They are the ones who will bust their asses to get to better places, have the better jobs and contribute to the society, not the entitled folks who seem to be under the influence at 11am in the morning. I am not Indian or living in Brampton, but this video is very annoying. “It feels more Indian than Canadian?” What exactly is Canadian? It’s a mix of immigrants. This country has a history of a few hundreds years and it’s all immigration. It was a brown land, then the Europeans came and it became whiter and now it’s becoming more brown again. Anyone gets to try living here as much as you or your ancestors did. At least these folks are not coming to ravage villages and burn kids in residential schools.

Canadians make horrible friends especially over the long term. Very polite and politically correct but only super fiscally. In the end they are very redneck and lack meaningful depth. Rather hostile with their entitlement

My capital gains on investments is around 15%. I get free health care (which while obviously not free - is paid out of my taxes, yet isn't rationed or in-network restrictions, doesn't have copays and cover 90% of my medical needs). I have a government that even at its worst, is orders of magnitude more rational and public serving than the US (and god help you if Trump gets back in). I was born and raised in Canada and in my 60’s now. I can’t afford to live here anymore, healthcare has declined, personal safety, fuel costs, insurance etc. most of all our politics are a mess on all three major parties. The Liberals are a royal mess and inflation went through the roof. They’re just running around like the 3 blind mice making fools of themselves. The Conservatives are involving themselves in a right wing romance with fascist trumpianism and think poutine is an ok guy. The hate speech is unreal. We used to be a real chill country. I have young 20 somethings telling me they think Communism is a great idea and they would rather fight for poutine if a war breaks out. Well it’s their future not mine. The AI, bots and trolls on the internet are telling them what they want to hear in order to stir up hate and entitlement. The NDP (New Democratic Party) is neither here nor there, they’re kind of always the minority and swing both the other two parties to divide the vote and gain some form of temporary power. \nI’d like to see a politician that has the balls to stand up to the dictators of this world that shit disturb in every continent because they are such little insecure bastards that they think they can conquer it. I’ve got news for them. Every single dictator in history has failed… miserably and often brutally. We need the kind of leadership in our Country that can produce good governance. Our GDP is just under $60K. The dictators out there are rubbing their greedy little hands, for if there is ever a 3rd world war, Canada will be the prize. We are loaded with resources. I’ve spent 40 yrs in the workforce, and listened to countless people from every continent who told me the truth about why they left their homeland. People who survived WW2, the Korean War, Vietnam War, communist China, expansionism of the USSR, the caste system and political persecution in India and Bangladesh. Political unrest in Argentina and Chile. I have personally witnessed systemic racism in the USA and Canada. \nI don’t have anything tying me down to stay here so I will be moving on. I think I’ll just become a nomad tourist for a while.

I studied in the US as a foreign student on an F-1 visa and we weren’t allowed to work, unless it was an on campus job (which were few and far between) or unless we used our OPT which is like internships etc. That was also like an impossible feat because, well…sponsorship…long story, if you know you know. So the entitlement of these students complaining about jobs just totally boggles my mind. Like, the audacity..

Immigrants used to come into this country with hard works and immigrant mentality, while Canada still had big corporates to offer good opportunities. However, new immigrants these days are not as qualified, self-entitled, and no opportunity offered at all. I mean, what kind of visa students would go on protest for failing their exams?

Some parents feel that correcting their kids and teaching them some manners will make them submissive, docile and under confident. They fail to understand that it's a flawed logic. Not teaching kids good manners and empathy will only make them 3rd class, entitled brats who are no good for the society and then they will learn theri lesson the hard way but during all this while they would have created 100 such nuisances.
