A very nice woman with pathetic math of living jn her adorable country squeezed to leave the loveliest place for her due to unwise tax policy and unsolved ordinary life. Among all the wrong things bound here I would remind that at bad times we have courage to veer the torrent of good for new direction. It is the time to change and be patient cause success is always keeping slow move. I also know that loveless relations between people spread the world and bring devastation to souls. That's a pity that we mostly do nothing to retrieve it. But future is future and we will do that perfectly. My belief is my core thing inside me.

Customer Service/Expectations is a big problem. A lot of places in the world retail and front line workers are treated like slaves or second class. I can’t tell you how often in recent years people are straight up abusive towards workers. Haggling isn’t a thing here, and while workers are paid to help you. They aren’t a personal attendant. It’s worse when it’s an immigrant employee and an immigrant customer who expects the same treatment here as they did back home.

What people don't understand is that you can't just start a process in any country unless you have and meet the grounds for starting a process. Each process has its own regulations. Example: For asylum to take place, you have to prove you have a well founded fear of persecution from your home country due to your race, religion, or political opinion. Most of the illegals claiming asylum base on economic hardship, or violence from local gangs, will not win an asylum case. Wanting a better life for your family is not considered valid grounds. The same with legal status: You have to first become a resident which means you have to be petitioned by an immediate family member ( A Parent or sibling with a legal status in the US). Depending who petitioned you, it can be a very lengthy process, up to 26 yrs if your sibling submitted the application! Process is much faster for spouses and kids of US Citizens. Only after several years as a legal resident can you apply for Citizenship. Spouses married to US Citizens is 3 yrs, IF you know english. If you don't you might have to wait till you are 65, when you qualify for the test to be in your native language, but only if you have been a resident more than 20 yrs and so forth. As you can see doing it legally, is a lengthy process, but all these caravans think they can just march in and let the countries accept them without going thru the process and it has caused major problems all the way around. That's why the laws must be enforced to eliminate these invasions!

The fact that we have so many people in the US undocumented and living here for decades tells us that our legal process is not sufficient for allowing people to come legally. Having that many people tells us we need to treat this as a policy problem, not an individual-making-bad-choices problem. And spending billions of dollars on border patrol tactics that still allow for so many illegap immigrants tell us that our resources are grossly misspent. Plus we treat legal asylum seekers as if they were illegal (depriving people of food, keeping them from crossing in the first place) so people will choose whatever method will get them here. People can be here legally for well over a decade before getting a green card and then even longer to get citizenship.

Trump send them home..there is NO place like home....

I’m sick of hearing “ripping families apart “ they shouldn’t be here in the first place, send them back they knew they were breaking the law when they came here.

Ive lived in Winnipeg most my life. Vancouver for a time. It was too tough in vancouver but winnipeg has been very chill. Also as a diabetic I'm greatful for healthcare I only pay for around 20% of my meds. We've talked about moving somewhere where rent is cheaper, meds are cheap and groceries are affordable. But I've never found such place...I stay because the people here are amazingly empathetic, yet very strong. Its sad to have a liberal government that have conservative policies for the rich. Itd be nice to vote NDP for something different.

my dil is mexican and is here legally. last march my son called me very early one morning with the news that his brother in law had been randomly murdered the night before. he was also in this country legally. as is my Dil's younger sister who lives with them. They also recently took in one of her younger sister's high school friends who was pregnant. they kept the girl safe with them until she gave birth. when I visited last may, I brought multiple baby gifts for the girl. when I have posted this before. there were many hateful comments that my son's brother-in law was probably killed by another illegal. Actually he was here in the country legally, as is my daughter-in-law. my DIL works hard doing payroll at a portland contracting company. she is here legally. at this point I can't wrap my mind around the hate that is thrown on people from other countries. most of us have ancesters that came from other places. I know that I do.

Anyone reading this that is planning on crossing the border. I'm gonna be frank with ya. Aside from the fact that you probably shouldn't be trying to circumvent our laws just to avoid a situation you don't like in the USA right now... you also shouldn't be trying to cross our border in what is becoming our winter season. \n\nThere are plenty who try, and many do meet a grim fate due to the elements they are just not prepared for. And even if you think you can do it, or prepare enough to do it, you still shouldn't. There isn't much you can do when you have fallen into one of the many sloughs that hide beneath the snow and ice during winter, waiting to make you a popsicle. And if you get out of that, you still have to somehow get warm again. But let's say you avoid that, what then? Well, we have these really cold biting winds that make the -30 temps feel like -40 or worse. But you came prepared, so let's say you can handle that for a bit. Well, you sweat. You will get damp, then wet, over time. Then your fancy clothing doesn't do much for you anymore. Ya dig?\n\nOh but wait, there's more. So we have this wildlife eh', and it likes to do this thing that wild life does... and it eats you. Coyotes are one such kind of wildlife. Bears are another. Both are prolific in certain areas, all the way down to the border in some cases. \n\nGranted, coyotes usually aren't a huge problem for us up here, but that's cause we know how to deal with them usually. Bears are another issue, that even we have problems with at times. You'll probably run into a black bear if you run into one. Grizzlies tend to be further north and to the west. You're gone too far somehow if you find Polar bears. \n\nThere are other critters to mention, but they're more active in the summer, like rattle snakes. (Yes, we have them)\n\nOkay, so you got past the border, and you actually somehow managed to survive the winter temps in your trek to some sort of civilization. Now you have to somehow find a place to live. This is of course assuming you decided to try to bypass all our border security of course. You could go to an embassy and declare asylum I guess. But right now, you're more likely to be given a ticket back to where you came from initially. So that's not something in the game plan for you. What then?\n\nWelcome to being homeless. Oh, and you're still having to deal with our winter temperatures. \n\nSuffice to say, right now is not a good time to be trying to ignore our laws just to do whatever you want. Consider this a fair warning, as this about all the F's I have to give over it all in regards to your safety. i dropped a long time canadian female at the ottawa Carling ave womens shelter to get away from an abusive husband...to find out she is dealing with violent fighting migrants and immigrants that have filled the place and taken resources from our own homeless people...and all getting welfare no questions asked....and welfare is less than 500 and odsp is 1100 and you have even more of our own people not able to find rooms or apartments and now more people living in the bushes all along the river from billings to downtown near the bike paths...and the local news is saying they are about to bring 2 big tents and bring in migrants to these 2 new centres they are about to pop up making us the new NEW YORK!

Too many people are so uneducated about what Trump is really going to do!! They do NOT understand how tariffs work!! Unlike Kamala’s plan to stop the price gouging in the grocery stores…the GOP will drive prices through the roof!!! Anyone who voted for Trump has a lot of moments ahead of finding out what he was claiming he would do that 1) either he can’t because he doesn’t have the authority to just play God or 2) he had not intended the results that people thought in the first place!! \nBut it is truly going to be a scary time as we watch unemployment start to skyrocket, especially as he gets rid of career government employees!! The unemployment numbers under Biden soon will be a distant memory!! After all, Biden has continued to drop unemployment numbers on a monthly basis, breaking all prior records of low unemployment on a monthly basis for the past 4 years!! The inflation rate which did not include costs of food, were also dropping consistently including this past month!! I believe it under 3% by close to 1/2 a percentage point!\nBut what will truly be frightening will truly be if he accomplishes his plan to get rid of SSI, Medicare & Medicaid as well as the Affordable Care Act!!
