Cop: Why did you bring a knife? You are allowed to carry only A GUN ?

US has better job opportunities but I left US for Canada because of the gun violence, racism, inadequate health system. Live a more modest life here but am happy to be in Canada. Also Canada is a peaceful country over all.

Stabbing and gun violence happens every day in US?

The cross is an instrument of torture but it is allowed in America. Guns are an instrument of murder, but they are allowed in America. The kirpan, which is a holy object of worship, which is _not_ to be unsheathed except to taste the blood of tyrants, is not allowed.

We need US military protection. Water gun.

Guns, religion and right wing extremists. All things I hate, and find completely useless in the world. A bit too much of that in the US for my taste.

Sentry guns?
2024-02-01 0
In india it is allowed does not mean in US it vl b allowed. No need to get triggered. Instead of kripan he can carry guns.

Other countries protect their borders with guns I say we do the same. No need for a fence when you have guns and descent aim.

Guns are there for a reason at border

Get out the guns and keep them out of here!!

It’s ok to sell guns to anyone in this country but to wear a religious symbols is a crime ? Shame on the police ??

Yeah, and his country in no way has ever funded guns to the Hamas. Ever....

I have visited the United States many, many MANY, MANY times over the years. I've loved every single visit. The people are warm and lovely....some of your scenery and historic things were more than a joy to behold Would I ever want to move there ? Not even for a second. In fact, sadly, my husband won't even go back for a visit anymore. This is sad to me, but I understand where he is coming from. \nWas sad to say good-bye to our dearest friends who moved to the US, because the job pay and promotion was impossible to say no to. They lasted 2 months and settled for less pay and no promotion to come back home. They found it so weird, that all the new friends they made, thought they were freaks because they didn't own guns. The final straw was when they learned these people were packing when they came to summer barbeques. That was the final straw, and they high-tailed it home. \nIn recent times, a country run by someone I see as a loose cannon, psychopath...makes it a most emphatic NO.

Remember when JT tried to buy all Canadians guns before he started letting waves of illegal migrants into the country so Canadians cannot defend themselves against violence? Tegridy Farms remember

At least Canada has a lot less deaths by guns /knives and stabbings

I lived in Canada for over 20 long suffering cold years. My rent in 1982 in Kamloops for a large two bedroom appartment was 105 bucks a month. Then when I moved back to Toronto and got an apartment right on Young at Grosvenor our rent shot up to a tough 620 bucks a month (all utilities included) but I was making a lot of money so it seemed like the good life. I wonder how expensive that luxury high rise is today? Probably about $4500 per month would be my guess. Canadians don't like to talk of the negatives in Toronto, but I feel really sorry for some of my family still there. My mother in law broke her back. All they could do is give her pain killers for the four months before she could get penciled in for surgery. And that was before it all went to hell. It's nice to see so many shots of places that were once so much a part of my life, but in all honesty moving to the States was the best thing I ever did. It was in fact like an escape from madness. Now similar crazyness is here, even on the South East coast of the US. Time to look for another escape. Any suggestions?\nOh, and my friends cousin got murdered in the Jane and Finch area years ago. Just a guy with a gun that nobody is supposed to have - shot him in the chin.

I thought they had guns in Texas. I guess they just don’t know how to use them.

carrying gun is non violent for usa \nbut carrying a religious kripan is very violent for them \ntheir agenda is clear

There’s more guns than people in America. You can literally go to some cities and buy a gun on the streets for $50. The colleges in schools are being overprotected and there’s new laws coming so I wouldn’t carry anything into those areas.??
2024-01-18 0
London same thing. Funny how they’re both anti-gun yet crime is through the roof.

8. Govt subsidies to refugees are far better than immigrants.\n9. Chaotic political disagreement.\n10. Canada is a big state of USA, ask JT the loyal American dog. Political independence is fake.\n11. Company with 30 more people is big.?\n12. Many guns smuggling from USA.\n13. Vancouver first Zombie city, and Toronto will be the second. Ask the drug boy JT.\n.....

If you believe, as I do, that the CPC has an excellent shot to carry the next federal election, start asking your CPC riding association about their gun law plans. The NRA-funded CCFR and NFA meet weekly with the CPC leadership and policy people. The CPC is on the record as seeking to significantly relax gun control in Canada. The CCFR and NFA seek open and concealed carry of handguns, getting rid of background checks, getting rid of protections for battered women and ex-es. \nFrankly, the people in Canada who want less gun control have no choice but to vote CPC. (They can’t vote Liberal, Green, NDP, BQ.) Thus The CPC gains no vote by appealing to this demographic. By enacting USA gun laws, the CPC can only increase the murder rate, not their vote.

And the English are happy they have no guns for self defense how stupid
2024-01-15 0
It is not as this video says. It's hard but it's hard everywhere. In Canada you want to buy a home there are homes to buy. You might have to commute to work maybe 2hours but that is the price you pay. In Canada there are less guns and more health services.

As a Torontonian born and raised here it’s had a couple shifts in feel over the past decades. Around the mid 90s, there was an increase of gun violence, crime and theft in the city which caused my family to move out to the burbs. I moved back during the 2009 recession for higher education at one of the institutions downtown. At that time, there wasn’t much violence at all. We went out til the wee hours of the morning from Fashion district (Queen and Richmond) to Honest Eds (Bathurst and Bloor), to Yonge and Dundas square. There were still some homeless people then, but fast forward to now, it’s gotten aggressive. Instead of the homeless people keeping in their camps, but now, they have been displaced, are angry, mental health issues are rampant and incidents can happen anywhere. I think we have the right mayor in place now to make some positive changes for the social issues in the city and I am optimistic that we can get it cleaned up over time. For now though, I agree with the sentiment, come for a visit, but maybe skip out on living here until the social issues get sorted. You always have to keep an eye on the back of your head these days.

This is such BS sorry. I get the whole gun thing is messed up in this country, but cmon man carrying a knife saying you are Sikh and it is my religious duty is ridiculous. Anyone can claim anything under religion and carry whatever they want. I could say my religion is carrying poisonous snakes lol. People take their religion very seriously

He could’ve won a jacket and covered it up the same as you do with a gun. It shouldn’t be on display religion or not. He had it on and he knew he was going to get a reaction. This is the reaction you get don’t play racism or the race card play the active stupidity that is the card you should play

In other words they will give them guns and money but won't take them in as refugee , classic Muslim mentality , glad to see they and the Israelites have not changed after 2000 years
2024-01-08 0
Canada, it’s like The US but without the guns, douche bags and Magats.
2024-01-08 0
It's a bridge set up a mini gun.

Muslim countries never take Muslim refugees. That's the answer, in this answer the HAMAS' foreign re Israel was never identified as a problem.\nIf Israel puts down their guns = extinction; if Hamas puts down their guns = peace. Israel never fires the first shot. What did Hamas do with the billions of $ they received? Ah yes, built schools, hospitals & universities in their tunnels.
2024-01-07 0
Paaji you wearing kirpan in the country of automatic guns and rifles\nThat's ur only crime

You explained this so well!! My partner and I moved to Canada 3 years ago just as we got approved for H1B. We had to chose between moving to CA or staying there in an uncertain limbo for 2 decades waiting for a greencard. You did a good job talking about the downsides of moving such as a lower salary and higher home prices. We bought a small townhouse for the price we could have paid in the US for a detached house. Many people I know in similar situations leave CA and move back to the US once they get their Canadian citizenship. However, I do think that there are many reasons to stay such as the political climate. The US has become very regressive banning abortions, making gun laws more lenient and it’s not as accepting when it comes to diversity and inclusion (be it POC community or Lgbtqia+) unless you live in a big city which is expensive. These are the reasons we chose to stay, especially if we have kids as school shootings are getting more and more common there.
