If the government's worried about maintaining the same service standard maybe they should stop letting 500K people in every year. IMO, the border should be CLOSED until Canada gets a handle on the shortage of affordable housing and the pricing of housing in general comes back down to reality. Indians travelling abroad should also need to have basic common sense. These middle class needs to have attitude adjustment and also have the plans to come back after the visit. Do not take travel visa as some sort of right to stay back illegally. Vacations should be spend in the right way, you book a hotel, for an example, do not try to take the amenities provided by hotel for their guest as some sort of right to take away things. Because of a few, the whole nation gets its reputation tarnished. Please talk about these issues as well.

Palkhi as much as I like watching your news your views here need to address real issues. I am a proud Indian who has lived in the UK for over 50 years. However I have to say whilst there are a lot of highly skilled Indian immigrants on work visas who contribute immensely to this country. however we now have a huge community of Indians those who have come over on illegal documents or on holiday visas and then never go back. They end up working in menial jobs or not working at all and perhaps this is an issue India needs to address. Sadly these immigrants will never be an economically contributing asset to this country or any other country and I am not surprised that the visa rate rejection is so high.

Palki purposely chose to omit the fact that 99% of Indians apply for visa to the west with the intention of never returning back to their country. That’s why most countries are sceptical when it comes to issuing visa for Indian passport holders.

Improve trade and cut H4 visas for US as i have no idea on other countries. H4 visa housewives will really depressed in a country like US. because of depression crime rate will be more.? sometimes you wont have any indian friends near by even it has more indian immigrants. They are doing right thing. You go to submit any document at BLS which is unfortunately front offices of Indian embassies, you come back frustrated and angry. They are masters of finding faults, keep on changing required forms. It seems unrelated but I tell you support for India with Indian community is dwindling. We no longer write angry emails to politicians for rejection of visas to Indians.

These requirements by other countries are absolutely justified. They want you should come as visitors, have enough funds to cover your expenses and on due date go back to your country. \nNothing wrong in it.\nIndia should follow such standards before issuing visas.
