The Century Initiative at work under Trudeau's government, no matter the cost to average Canadians. Getting over a million newcomers a year, with our population climbing at over 3% a year. Population is climbing faster than GDP and it's been seven quarters of GDP per capita falling while rent and average house prices keep skyrocketing. \n\nThis place went from fine to terrible in the span of a decade, just because Trudeau and his buddies think we need 100m people in Canada by 2100, otherwise we'll be doomed. In his mind, it doesn't matter what happens to the rest of us, what matters is the goal. \n\nThis is nothing short of the complete and utter dismantling of Canada under the Libs/NDP, as we go from the envy of the world to a non-developed country. It is actually insane.

Canada needs upstanding citizens from places like Monaco, Monte Carlo and Beverly Hills. We don't need bucket sludge.

It pisses me off that people are coming to Canada and have no respect at all for the place, the rules, the people, etc. you are not a fit. Canada wants immigrants that want to be teammates, not form ghetto neighborhoods of their own kind. I don’t care if you are brown, or have Indian heritage, but I do not want to import India.

India's GDP is twice that of Canada's, in 1.5 decades it will be 6-8x. Canada is a good place to have a enjoyable/comfortable life but the place where you can get rich is India. India will always have a massive market that keep growing at least in the short-medium term. There is going to be endless momey to be made in India.

Canada is not taking advantage of population increase. See in another perspective, if Canada improves their high speed trains and buses, more people will visit more places, dying mining cities will revive etc. If you can reach within one to two hours from far cities, people working in Toronto will look for far places to live. Regarding Brampton, our councillors don't know what is needed for this City. Go and check Kennedy Road from Queen Street to Steel. There is no development. No university in Brampton. Easy to complain. But there is lot development needed in Brampton.

Why do governments always see things 'in hindsight?' Regular everyday, working Americans and Canadians saw it YEARS AGO that this would happen. You can't let the floodgates open to anyone who wants to go to America, Canada, European Countries, without a PLAN in place to address it. There have to be limits, there has to be a PLAN!!!!! Now, those of us born here are suffering because of it too, not just the immigrants who are sold a bill of goods into believing they are moving to a better life. Change Immigration Laws NOW!!!!!! We pay taxes all our lives in our birth country and we are suffering because of politicians who do nothing but talk, talk, talk.

The problem is simple. If its an issue of cost of living, while its true that it is very high, its very high across the industrialized world. That is because the causes influencing cost of living are not related to inside Canada but are being influenced by foreign actors which Canada has no control over. The Ukraine-Russia War for example is causing increases to food costs which are not easily overcome. The situation in the Middle East between Hamas and Israel threatens to spiral into a regional war and that threatens the oil supply and the present price for oil and gas. The Houthi have been making it hard to traverse the Red Sea which is forcing shipping to travel around Africa rather than directly through the Suez Canal to the Mediterranean Sea meaning those additional fuel costs get transferred over to the consumer. As for housing, while efforts to cool housing markets have been made, Canada's housing market is still relatively hot meaning the prices remain high in big cities. Its like a perfect storm. Increased costs on mortgages are an attempt to push down inflation but in the short term you are going to feel that as well. Also we are living in a transition period as the world sinks back to the older model of trade before before Bretton Woods in 1947 which is leading to a decoupling of product lines that at one time coming from Asia were cheap but are not more expensive because they are being made back in the home countries. Transitions do come with a price. Finally, add taxes which help to deal with health care, social programs and government services like embassies, foreign missions and the army well yeah its a perfect storm.\n\nI hope you have luck where you end up but do not for a minute assume that the grass is greener on the other side. Even Japan which attempts to keep certain costs low, has been forced to increase its national consumption taxes to offset overall costs. It isn't going to get cheaper but more expensive as we move back to the old trade model. However, as the world weans itself off of the World Trade Organization and the IMF, the world also re-opens the potential to a Great Depression because that was the reason Bretton Woods appeared in the first place. The world isn't going to get better but far worse.

I have been hearing this racist rant since I came 53 years ago blaming the immigrants. I have never worked less than 50 hrs a week since coming to Canada and am enjoying my hard-earned retirement. I'm afraid you don't mention that all Students must bring at least $50,000 for their duration. Imagine all the jobs they created e.g. Teachers, bought food and other essentials. By the way, they have their own medical insurance. There is a shortage of workers, and small businesses can find workers. The other day we stopped in Barry'Bay for coffee they were closing the place at 2:30 pm because they didn't have enough people. You cannot blame students for the housing crisis there are other factors. Canada's economy is doing fine compared to other G-7 countries. More foreign students will fuel the research and development of this country, so please respect them.

Thanks so much for this video! I admire the hard working and awesome culture of most people I have met who have come to Canada from India! We definitely needed help in filling in the deficit of employees that are needed in Canada! It is a shame that ALL political parties did not solve the housing issue which we knew was going to be a problem, many decades ago, even well before the Harper government! This is not rocket surgery! LOL\nIn Northern Ontario we have a LOT of Indian immigrants. All the ones I have met are very well educated even though they are working in the service industries! I know several Indian Canadians who are Doctors, Teachers and Engineers! Almost all of my experiences have been positive! Of course it is human nature to always highlight issues, for example: I caught one group of people throwing garbage in a parking lot, and immediately notified them that they had dropped something, and even followed them with the garbage. One of the group stated, it was just trash. I told him there was a garbage can right over there, and I just KNEW that they did not want to throw it just lose on the ground, and wanted to help keep our town clean. They said sorry and politely picked it up and placed it in the garbage can. Hopefully lesson learned! I politely and respectfully spoke out, to a good resolution.\nMy parents were immigrants from war-torn Germany. I know ALL about prejudice for new immigrants. Our parents being German-Canadian at a time right after WW2, where MOST Canadians had an Uncle, a Father, a Grandfather or someone they knew who had fought and some died because of Germans! Although I am not a person of colour, so I personally do not know that side of prejudice. We all need to treat each person as an individual and try not to paint all peoples with one brush! Ive lost all respect for indian nationals in this country. They are rude, do not care about others and act like they are entitiled to everything when they are just guests.\nMy family and i used to visit a nearby lake on hot summer days. \nIts been a tradition for soo many years. This year we pulled up to the beach and it was over crowded. I have never see that many indian nationals in on space in canada.\nWe left and decided to come back a couple days later. My god. The garbage! They didnt even have the decency to clean up after themselves! Fire pits full of partly burned garbage all over the place.\n\nIF YOU CANNOT RESPECT OUR COUNTRY, GO HOME! imagine how the indian authorities would act if it was canadian students protesting on their soil. Deport ASAP! \nStudents should focus on studying not working if their parents don’t have enough money to support them in Canada, they shouldn’t come here in the first place.

Canada needs to have more than 3 major cities. So new immigrants should only be send to smaller, less populous cities. They need to invest, expand and grow other cities so we don't oversaturate 3 places while the rest of the country is stagnating. I can name way more than 3 economically vibrant American cities so we should have the same.

I left Canada 30 years ago and it was still a great place to live. Today, I would never move back. The Canada I grew up in and loved, is gone.

I recently worked in a fast food restaurant owned by a foreign national, to begin with there was about a half and half mix between the foreign students and Canadians, it was well run, nice place to work and we pretty much got along, suddenly the owner started advertising for help only in his own language newspaper, as the usual turnover took place all the new hires were of his nationality, students who were limited to 20 hours per week wound up working more hours than the full time workers which in my books left me wondering how much studying they were getting in, Covid hit, I asked the boss if he was going to sign up for getting us paid instead of laying us off, he said he wasn't eligible for that program and laid us off, after he laid us off he applied for and got on the program, suddenly names the Canadian supervisor had never seen working for us appeared on the payroll and mysteriously when we got back to normal and got called back they never did appear in our restaurant. I'm not a racist, have always loved working with other nationalities, but rules are there for a reason and need to be enforced, a lot of folks are taking advantage of our lax enforcement. If you want to work in Canada you should apply for the permit before you come, if you come as a student you need to be a student, if you come as a refugee you should declare that status before you get on a plane. When we have people living on the streets and in cars because housing is not affordable we need to question how many folks we are bringing in.

In Vancouver, the home prices are skyrocketing, the personal taxes are almost half the income, the people are too busy to work to mingle. I don't like the thought that people can do supported drug use freely. It's beyond me to understand that. Why would a governemnt provide drugs for addicts in the guise of harm reduction? I was in Hastings 3 weeks ago and I saw the crackheads just blatantly doing drugs in the streets. A lot of used up needles are on the ground. There is a market of stolen stuff. It is quite scary to walk around. My son don't like it here even when he is born here. The kids are becoming cynical and angry for no reason. A lot just bully for fun. Prostitution is legal and rampant, you would think the young pretty girls are innocent but a lot are actually sugar babies. I'm in the medical field but I don't support euthanasia. I'm quite open-minded but not to the point of loosing my morals just because Canada is allowing it. It is also getting saturated with races with various beliefs. While I don't mind them, I worry that the tensions & clashes may become too close for comfort. In short, I think the country is becoming too expensive & liberated to raise a young imppresionable child in. Yes, we are also leaving Canada for an affordable, safer, more fun & happy place. It doesn't matter if it is not as progressive as Canada for as long as there is better humanity in the place...

It's gonna take decades for Canada to be restored again cz all immigrants ground in one place. The only way for Canada to be restored is if all new immigrants are taken to occupy the densily populated cities where houses will be built jobs will be created & they need to live there fir 10 years strictly without moving yo nig cities period!

dude, I think you are too busy smelling your own f@rts. I know so many people even before 2018 who were citizens of Canada and they could not find anything that pays more than 45K a year. Do you have any idea how expensive rent is in GTA? Are you telling me that those temporary workers took all those 50K jobs? LOL. The real problem is, Canadian corporations and government is sooooooooooooooo corrupt that they bring people from India on visitor visas and ask them to perform tasks that should be performed by highly skilled workers such as in high tech sector. No wonder our data is stolen so comfortably all the damn time. Besides that, corruption is so high that they deliberately kill any new ideas because that will inflate the salaries. So, those old fat rich SOBs will NEVER let young immigrants introduce new ideas, setup new startups and get frustrated and move to the US. Good about time! No more immigration for now. Housing, jobs, health care, and so much more are in trouble cause we allowed to many in. Canada is very big. Why all those migrants are only in big cities. They should be moved to places when they can find work and housing is not so expansive. I know Indian people who are doing very well in Dawson City. They are amazing and loved part of community. Canada needs more people. Those who are willing to contribute not those who like to exploit our welfare system.

Maybe theres some Canadians who hate Indians, but Canadians as a whole do not hate Indians. \n\nI'm a 3rd generation Canadian. Our mother tongue is almost never used at this point. We speak English, we took on the Canadian way of life and culture. Canada doesnt look the same anymore. I'm told White people are the vast majority here, yet I don't see that many White skinned folks like I used to. In fact, almost every store, fastfood restaurant, facilities, my own work place, White skinned folks are by far the minority in these environments.

Look, I'm a white Canadian, and I don't hate Indians at all. However, lately, there are far too many Indians arriving here. I live in a small town, and the vast majority of the workers in all our franchise restaurants, Walmart, hotels, etc, are Indian. Yes, some Indians really have been pooping on the beach. I've seen videos posted by Indians about Indians pooping on beaches in places like Goa. No, not all Indians do that, but it doesn't reflect well on Indians. My next-door neighbours are Indian immigrants, and stereotypically, they own a pizza franchise lol. Their children play at our house with our daughter almost every day. On a negative note, they only hire other Indians to work in their store. In general, the indians that are in Canada do need to work on their cultural integration. My neighbours brought their parents over, and they aren't even trying to learn English. I don't want Canada to become like India. Also, I dont think that most Indian immigrants really want that either, but if we keep flooding Canada with Indians, that will eventually happen.

Time to move on I guess. Canada is rated quite highly in terms of places to live, the reason so many people want to immigrate here. Years ago vacation meant a car trip probably a few hundred kilometers from home, and that's only if mom or dad could afford it. Now if people can't go on a tropical vacation 3 times a year they cry. We had one car, not 2 or 3 fully optioned like today. Good luck on finding somewhere better, and make room for people who want to be here.

The indian international students have alot of money in the bank but theyre showing up to homless aid places where they canadians give homeless canadians food they show up there and droves with the 15 household members taking all the food then making youtube videos on how to get free food in Canada. And now these international students specially the ones from india. They are selling fentaly, there stealing citzens and business vehicles and kidnapping. You can look this up yourselfs. In my work place it is 90% Indian. I'm one of the few white people born and raised in Canada. \nNo English is spoken during lunch break or very little is spoken. \nThis creates alienation among the employees and the few that are non-Indian no longer use the lunchroom and prefer to sit elsewhere or in their cars.\nThis happens in the community as well and Canadians are feeling excluded from society.\nIn regards to racism. How prevalent is racism from Indians directed at white Canadians?

A good start would be if you wanted to assimilate to Canada. Don't be rude, try to learn the language and don't bring bad behavior over. You move from India to be in a better place, so don't make it worse here, to accommodate you.

You come to Canada, presumably for a better education. Take this knowledge, and your skill set back to India, to make it a better place to live. Otherwise, Canada becomes a country of Indians. Simple math, 1.6 BN Indians, 40 MN Canadians. What percentage of Indians, Chinese, and others have to move to Canada to eventually become the majority?
