Banks in India will lend them money to come to Canada, they buy their IELTS results. 99.9% of all the students I dealt with who got caught cheating on their exams were from India.\n\n- The people we are receiving in Canada are members of a separatist movement. They have often blocked roads to protest against India, because they want Punjab to be separated from India, and turned into a new country called Khalistan. I highly doubt they would all move there if that actually happened.\n\n- Going back to the entitlement: They often abuse the human rights nature of Canada. My wife and I moved to Canada about a decade ago from post-Soviet states, where we both grew up with not much more than our smarts and a strong work ethic. When we arrived, adapting/integrating Canadian values, especially work ethics, was a big deal for us. Those first few years were tough, we really had to hustle to improve our lives. Now, a decade later, we're both in pretty solid tech and science jobs. Our child had the incredible privilege of being born in Canada, and that fills me with immense joy.\n\nIt wasn't just our own grit that got us where we are now; we owe a lot to the incredibly welcoming Canadians we met along the way. I'm thankful every day for the awesome, kind-hearted folks we've met. Canadians are truly some of the best people around, and despite lots and lots of issues, Canada is one of the greatest countries in the world. I know this because I've lived and worked across many countries on many continents . We, Canadians, need to keep working to make it even better. I'm proud to be a Canadian immigrant. According to the news we broke 40 Million residents in Canada in the new year. They just announced that the Canadian population is already at 41 million as of last week. How can we absorb this many people. I would say the majority are from India. A lot of these new residents are amazing. But hear me out......For more than 70 years Canada has accepted diverse immigrants from around the world. These immigrants have always had challenges with acceptance and integration as they bought homes and had families and raised children to be Canadians. But these immigrants are economic migrants. They don't want to be Canadians like they used to. They want the PR, and the citizenship. But they want to work and move all that money out of Canada back to India. Then when they retire, they themselves will dump all their Canadian assets and move to India where cost of living and home ownership is exceedingly less expensive. Even their federal government pension plan money will move out of the country. I'll be totally truthful...MY perception of these economic migrants is that THEY HATE US. In India they are educated, come from Middle class and upper middleclass families. They want the PR and Citizenship so they can eventually pull their entire family from India over to Canada. But they have to Work at Burger king or Tim Hortons when they arrive. And the HATE and resent Canadians for it. \n Canada allows people to keep their foreign passports and citizenship. There are 300,000 people with Canadian citizenship living in Hong Kong, There are 450,000 people with Canadian citizenship living in Lebanon with a War about to expand across the border. During Covid the nursing home I worked at for 21 years had not one Indian worker. In 3 years we have 94 percent Indian and they work every hour god sends. I came from France back in 2015 whith my familly when Harper was still prime minister at the time , really I'd say things have been really great , my family and I have worked hard to get to where we are today and have always wanted to give back to our community here but I am disgusted to see in 2024 what Trudeau has done to the country and to see that immigration is no longer as prestigious as it used to be. Unlike some people we have today, I had to wait 3 years with my family before receiving approval to move to Canada (after so many exams, appointments and waiting times). I did my middle school here until college and I'm currently still looking for work in correctional and when I see that people arrive here afterwards without being permanent residents, who are literally flooding spots at colleges/university and also jobs that are normally open for young canadians in their 15-16 (When I was in high school, my first job was at a McDonald's, and without exception, everyone there was Canadian. Today, when I go back to the same McDonald's for a cheeseburger every now and then, the entire staff is nothing but Indians) .As a person with an immigrant background, I'm the first one to say that there's a very big problem in Canada, and that current immigration, mainly from India, is no longer for economic reasons but to reunite families.(They do not, and will never, assimilate into Canadian culture.)Now that I've grown up in Canada for almost half my life, I'm already thinking about either returning to France or start over somewhere else if nothing changes.\n\nThe Trudeau government, uncontrolled immigration, dangerous idelogies from extreme far left idea, rising unemployment, and economic misery getting worse every day , gradually pushes me away from the country I love, Oh Canada.

I think its okay to have some stuff of every culture, but some cities are literally becoming India. Brampton was taken over a while ago where every single plaza is indian stores, their places of worship everywhere, their lifestyle etc etc. its fine and all to be proud of your culture but youre getting away from your country to make another country indenticle? I’m tired of seeing them in every business out there. Tim’s, almost all gas stations, banks,I understand they come for a better life but you have to have a limit on how any come in. The one thing I noticed is most don’t have a common understanding of the English language. I’ve seen customers get agitated because they have no idea what you’re talking about. Its a simple thing. Folks are trying to leave for a better life, they then got to know about Canada giving 3years postgraduate work permit to international students who studied for two years and, there are permanent residence programs you qualify and can apply for after getting one year Canadian work experience. This is what encouraged many international students to head in this direction. Unfortunately, half of about 800,000 international students admitted to Canada came from India (if i'm not mistaken), many of them had to borrow the money to pay fees or their family sold their ancestral land or used it borrow money with the hope that when their child who they sponsored with the money is done, he/she will be the family's hope to not only pay back, but help them relocate too. However, the picture is not looking like it anymore as the demand for jobs surged and many are not able to get jobs or can't find the kind of jobs that can make them get PR and, their current work permit is about to expire, which means they may be faced with going back home with nothing so, they are pulling every string they can to stay back because, returning will mean they are a failure and can even cause their family a lot of emotional damage. Infact, i have heard of some of them who committed suicide as they are not meeting up and are not ready to go and face the shame back home. So, what you are seeing is the definition of desperation!

Had to drive through brampton last night and airport road was closed at one point because of some kind of something, that is being done every damn Sunday now. I feel bad for many of the India people coming to Canada.\n \nThere is no clear solution if the governments don't start controlling the numbers of foreign students to be enrolled and same with the schools for hurting not just the people of the cities their in but also their own staff tend to struggle because of the lack of housing.\n\nIn my line of work, almost every single one of them should not have been on the phone for technical support, not because of a lack of education but a lack of speaking English clearly. Some of them or should I say a lot of them were promoted to supervisors. That made my father extremely upset when first he would not understand the tech rep and then to have a supervisor with the same challenge was horrendous.

This is very ignorant. I understand that there is a very huge minority population in the community. Canadian Government lured them with the immigration policy to collect huge amount of money as a college fee. After they spend such a huge amount of money and time to go through the process, you are telling them to go back. It’s not fair. There’s many crazy drivers , I drive trucks almost every day , and the most amount of accidents I’ve seen it involves one of this guys. Wow…I agree it was a horrific accident but the comments are pretty heinous. I hope every one of you guys never crash where there is a fatality. What would be the appropriate punishment for not doing something on purpose that has a horrible outcome?
