I am a Canadian and I have seen the sharp decline of Canada over the past decade which makes me very sad. According to many 'experts' they paint a dire picture of the nations future as the rate of inflation spirals out of control and we are buried beneath a mountain of debt. On the ground level, homelessness is an epidemic that the powers that should not be seem to want to sweep under the rug, while they race bait and spout off about woke ideology. They are more worried about transgender rights and castrating children while with anyone with eyes to see are witnessing the very breakdown of their society around them, people are dying in the streets from fentanyl overdose. My wife volunteered at our old church which catored to the homeless and I have known many that are no longer with us, nobody wants to acknowledge it because they do not want to face the fact that they are fellow human beings. In the end no one is better than any one else, it is all vanity.?\nIt would seem like we are run by lunatics with severe cognitive dissonance by the fact that we have mass immigration while are own \npopulation is suffering, I admit that mental health and addictions are potent variables that constitute the crisis, I am not niave to those facts. I myself have had long term Sobriety. But it is odd that only a decade ago, homelessness /addiction were problems confined to major cities like Vancouver and Toronto, and now we have tent cities in almost every town with a population of more than 20 thousand people. It would seem like utter stupidity to keep pouring water into a bucket that is overflowing. I suspect that their is an agenda and the destruction of our nation is a part of it, it is a well known fact that the Trudeau government is in bed with Klaus Schwab and the World Economic Forum. I don't care if you call me a racist, that is a luxury for those who live in gated communities, who create the problem and want to muddy the waters. These elites like to accuse others of what they are guilty of, they are anti human bigots, eugenicists who are ideologically captured, any one who bandies the around words like racist and homophobia, Islamophobia etc. are either those operating with an agenda or a useful idiot.

I've been living in Canada for the last 10 years ( came here as an international student), and now applying for my permanent residency. Went through high school, post secondary, and now working a full-time job in my field of study. I would say it's long overdue for Canada to scale down on its immigration policies (yes, I've had this thought even when I was a student so anyone who thinks I switched teams can shut up). There are simply not enough houses to accommodate Canadian, let alone immigrants. A lot of them only work minimum wage jobs which neither help the country with shortages in other fields nor their careers in the long term, and overall it gives immigrants a bad rap in the eyes of Canadian citizen. The recent changes in immigration imo is a good first step in the right direction.\n\nEdit: Also I'd like to add that if you're leaving your own home country to join another for a better life, it's your responsibility to adapt and contribute to their society, not the other way around. If you can't do that, stay in your home country.

I had been living in Canada for the past 25 years. I left the country for this reason. Canada is kind and welcoming, but people often mistake its kindness and politeness for stupidity and foolishness. It’s not just Indians, but people from many cultures who immigrate to Canada through easy means and tend to have poor ethics, attitude, manners, and lack professionalism.\n\nI miss the old Canada, as of now the country is inhabitable as it’s an asylum for fraudsters, cheaters, welfare check collectors etc. it’s really unbearable to hear peoples stories and how they got away. \n\nThe most painful part of it all is. Inept government in all levels robbing our earnings and savings through high taxes, service fees leaves little disposable income to Canadians. Politics dictated by US agenda is not allowing us to take advantage of foreign resources and efficiencies to mitigate our rising costs. Compound by inefficient, ineffective, and lack of adequate long term infrastructure investments put us forever in a chasing mode to keep up with the rest of the world. All you have to do is travel to some Asian counties and it will open your eyes on how our system here is completely failing.

Western Canadian here. Moved away from the coast last year because of the ideological capture and literally watching the community dissolve and collapse in front of my eyes. The eye infection hits home. I'm in Canada. I had an eye infection and couldn't see a doctor. Ended up having to go to a pharmacist to get over-the-counter polysporin anti-biotic eye drops. My daughter then got it much worse and couldnt' get in to see any doctors at all. Had to go to an eyeglass store that had an optometrist on site who was able to write her a prescription eye drops.

How can they demand anything? I was on a 2 year work visa in the UK and the moment my visa was up, I left because I followed THEIR rules. There is no country anymore. I just met a couple from Canada. They see the flaws but won't move to the US. It's also expensive to live here but you have to pay for other expenses like health care out of pocket. They don't want to live somewhere that every nut job can have guns, where schools are failing to teach basics and are not safe places for kids. I feel like many Americans will point out the splinter in the eye of other countries, and yet ignore the rafter in America's eye. People from other countries don't fear America because it has the most powerful military, they fear it because insanity continues to grow and common sense continues to die.
