In area, Canada is the second biggest country in the world but unfortunately it is managed as a small country like Monaco, Andorra or the Vatican.\nThe housing issues we see in Vancouver and GTA is caused by the lack of high-speed trains like we see in Tokyo, Seoul and many Chinese or European cities, where lots of people can live 300Km away from their jobs.\nThe government need to build in Canada these urban high-speed train lines:\n- Vancouver island-Kamloops-Calgary-Edmonton\n- Quebec city-Montreal-Ottawa-Toronto-Windsor\n\nThese two high speed train lines will serve more than 70% of population in Canada, allow them to live hundred of kilometers away form their jobs, buying houses where land price are cheaper.\n\nThe second factor that makes Canadians houses not affordable is manpower price, and that can be easily with temporary working visas like we see in the agricultural sector, but this is not easy to do because the unions in Canada are strong, and will force electricians, plumbers, drywallers, etc. of years of training and certifications, when in other developed countries a professional engineer signatures to certify the construction is the only thing that is needed.\nIn lots of Europeans countries, professional engineers train their trades apprentices to build houses, and sign and become responsible for the quality and safety of the construction.\nMunicipalities also employ professional engineers that visit work sites to check if all construction rules are being followed.\n\nCanada cannot implement this plan because that will bring ruin to the Ponzi scheme we see in the housing market, causing million of mortgages payers going under water, and multiple banks to collapse like we saw in USA and Europe during the 2008 Great Recession.\n\nThe only solution for this situation is a communist regime implemented by the NDP, replicating the quiet revolution that started in Quebec last century (1960).

Him being deported or not doesn't matter, the rules and regulations that allow such inexperienced drivers drive these huge dangerous rigs is a huge problem. I get that the economy suffers from a job shortage in the truck driving sector, but this is NOT the way. It's sad to see so many people jump to race or immigration to try to explain their frustration with our current issues in Canada. We are doing this, Canada is importing immigrants for our economic benefit. We Canadians are all NIMBY and making it hard to build the housing we need, wanting our houses to increase in value indefinitively, not wanting the less comfortable jobs like truck driving, yet letting corporations profit by putting woefully inadequate truck drivers on the road. Immigrants CAN be problematic, but in Canada we are creating our own problem.

So many more should see the faith. But our system is built soft.

A sad end for this gentleman who was trying to make a new home for himself in Canada> Yet, he is not the only guilty of bad driving: just travel the QE 2 from Crossfield to Calgary or Okotoks to Calgary, hmmm, don't think we'll see too many complaints there... The Canadian road test is piss poor in comparison to the UK and Europe: no 3 point turns, reversing around a corner or emergency stop. I see soo many of them ride Electric scutters while delivering food in Vancouver. They drive carelessly on sidewalks and don't care about pedestrians. And city of Vancouver is doing nothing to stop them. I guess until some people get injured or killed.

This is one individual that was working in a job he knew little about and was very inexperienced. If people knew more about the trucking industry and the way they operate they would be afraid to go out on the roads. Many companies run ads nonstop looking for drivers because they pay too little, the equipment is not safe and the law allows for ridiculous hours. Federal hours of service are 16 hours a day with 13 hours driving 1 hour work time not driving and two hours of breaks. After 70 hours the driver gets 36 hours off and it starts all over. This works out to work up to 70 hours in 5 days and then a day and a half off. What other profession works those kind of hours? How about making our civil service workers work that kind of schedule and see how fast they go out on strike. These hours are allowed under the law and are federally mandated hours of service. The 36 hours off is often spent on the road sleeping and living in the truck not at home.

When you first get here many people don’t know what to make of you and you get what seems to be the cold shoulder. \nIt gets hard to value the sentiments of the people around you. This can make you more open to navigating around the system. \nFor some who are from environments that have a lot of cheating normalized it’s worse so. \nWhen you get a feel for the environment that dissipates mostly but I do notice that quite a few from India have a lot of this mindset. You see it in class from several other cultures as well. I don’t know the solution. Maybe just time. \n.

South Asian Indians are fourth generation Canadians and are educated, successful and have assimilated with the European culture. The french lady should see Montreal, it is cool to see Indians, Chinese speaking French. Do you ask why there are too many Chinese in Chinatown? Sadly the new immigration are bad Trudeau policies that India wanted deported back. Others are temporary honest Indian students that are being ripped off by Canadian wrong policies of shameless cash grab. Assimilation for new immigrants could be something in common e.g. free classical piano lessons for everyone in school. Music and language is a great first step in communication. The drug problem has nothing to do with immigration, it is the result of their own culture of drug abuse and bad Canadian policies. I think it is sad that the woman seems to be so negative without realizing the she has to care and use her power for good by demanding that no Canadian should be on the streets, this is why ALL Canadians (especially include South Asian Indians) pay taxes. where is our money going? is not the Canadian Government responsible for the welfare of ALL Canadians? we were the peacekeepers. Canada is a puppet to western primitive thinking foreign policy in a proxy war to destroy beautiful Christian Russia?? Trump has outsmarted Trudeau on every agreement. Canadians are paying double to a country that wants our water!!! I wish Senior Trudeau was here to protect Canadians.

Deporting this man is not going to address the problem. While not sounding politically correct, many many of these new Canadians who are driving trucks either don’t know the driving rules here, or don’t care. Just drive on highway 1 and watch. They need better training or we need more police on the roads to stop the poor drivers. I can’t count how many times I’ve been following a truck with two 53’ trailers and it’s all over the road and if you’re brave enough to pass you can see the drivers on the phone more than looking ahead.

Being an Indian immigrant myself (now a citizen), this is absurd. There's rules to follow. There's 3 problems as I see:\n1) The structure of the Canadian economy - heavily dependent on services, natural resources and real estate. Due to this Education has become a business. Colleges, Universities & Diploma Mills are more than happy to admit international students who pay 3 times the normal fees. \n2) Lack of a screening process - not taking in immigrants based on skill and education.\n3) Taking in too many immigrants from 1 ethnicity & region - the Indian state of Punjab, a region suffering from drug epidemic, alcoholism and crime. Not sure why you'd want low quality immigrants. If you notice all the protestors here are Punjabis. Canadian immigration is business in Punjab. Many immigration consultants here in Canada are Punjabis and have business links back home.

I am immigrant myself living in Canada since 1981 it is too many Indians that for sure balance immigration is the best I do not like to see from one type of immigrants diversify.

Someone above asked why so much Indians. you see indian student's out there - yes they had to pay 20K-40000CAD FEES to colleges + now a days 20,600 CAD GIC to Banks in Canada. \nEach in total spends 40-80k cad. \n\nAnd every day from the tim cup , pizza/ burger to food delivery you see indian. So basically the differences are minor. No wonder many foreigners think of Canada as US 2.0. Because if you need to differentiate Italy from Austria, the difference is obvious: different language, different culture, different architecture, different traditions. You won’t see that in US and Canada. And no one cares what forms of government these countries have. That’s not what makes you a distinct nation. No one thinks of Italy as Italy because of its government, lol.

They come here under the guise of being international students and faking their finance documents so when they come to Canada they steal food from food banks meant for Canadians. That’s what’s wrong. Remember The protest, which was called the Freedom Convoy, that many Canadians were a part of and look at the reputations many of them endured because they stood up for what they believed in. Now international students protest across Canada because they want to stay once their student visa expires, and they have a chance to be granted their demands; I don't see our PM threatening to freeze their bank accounts. I just don't get it.

Ok working for a large grocery/retail national store where they have hired so many Indian students that they are now about 75% of the work force. All of them have no intentions of leaving Canada. They have moved to all sorts of provinces to get easier access to permanent residency. What I have noticed is they are not even trying to integrate into society but rather gather in groups. It is a bit alarming to see so many and it all seemed to have happened all of a sudden about 2-3 years ago.

I lived in Ottawa all my life...maybe 2015, they started coming in so fast, I've never really seen so many Indians...now they're all over the place. Not saying it's a bad thing. Just what I've noticed. And lately I have been seeing them in Gatineau but knowing Quebec has new French rule, this may not want them to go live in QC. I think Vancouver has a lot of Chinese and Indians. Just the way it is. They say white people had it too easy and just demanded more from the government whereas Asians will come here for a better life, possibly doing labor work and not complain, so is this is the government is accepting of them? Are they helping with the economy? I am not sure where where all these numbers are coming from.

Indians are future of ??. \nHow many Canadians anyone can name working as top leaders in top companies of this world. Just try to Google who are CEOs of below top companies like Google, IBM, Microsoft, Adobe, Diageo, Arista Network, CHANEL, NetApp, Nokia, PEPSI Co, Onlyfans, Twitter etc etc. list is like never ending. Ive lived in brampton for 5 years. Yes we do have a good number of our people here. \nTalking about temples, thats what indian people do, we are religous. And i dont see anything wrong with having our temples built the traditional way. The city had no issue with it thats how they got permits to build. \nWhy so many of us live here …. Brampton is located very close to all major cities in gta. It has a good public\nTransport network…. A lot of colleges both convenient for the students. And more over the govt did not specify where new commers should go. \nI thought canada was always a land of immigrants from hundreds of years so dont know when they say too many of us here. We came like others…. Did the paperwork… got approved for visa. Students pay 3x the money for the same course a canadian would pay. Its contributing to the economy.

It's obvious that the Immigration Department recruits too many Indians and Indians favor Indians. In 2023, more than 1 million Indians will got visit visas, while only one hundred thousand Chinese will got visit visas. Shouldn't tourists see who has money? I can't get a visa with 200,000 Canadian dollars to prove it, but Indians can get a visa with only 10,000 Canadian dollars to prove it. what reason?

Obviously way too many Indians and Muslim. They stick together, hire their own and I find many of them look down on black people and other races. They want you to learn about and accommodate their culture and religion but reluctant to do the same. As a teacher it is difficult to teach Arab men. Literally if you said these things a decade ago which I have people will bc all you racist or xenophobic but thankfully more Canadians are seeing the obvious truth now.

I just met a couple from Canada. They see the flaws but won't move to the US. It's also expensive to live here but you have to pay for other expenses like health care out of pocket. They don't want to live somewhere that every nut job can have guns, where schools are failing to teach basics and are not safe places for kids. I feel like many Americans will point out the splinter in the eye of other countries, and yet ignore the rafter in America's eye. People from other countries don't fear America because it has the most powerful military, they fear it because insanity continues to grow and common sense continues to die.

Thanks very much for sharing this list. You hit all the major points why immigrants are leaving Canada. There are also Canadian-born citizens leaving Canada. Me and my family just moved from Canada to El Salvador last year. Why did we leave? One word - wokeism. We were afraid for our children! This ideology is very dangerous for our youth. They're being indoctrinated and supported in public schools to pump themselves with hormones and mutilate their bodies with surgery to change genders. It was so scary to us that we high-tailed it out of there! Not to mention the government tyranny. Many people still dont see it but many have now woken up to the reality that our government is moving away from democracy towards socialism, and we believe eventually towards totalitarianism. Don't get me wrong, socialism and collectivism in general can work well for societies if the government has the people's best interests in mind - but in a corporatocracy, that is NOT the case.

I'm born in the UK to Serbian parents, but grown up in Norway so I've seen three different cultures in my life all at once. I always liked Canada for being diverse because then I wouldn't have to switch between being English, Serbian or Norwegian, I could be more me because I am basically multicultural. For years I've idealised Canada and it wasn't until just two weeks ago that I got to visit and see for myself what Canada is like. I was in Toronto and also in Vancouver visiting a family that moved there from the UK I hadn't seen since I was a kid. I loved the nature (Especially Vancouver my god!) and the people, but I learned about how extremely expensive housing in Canada is to the point that it would be hard to make ends meet just renting a place let alone buying a house. Also how immigration is out of control and those who do come to Canada are disproportionately from one country being India rather than many different, which is not good for maintaining diversity. This is something I saw having lived most of my two weeks in Mississauga just south of the airport.\n\nI hope you guys finally get someone better in the next election, because I have more hopes for Canada than I do for the UK. It's always difficult to see changes around you and your home being in your words being raided by foreign entities. Guess what? The world is filled with different ethnic groups. Hundreds of years ago all your native homes were part of the indigenous people here and they didn't even have time to complain or lament online when the Europeans butchered them and massacred their homelands, claiming the land and setting up as their own. Now you are in a position to call something your home and we all know what all your ancestors did regardless of how good you are right now. The least you can do is not comment such provocatively online against other ethnicities or is this atrocity still there in your blood. It's very simple. Try to think beyond frustration and be grateful for what you have. \n\nBy the way I can write more but I don' think it's worth my time but maybe positive things can happen if you put your mind into.

As a Canadian, I like seeing this coverage of a very true issue. Currently, the polls say Pierre will get in the next election but how much good that will do - only time will tell. Currently if you can afford to move and don't have anything tying you down in Canada, you should move and many of my friends have. Some to Europe, some to the US. The best way of putting it is, it's just not worth it anymore.

Moved from Canada to the UK for work in the games industry as I wasn't seeing many opportunities in Ontario. Though my place of work is laying people off, so there's a chance that the visa may expire and I will have to return. It's a challenging time no matter what.

This is happening all over the West. Why is the West so many visas to Indians? Even Westerners of Indian heritage are complaining of their communities being swamped by these people, it’s causing tension, people do not want to see their communities changed over night.

I won't complain about the status quo because I've seen it happening all along. If you think you're vote counts I feel for you. One life to live and I wont wait in a shithole just to see what happens over the next 10 years...all hopes are gone here. The beauty of this life is you aren't tied down especially with so many great countries to live in..why settle for garbage.

It's too many Indians all over the world ?. The government of all countries should control this problems, I see it as a problems.

When I visited Toronto to see a Blue Jays game we stayed for a week in downtown. It was shocking to see so many homeless people with large set ups in the open. Prices for things were crazy high. It was very sad to see

America is a good place to live. I have visited a number of places in the USA and it's a free first world country with alot of fun and cool places to see and do. Just like every country in the world there are positives and negatives. I think that the health care is majorly flawed in America. Health insurance is too expensive for the average person and if you get really sick and don't have health insurance in America you are probably going to die. I also don't like that there is no gun control and way to many murders and violence in the USA. Those are the 2 biggest problems that make me not want to live there.

As a immigrant who recently got Canadian citizenship, I would like to clear few things here. I noticed that the host of the show has some wrong perception in his mind for international students. I agree that the basic jobs should be allocated to the young population or elderly population and international student should sustain themselves, but on the other hand why don't' the colleges charge the same fees that they charge to domestic applicants ?...the international students pays 5X to 10X the fees that the local student pays for the same courses. Also, when the student applies for visa they already pay 20000K to a Canadian bank for the future monthly payments that they will get so sustaining is not a problem. most of these students work so that they can contribute to the 5X fees that they have to pay. Also, when it comes to skill, the students skills are assessed by the universities and colleges and only after that they come to Canada. If you see an immigrant working in Tim Hortons or Food basics, don't worry he will be out of there in 2 years to a high paying skillful job that local population won't do. Now, when I say all this the immigration problem is real, but it is not because of the student who comes here, pays higher fees and than work in Canada, pay higher taxes and contribute to GDP and economy. your problem is with refugees and immigrants who are brought in mass immigration, who does not have skills. Because this is the population which you brought with to match the labor shortage but can not work so you provide them subsidies, assistance etc. and dig a hole in government funds...…now for the host he seems to have an agenda against Indian immigrants in particularly. I don't mind that though we are used to it. I don't hate him but can he make a video for other countries as well ? how Many Chinese students who didn't even past the language test come to Canada to study and drives expensive cars even without working a single day ? how you bring a immigrant under refugees status from any country to match labor shortage, but who also has 5-7 kids which means you get 1 guy benefiting Canada with 5-7 person who will take benefit from Canada?.....

I guess a country like Canada has a different outlook and perspective on the future \nThe world is changing in so many ways and countries that are sticking to the old ways might find themselves in ruins \nSo I think it’s all about the abilities to see what lays ahead and being prepared to Manoeuvre around it.

Thanks for sharing,?\nJust wanted to mention I have lived in Canada for many years and when people rent what really happens is that the renter is only an extension for paying the real owners mortgage.\nThis has gone on in history all over the world for centuries.\nAlso over crowded demographics have not changed meaning the main cities that’s why you see more of the extremes such as homeless beggars and poverty these effects also have consequences to the locals and businesses.\nIt’s a shame Greed from corporate, and just in general.\nI’m not a socialist but I do understand history.
