I am a white Canadian have family and friends in the USA and I tried to move to the usa back in the early 2000's because I had a job could not do it because I was not allowed but it seems if you are other then white it is so much easier and everyone said I should go now because Trudeau is a dictator and that I am a law abiding Conservative that wants to leave Canada because our PM is nothing but a POS Liberal that is robbing the hard working real Canadians and cutting us off of having a good job because of DEI. Canada is very laid back on border crossings. They claim to be our friend and ally but if they were truly our friend they wouldn't condone/allow this invasion from Canada into America

Please stay away from Canada I moved here and I regret it every day. I'm a citizen through my parents and getting my certificate took YEARS which stopped me from being able to go to school or work which means years of my adult life wasted that could have been put to much better use for something that wasn't even my fault. I also lost good opportunities too because of it!!!! Not happy especially since I genuinely needed the money. I won't forgive Canada for that. Also everything here is really expensive and the selection is just not very good. Also work opportunities are not as good as in the US. Anyways I finally got my certificate and got my life started up again just over 2 years ago, but I still often think of returning to the US after just being here for 4.5 years. I now warn some of my US friends not to go to Canada just for the hype if they mention it. I also know of a friend who moved here and left after 1 year, they came to hate it here.

My father was an American, I would never move to the USA . I used to enjoy to visit. However I find today that it is too dangerous. Love coming home to Canada I always makes me want to kiss the ground \n There is just a different level of decency there.\nThe quality of education is so much higher for your children. \nI have many friends who've moved to the states, and at this point they're looking forward to coming back to Canada.

tyler i don't think u realize how bad the usa education system really is. i'm canadian but have lost count of the number of usa teachers who have complained about how bad they are held back from teaching kids properly, how kids can't be failed or held back, how kids graduating gr 12 can't read or write past gr 6 level. in fact recently there was a statistic put out that something like 60% of ALL americans cant read or write past gr 6. considering all your universities that is terrifying. not to mention with gun violence, straight up violence among kids and at teachers, the disrespect and the severe lack of good parenting, kids are not being educated at all. u yourself have done videos on where someone interviews americans and asked them questions about canada and they haven't got a clue. not one clue. yet canadian kids are regularly taught all about their american neighbours. are kids know more about america then american kids do and thats shameful. u need to do some research on this because unless u live in a rich gated elite community and go to private school the public education system in the usa is very dismal and woefully inadequate. \nalso he's right about politics. here we can discuss it rationally and then move on to other topics. in the states ppl are shooting ppl over differences in politics. beating ppl up trashing their cars and property etc. and many police are definitely not presenting themselves with professionalism tons of racism going on. and so many police because everyone is armed. here in canada we are not allowed handguns and pretty much ppl only have hunting rifles. it takes a lot of work and clearance not to mention time and money to take the necessary classes and get the necessary permits to even own a hunting rifle. in the usa show a drivers license and wait 10 days u have a handgun no matter how mental u are. therefore u need way more police than here in canada. i think u have a well to do upbringing so u have not and do not see the true picture of the america u live in. \nalso i have talked to many american friends who had insurance and still cost them about $5000 per birth of a child. with good insurance and working full time. so thats about average. here in canada u pay nothing except maybe parking for hubby while he visits.

These students can't complain about the student fee, Housing , food and living cost .\n\nU can blame trudue for lowering the standards for student visa. \n\nTo my knowledge from friends i know as students durring high-school vs students coming to study at college. \n\nPrior to this issue these a few mandatory requirements \n\n- parents most make over 200 k usd , and assets .\n\n- you must have xxx amount in usd dollars equivalent in your bank account and open a HSBC bank account with xxx amount \n\n - u must show you can afford for your child to stay at a mandatory homestay , all the associated cost staying and studying in canada for min 3 years \n\nJust passing the first 3 requirements, most ppl get rejected. \n\n- most leave the home stay due to culture differences and end up renting a 1 bed room condo. \nThat alone back in harper days was 20 k a year.\n\nMind you these students i met are from Vietnam, a 3rd world country where a university graduate with 2 degree will make only $500 usd which is consider a very good job . Its equivalent to5 k / month . \n\nSo thier dollar isn't worth much , for their parents to have that much money to send a 15 year old to study hs in a foreign country is a luxury only a selected few can dream of\n\nAlso none of them worked and work permit wasn't allowed. Even they were allow why would u when ur parents give u their debit card ~ visa card with allowance of 2- 3k to spend .\n\nInwould say 25% of these rich students go home within a year as they get home sick.\n\nToday standards\n\n- not many come as high school students as it's alot harder and still up hold strict standards as their still a minor. \n\n- college is easier route\nOnly have to prove u can afford the 1st. Year of study \n- a place to live\n- your parents can support you while ur here \n\nSo some one in India is faking the documents so they can come over strictly to work and pay for school and living cost. \n\nThis is why we have this problem. Even Vietnamese students doing this but alot work save all their money and go back home after their visa end. \n\nWhat ever they save in 3 years is like 10-20 years plus of saving working in Vietnam as these students are from.poor families barly getting by\n\nWith that being said, studying aboard is a luxury no matter what country ur from.\n\nImaginenthe cost of sending ur kids to the usa for school, most of will have to take. Indiana are very difficult nation to respect the rules and laws in the housing sector to during to jobs - and education. They don't want to learn the foreign rule except just want to make money by ignoring all rules. \nI rule said to allow the apartment to be sized and rules to all nations 2 people the indians will bring the same apartment 10-15 person minimum, damages within a days weeks, non-respect the rules they agreed to respect. \nWhen landlords are the same rules as all others indians think it's only for them, and cleanliness maintenance is the main issue. Before indians rented the buildings front, corridors, and inside all was super clean as soon Indians rented the apartment all the bags full of garbage, compost, dresses, and shoe food all in front and everywhere. The apartment and building itself are not livable and others are complaining threatening the landlord to quiet the building. For Indians tennats many landlords lost. their good respectable tenant, None want to stay with them, It's not about color or language its about cleanness and noise sharing s with many and inviting all friends which is allowed only in India, not other developed countries or Canada. U.S. If they can't respect the rules of law in Canada they should not come. Canad landlords will not allow 11/2 or 21/2 apartments with 10-15 peoples, who breaks all inside out crowd noise, deny damages, and blame Landlords.

I have spent quite a bit of time in USA and I always find my experience split. For the most part the people and places are great. As a filmmaker I have shot in NYC, California, Mississippi to name a few. The people were always accommodating and friendly. One time a gentlemen and his wife that allowed us to film in his property would bring us hot chocolate at night, then offered to shoot anyone who got in our way. I was also filming in the desert in 2009 and I almost got shot in the face by a group of police officers that charged in guns out and tempers raging, before realizing that we had film permits and were scheduled to be on site. Only to have the crew say that if I was black they would have shot first and asked questions later. As tensions rise between Canada and USA with Trump's trade war and attempt to ANNEX Canada I think I will do my filming in other parts of the world, if not in Canada. I have plenty of American friends and know a lot of Canadians that live in the US. I just hope things settle between our two nations soon. Where do you live? Just ask the people of Canada specifically those living in the City of Brampton. Been to Canada plenty of times. They used to be warm and friendly to immigrants. But the behavior of the Indians has caused so much controversy. There is now resentment towards Indians. Their arrogant and entitlement behaviour is now causing backlash towards immigrants.

I do think India is gaining every way. And developing fast. India’s education system is. Nothing to sneezed at. Generally all Indian and Asian families who have come to Canada are always the top students in schools . But whenever there are economic problems, they blame it on immigrants instead of acknowledging their shortcomings. Lived in Arizona for 3 years and was ecstatic to move back to Vancouver BC Canada. I am living in USA and I totally agree with you. Though I am not from India . But I have seen many of my Indian friends struggling in the USA and Canada. My advice to all of the Subcontinent ,stay in your country .if you have money, invest in your own country rather than to put yourself in jeopardy.

At this point - Feb 2025- a lot of condos have been built in Toronto and guess what, nobody is buying!! The economy dipped with the pandemic as it happened in many other countries! When I immigrated to Canada - and I had nothing then, it was impossible to even think of buying a house, under a Conservative government. About 10 years later I was able to purchase my first home and am doing well, thank you. So are the builders in this beautiful province, close friends with the premier. I've been to the states many times! My opinion is that Americans focus on wallets more than social issues! Americans care more about their own circumstances than working together to help the whole of the population. No one likes to pay more taxes but they are a nessesary evil to be able to pay for health care, public security, and so on! So sure Americans don't pay as much for some things but pay more for things that they shouldn't pay! Health care is something that is very important, how can you be expected to pay for health services if you can't work cause you're ill, doesn't make any sence! Even Americans leave thier country because of what it's becoming! 50- 100 years ago everyone wanted to immigrate to America or Canada, now a days everyone is immigrating here to Canada. Should I have to explain why! It's sad but the U.S.A isn't what it used to be. Mostly because of corporate greed and the influence it has on the gouvernment! Just look at how Trump is running things.
