Let’s get this clear - This is not about hurting Canada with Tariff. This is all part of Trump’s plan to create panic, confusion and frustration to the American people to make us weak so he can sell us to PUTIN. The tariff to Canada, Mexico and China; his immigration racist decisions to target Latinos; the way he and Vance attacked to president Zaleski and firing federal employes is just ALL Part of a plan to create confusion, so while we scratch our head, he allied with PUTIN.

Canada, you do not have to explain anything! US citizens know you all are our allies and that you all are wonderful and we support you. We are not at all in agreement with this so-called president we have. You don't even have to explain. Imagine if Trudeau announced that he would be pausing the carbon tax on the Canadian people to help offset some of the costs imposed on us by the United States. The U.S. has zero credibility with it's historical allies right now. No country or it's leadership can take the U.S. at it's word in any treaties or trade deals with Donald Trump at the helm. Canada's biggest mistake is thinking America was ever an ally.

Is it possible that this is all about access to critical minerals - which Canada and Ukraine hav in abundance. America has form in creating a pretence to go to war to protect access to cheap oil. But in the past these wars were against arab nations and so the West found it easy to 'other' and accept the need for war. Now America under Trump is hoping to secure critical minerals (modern day oil) - but because they are allies he cant start an outright war. So hes doing it through trade. This is old form for America. When looked through this lense is not so difficult to understand. The big question is will the west allow him to bully western allies - democracies to be bullied into submission?
