The poor people of Punjab take the jobs of Canadians and force them to leave Canada

Most are feeling quite entitled. My hat goes off to the young man who said they need to learn to assimilate and they are on a student visa. I am 110% Canadian meaning my heritage goes way back. I moved to Mississauga, On 13 years ago and just finally got a job of 16 hours a week in Home Care.\n\nHow many applications I sent to Wendy's, Walmart and Timmy's. The only people working in these jobs are Indians and Philipean'os. They take jobs away from Canadians but it is the government to blame.\n\nThey have no right to protest, they are not Canadian. They should be deported.

ya whatever need millions gone by end of year that would be the best Christmas present you could give Canadians our country be so much cleaner and peaceful and Canadians kids can start having a job. That they take from Canadians.

Unfortunately, I know several skilled workers with MScs and PhDs in STEM fields (e.g., Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Neuroscience, or Computer Science) who came to Canada not only to pursue their degrees but also to contribute to the country’s scientific and economic development. Many of these individuals, including myself, end up leaving. \n \nSome leave because of systemic issues in the PR system, which often prioritizes candidates with limited skills or questionable credentials over highly qualified individuals who have lived, studied, and worked in Canada for 5+ years. Others leave due to the high cost of living, challenges in accessing healthcare, or instability in the job market. \n \nThroughout my time in Canada, I’ve met genuinely kind and hardworking Canadians who are understandably frustrated with the current state of affairs. The policies implemented by this government have created significant challenges that may take years to resolve. Unfortunately, this risks leaving Canada with a workforce ill-equipped to meet future demands, while losing both talented Canadians and highly skilled immigrants who could have been integral to the country’s progress.

The government never promises for permanent residency it’s your so called consultants . Don’t blame govt for tough rules you guys know how you actually came here - just taking advantage of Canadian immigration system fake students getting admission in school colleges ( Don’t know English but in colleges) fake visitors ( fake lmia from their relatives ) fake asylums . So what do you expect govt give PR to everyone. Consultants thinks they are wiser and make govt fool ??

First of all Canada and America are European colonization countries. Because of their sense of superiority they managed to genocide and wipe out the culture of the indigenous natives of that place and replace it with their own. To say Indians from India is taking away their culture is so strange....the recent media attacks about Indians experiencing racism in Canada and all Indians being unlawful in Canada has been orchestrated by Tredue and the racist Canadian government against India and Indians because of geopolitics. The west has always used media to make the whole world look down on India and many places that fought back against white supremacy. As a Canadian citizen I agree with you on a lot of things and the same thing applies to an extend to Canadian. As a Canadian I see my churches getting burned, I have been spit in my face by Muslim people either because I am not covered, but I’m Canadian why should I, right? How exactly do you expect me to fit in? I've spoken English and lived here since the age of 2. I celebrate Halloween and Christmas but not Pride Month, and I don’t eat Canadian food regularly. If fitting in means doing all those things, then I have questions. I thought living here meant I could eat whatever I want and celebrate the festivals I like, such as Eid or Diwali, without anyone interfering. As long as I’m not causing trouble—which I never do—why should anyone dictate how I live?\n\nBeing '100% Canadian' is impossible for me because I prefer staying true to myself. This has been my country for a long time, so telling me to 'go back' makes no sense.\n\nAlso, let’s not forget how Canada’s history involves forcing European traditions onto Indigenous people. Respect speed limits in residential areas and take those CHILDREN PLAYING signs seriously. - Bonus tip - Always THANK your driver's. Canadian Citizenship is handed out far too freely . If they want to come to Canada , welcome , BUT it should take 8 years to qualify to EARN Citizenship . Merit Points Earned , be taking after hour studies in Canadian History , Politics , and learning either or both of the founding languages French or English . My family immigrated here in the 70s. We embraced Canada, my parents worked hard, there were no hand outs then. Kept our traditions at home, however when a Canadian was invited over everyone spoke English as well in public spaces. We were very proud to become Canadian citizens five years later. My brothers and I all served in the military. There is a bit of relief that my father passed away so as not to see what Canada has become in the last 9 years. I have little tolerance for cultures that are only here to take with no interest in assimilating.

I’m a Canadian citizen. I married a Jewish African woman. And helped her get her citizenship after we got married here in Canada. Then we stood outside in the -20 degrees c freezing cold in a long lineup of good people trying to get their citizenships like my wife, all legally obeying the laws of Canada. I’m white so it doesn’t mater our skin color or religion. Its about love and respect to the laws of our country. What I was talking about before is we here in Canada have been suffering from over taxation, extremely high rental rates, high food costs, greatly reduced medical care (My Mom died recently from lack of proper med care resources). They put her lonely dying body in the hallway where she was robbed of her cell phones, money, food and respect. Due to migrants and illegal immigrants overloading the beds and rooms pouring in from other countries. they drained our existing medical system resources and much more. Drug addicts who overdosed on Fentanyl they take first and push all other patients aside. Doctors take them first before helping a dying mother, father, brother or sister, infant and children pushed aside to save a drug addicts life first. I have been told many times this is also do to them taking care of the pouring in migrants and illegal immigrants using it all up. Where is love and justice? I don't know very much about Indian Culture, but as a Canadian, I Blame our government more than I blame Indian People. The Government allowed this to begin with, I can't blame Indian people for taking advantage, as much as any other culture or people that would be invited to Canada, to begin with.

Here are some clarifications to note:\n\n\n1. In the last six years, 1.5 million international students brought a minimum of $67,500,000,000 direct cash into the Canadian economy. (Assuming a min $40-45000 per student for 2 year diploma, between to $100,000 - 150,000 for undergrad, and around $50,000 for Masters degrees). Usually, international students have to pay most of this money before applying for the study visa. \n\n\n2. These colleges employ Canadians for their day to day operations. From cleaning, maintainance, administration to teaching, each college operates with approx 20-30million budget. So, more students lead to more employment for Canadians who further pay taxes.\n\n\n3. All students start work straightaway, pay taxes, and do not qualify for social security. They do not qualify for any student loans by Canadian govt or banks. So, they generate revenue for Canada through their work and taxes. The thing that govt LOVES.\n\n\n4. These students become new consumers and their expenditure generate revenues for local businesses.\n\n\n5. Most Colleges would not survive without international students. Which is good in the sense that only quality colleges will survive and other hanky panky colleges would shut down. However, such closures will lead to job losses, bankruptcy when the colleges won't be able to afford their expenses.\n\n\nSo, considering these factors it will be an industry collapse. Govt needs to control immigration. They need to introduce intelligent policies. The steps that current govt is currently taking are politically motivated not rational.

So the police are now taking orders from people who routinely call for genocide?\n\nWhen it comes to these pro-Hamas hooligans, it’s perplexing why the police are so tolerant of their shenanigans. (And, if it’s cold out, they’ll happily provide Timbits and coffee to the Jihadis.)\n\nClearly, we’re not under Canadian law anymore, we’re under Sharia law.

Please India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Africa control your birth rate because your countries can't give you joba due to your population growing and then you people come to other countries and take their jobs especially Indians. And you aren't Canadian just by getting passport doesn't make you native of that land. I am born in Pakistan and I have Canadian citizenship but it doesn't mean I am native here.
