It's not just immigrants who leave Canada. My parents were born in Canada. My grandparents were born in Canada and six of my great-grandparents too. I was born in Toronto. Got my first degree from a Canadian university. Then a Master degree with a teaching assistantship at an American university. Then got a scholarship to study at a UK university. in the UK asked to conduct a graduate seminar for MSc students in quantitative analysis and computer applications at a major UK university. Then appointed senior research officer and leader of a research program in operational research. Then appointed principal scientist for a UK government agency. Eight years studying and working abroad in senior positions. Time to return to Canada. But could I get a job? I could not. \nAnd so I have a base in another Commonwealth country with a better climate, lower living costs, less tax and less government regulation. And from that base, I have worked in 20 countries all over Asia. With none of the bullshit I hear from the likes of Justin Trudeau. And none of the age discrimination common in Canada.

I leave this country in a hurry because of the illegal and blackmailing vaccination mandatory. Such a thing does not go at all, that one nails people as HOSTAGE! This antisocial policy, this prime minister destroys a life worth living in this beautiful country and turns it into an unlivable pile of shit. I have two weeks to sell my property and flee. Yes, I call it an escape and I never wanted to go back to Germany, but this forced treatment against all laws and human rights makes me do it! I would rather go back to Germany than be enslaved in such an evil and criminal way! I am a British Columbian who briefly lived in Quebec, when the army posted me there for basic, I have to say Quebec is horrible, outside of Montreal, if you do not speak French. I also spent 5 years in Alberta & I would rank Alberta as number ☝️ of all of Canada’s provinces. \n\nThat all being said, I am sick of this country’s politics. I deeply regret serving this country due to how badly our current PM has treated us veterans, only PM to ever sue veterans & make massive cuts to veterans support funding. Furthermore, he is most corrupt in our history, & easily the least democratic or respectful to our laws and/or constitution… yet he has been re-elected TWICE!… because… reasons ??‍♂️ I do not know how dumb you have to be to vote liberal given Trudeau’s horrible track record on a laundry list of issues. Justin Trudeau seriously caused a huge immigration issue of Mexicans and south americans coming to our country. Like dude I was born in Canada and my parents are immigrints who came legally so I can tell you my side. A non biast side. Since I live and work here I can tell u most people of colour r welcoming, however most people who are here and have trouble finding work dont wanna see more people come and make it harder like texas and arizonia. To me, it looks like Vice is really trying to pull the emotional card to get people to sympathize with this man because he really is in a rough situation. But, he is in a situation of his own making. It sounds like he had not done any prior research about Canada before deciding to claim refugess status. Yes, Trudeau was not giving the full truth when he made those public announcements to the media. Yes, people (educated or not) can be swayed by words of leaders they respect. But, to think you can just enter another country and claim refugee status without understanding what that actually entails is very naive. Canada has very transparent laws that are easily accessable in a multitude of different languages. The provinces also have legal assistance for those who can not afford lawyers. So, the fact that this man was able to spent $15,000 when he is being portrayed as a low income earner makes me question his income, or if he was even aware that he could apply for legal assistance. And since he has a lawyer who has been working his case, I would like to assume that the lawyer would have said something about assistance.\n\nI really want to be sympathetic for this man and his family, because security uncertainty makes life extra hard. But, as I have had to live in more than one country due to the Canadian immigration system refusing my husband due to a very old DUI (which has set our life on a completely different plan than anticipated), I have a very hard time being sympathetic when I feel as though they did not reach out to educated themselves on the laws of another country. I am a Canadian who currently can't live in Canada with my husband of 3 years and I still don't hate my country. I respect the hell out of it (this is not to get into our historic treatment of BIPOC, which deserves it's own seperate time and is a bloody stain on our land's history.)

Trudeau going to have to establish a DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) program in Canada now - people don't realize there is probably thousands like her scattered across the country mostly in the major cities. They all want similar relief from potentially being deported if they are caught. I have no problem giving it to them since most of them are young but I would enforce the condition that they have to resettle in Manitoba, Northern Ontario and the Atlantic Provinces - areas in Canada experiencing population decline, aging demographics and high job vacancy numbers. We don't need people who didn't follow the rules further overcrowding cities like Toronto and Vancouver where the cost of living is rising every year.

Its actually far more stringent than even the US. He also does not qualify for asylum after having lived in the US for 15 years. I'm just confused about this whole thing? I am a Canadian currently homeless and looking for an apartment in Vancouver. I have been living here all my life and was born here. My parents were also born here. Trudeau refuses to give me an apartment but will willingly let immigrants have one while I am on the street! We have to stop immigration from everywhere including China now!!!
