I think the reporter should do proper research. Human development index(education, job, safety, etc.) and the number of overstaying Indians are the major factors why they tend to reject a lot of applicants from India. If India could provide a better living standard, its people would tend to return and not to overstay abroad. But this is not the case. The number of Indians wanting to migrate abroad manifests otherwise. It seems like there is a scarcity of resources in India. No wonder they are shocked that people abroad give tips for a service.

Why don't these people try and make their country better? All these single men need to grow a pair and fight like all of the young men that gave their lives for this country. This is bs that Biden has allowed this.

As an NRI for a decade in Germany, I can assure you that not a single person in the developed western world looks at India with a nicer opinion. They think of it as a necessary baggage. They will only allow Visa on Arrival/E-Visa for people whom they respect and would like to be in the country. While I do not want to get into how some Indians behave when they are on their EU trip, Indians in India do not behave well too. This involves hygiene, roads, infrastructure, intelligence, corruption, etc. Indians tend to look at the Indian flag with tears in their eyes while listening to A.R. Rahman’s “Vande Mataram” with Bharat Bala’s video. But the reality in the western world is this: India is a loud, messy, unhygienic, poorly organized country filled with corruption and crime everywhere. Now, why would a well-developed country open their doors to potentially unruly 1.4 billion people? The reason for visa rejection is that a lot of them simply apply for a tourist visa and never leave. If someone really needs to travel, they will have the money and the motivation to apply multiple times. Hence, the first check with multiple layers of bureaucracy.

This happens CONSTANTLY to immigrants in Canada. The person is not reacting, because it happens very often. That man would not speak to a white person like that. I’m an Indian passport holder living abroad due to personal reasons. I’m eligible for the citizenship of a country that most people would dream to get but I do not like to apply for the same because then I would have to renounce my Indian citizenship (India does not allow dual citizenship). Indians themselves are responsible for visa rejections because most of our people (not all) go under the disguise of tourists with the intention to settle in that country. What kind of treatment would you expect then? I came legally and despite never compromising with my cultural values, I have always felt welcomed in the country that I live in. It’s about how you present yourself in the country that you live in. People are good everywhere in this world.

A lot of Indians treat white people really badly. Especially when there is money involved. It’s now extremely common that people here hate dealing with Indians as customers of their business and will go as far as avoid it altogether. They will often relentlessly try to negotiate services, lie and say anything to get get their way, pester businesses until they cave to their demands and even leave bad reviews which they say they will change if you give them a good deal. None of this is the way things are done in Canada and that needs to be respected. Something kind of funny, I’ve heard many people say that Indians will often say they will refer tons of friends and family to a business if you give them an unreasonable discount (which they never do once they’ve gotten what they want), but what they don’t realize is that referring a bunch more Indians to them is the last thing that business wants. And really, some of the discounts they want on things are just ridiculous. When I was selling my car a few years ago, I had it listed for $55,000 and I got bombarded by Indians offering $20,000-$25,000 and every lie under the sun of why that’s all it was worth, other people are saying yes to offers like that for the same car, dealerships are selling them for that much and so on. Like come on. And I guess while I’m at it, I hate to say but it’s a common thing here to walk into a gas station and the smell of body odour just hits you like a brick. It's a stupid report, obviously the visa rejection will be high if the visa applications are high from a most populated country in the world it's basic common sense , i would say India have the highest visa grant these days, I'm from India came to Australia it's not ecen harf if u have the right documents and if you're not faking anything, I'm pretty sure the rejections are mostly because of fake documents especially from Punjab and Haryana so it's good that they are not letting fake people i mean then what's the point of doing all this right way? We have like idiots and uncultured people outside. We shout like idiots, treat the locals poorly. I once saw a person who thought the air hostess in a Bhubaneswar- Thailand flight was a prostitute and started touching her and taking pictures. You have plans to settle there. Many people do go to these countries as tourists but they know very well who seems like a tourist and who doesn’t.

Yeah I'm Canadian with a lot of health issues yeah you don't have to pay but sometimes the wait can be long like 21 hours at the emergency + the time to see the er doc and if you need tests that would make it longer. Just recently my waiting time was 16 hours. I live in Ontario and we get a lot of Quebec people because their waiting time can be way much longer.

The reason for Indian visa being in the 81st rank is the number of people who want to migrate....other countries cannot allow lakhs of Indians who wish to relocate to their country....on the other hand, countries like Kosovo or Burkina Faso are tiny countries by population and have a very low rate of migration to other countries....Indian large-scale migration can be seen as a threat by other countries....

I went to NZ for a holiday a year ago. Honestly, the Kiwis don't like Indian at all.
