposite and this is a fact. Those people are genuinely scared with no home back in their country as for many houses and private properties have been removed with force, some of you sure will be wondering how or why not to follow the main curse to migrate? I had to spend 3 days sleeping on a huge queue with many other people also sleeping in the streets to get our passport(that's was the easy part, 4 years to get the date to finally get that fucker passport.), something so simply done in other countries which such ease, not to mention the whole cost for a passport (I knew people who paid aroundn 700usd to get it asap). \n\nPlease don't pitty these people nor hate on any inmigrants, some families there really wish for a future, and again as someone who had the opportunity to do my papers. We do not wish this upon no body. Can someone tell me if Canada is a good place to move for a couple of years? I'm from the UK but lived in Spain for most of my life. The reason I want to leave Spain is because the average salary is low and job security I.E work contracts are all terrible unless you're in a big city like Madrid or Barcelona. Plus I live in a tourist/ retired destination so work here is seasonal as we are only busy over the summer time and trying to meet people around my age 20, 30s is difficult. I've heard so many good things about Canada from people I know but looking into some more I'm seeing that there's a big financial issue for those who plan to move over as the taxes are very high. I'm just looking to come over for a couple of years, save some money and then move back to the UK. If anyone that has travelled to Canada for a few years could let me know what its like now that would be great ?.

I'm Canadian, born and raised. I feel disenfranchised and disconnected from my country. With the economic issues mentioned, I also feel like Canada doesn't have a culture or a proper identity. I don't know what being Canadian is, but it feels like it's just watered-down American culture.\n\nI've been slaving away the past few years in hopes of getting out of this place. I can fully relate and agree with everything you said and more not said. I never thought I would hate being Canadian or my home country but Justin pushed me past the line. Man, I really do love everyone who is currently in office for our government at the moment. I just love letting any & everyone into our country, not to mention the cost of groceries & gas is amazing too! I absolutely love paying almost $7.00 just for a gallon of milk. It also just makes me think about such better times that were...... I don't know, like three fucking years ago! When the average American could afford to buy groceries & gas, and any other essential as needed. \n\nNow we will find housing for all of the people illegally entering our country, while we have more than enough Veterans sleeping on the street, & not to mention that 22 Veterans a day kill them selves on average. But MS-13 gang member and Mexican Cartel members deserve a nice place to live, hopefully they don't cut off anyone's head during their stay! ?\n\nBut, anyways....This current regime deserves nothing but praise! Did you know that Cuban officials run an expensive airline service to Nicaragua that is the only path out of the country on the highway to the US. I am usually very much against war... but gosh darn if we could just take out true tyrants without invading the whole place, it might in some rare circumstances be a gift rather than a grift.

I came here as a refugee from the Bosnian war when I was a little girl, I know all these people want is a safer place to raise their kids, and steady employment (they will take the jobs Americans are picky about any day!) I barely see Americans at the warehouses I’ve worked at.
