Anyone else think like this? Zero empathy for drug users. Zero empathy for refugee fraudsters. Canadian citizens who want to contribute to society should be priority one. Anyone who is only taking and not contributing shouldn't have a vote.

It’s very sad and sick. What’s happening to people in Canada? It shouldn’t be happening they have to clean it up. I understand people fall in their lives but they gotta realize they need to not give up on life. That’s what happens now. With all the migrants they’re bringing in majority of them Are OK but they gotta bring in people that wanna work learn a trade and work for the lives. This should stop immigration for now. Our system can’t take any more of the stuff in the software for the Canadians that worked hard all their lives to deal with all this and stuff for themselves.

Hallelujah! It's been insane! Many cities don't even look like a Canadian city from even 5 years ago. Places like Toronto etc now all look like New New Delhi. It's sad to see Canadian culture being wiped out. And there is no place to live. The immigration policy in Canada is the most aggressive in world history (about 5x more immigrants per capita than places like US or Britain which also have way too aggressive immigration policies). \n\nIt's odd how we are always told here that people shouldn't marry or have kids for environmental/climate reasons (ugh) and yet Canada is bringing in so many people trying to QUADRUPLE our population by 2100. People who come to Canada after receiving their PR struggle way too much. When you apply for a job here, they require you to have 1 year of Canadian working experience. How does someone fulfill that criteria if they've just landed in a new country? The government should instead open PR for only blue-collar jobs, which are actually in high demand. The whole immigration program otherwise feels like a scam. You shouldn't be getting any points for your educational and professional qualifications in the application when, in reality, it's not going to help you afterward. Most of the people I know here are planning a relocation because they don't see themselves owning a house anytime soon.

Any other country in the world would limit the number of international students coming into their own countries. Why shouldn't Canada limit our own borders and allow Canadians to afford and have housing at home? We are already accepting +1 million immigrants and refugees. Came to Canada from Kuwait looking for a better future. Big mistake, shouldn't have flapped my gums at work, i had a decent banking job with a career and a future. Now im stuck driving a effin truck with a bachelors degree to make slightly above average with 0 appreciation from the public, and a middle finger to say thank you for my 70 hour work weeks. I see my bed once every 3 days. I sleep next to rats and roaches in truck by the ports. Belittled by port workers and customs agents. Barked at by everyone down to a forklift driver. Looked at as lesser of a human because of the colour of my skin. What a horrible life :( My sister has already left and she was a dentist in Toronto. My mom went back ages ago. My dad is the only one wanting to stay to take care of his elderly patients, many rely on him. All i do is pay taxes and hide my money in the business, what a corrupt and horrible financial system.

As a former international student (now citizen) I find it crazy that these diploma mills exist, I never understood how intl students can be so poor when I had to pay around $150k for my high school + university education. \n\nI'm shocked that the doors are so open that literally anybody can come in, that's not how it's supposed to work, going abroad to study is a privilege, Canada SHOULD be more selective about who comes through. \n\nAnd don't come at me about pulling the ladder up from behind me bullshit, I don't have a problem with intl students that go through the proper channels, but an intl student shouldn't have to work to survive, I worked because I needed experience on my resume ?. Yes, it's a privilege, AS IT SHOULD BE.

You can NOT buy anything for a dollar in Canada. Not even a pack of gum, not even a can of Coke, nothing. But we have more resources than most of the world and shouldn't have to pay for anything. A disgrace.

The matter is more about making sure that Canadians who wants to go to post-high-school degrees shouldn't have to be drowned in debts in order to get the career of their dream. Foreign students are a good thing but not in a context where only the rich and privileged can go to university unless getting drowned in debts.

it shouldn't even be a question. we are accepting way too many. it would not be a problem if we spent the last decade or two focusing on improving health care, expanding transportation and infrastructure, attracting jobs, building homes and so on. unfortunately we didn't do that sufficiently. we haven't even started to see the implications of this yet. in 5-10 years time the situation for everyone is going to be more dire than it has been in the last 1-2 years. we are in for very rough times all because we have an addiction to electing utterly useless governments no matter which side of the ideological aisle they sit on. if you think there's a lack of housing, not enough doctors, overcrowded transit systems etc now, it'll be a shock in years time. even if we started to improve these things now, it is not going to keep up to the demand

Why is Canada bringing international students from a poor family...if they can't afford to live in Canada then they shouldn't be coming to Canada.?? The answer is yes. Those students know that it is a ticket to stay. A foot in the door. They are a strain on government services, housing, food banks and most come here without proper resources that is one of the requirements for entry. Even if they pay more it shouldn't take spaces that Canadian should be entitled to. They take jobs that belong to Canadians, housings that belong to Canadians. In london ontario close to 12 thousand international students take up the affordable housing for people of london. This causes so much distress on the low income people try to find a place .Then greed of developers and landlords causes the rents to go up so much that those on fixed incomes can't afford there rents and rent evictions happen as landlord look to cash in . Time to stop this madness. Local government in london has done little to stop this issue either.

Canada is accepting to many people. We have a massive housing shortage, and when we can't house our own people, we shouldn't work on housing outsiders. It's an objective scale. We should outright stop accepting new people until our housing situation is fixed.

There's a simple solution here, force the schools to provide sufficient housing to whomever of their students that wants it. This is absolutely solvable if they want it to be, and they shouldn't be competing with low-income folks for family housing. \n\nAlso, those second tier schools should only provide classes that match up with Canada's needs in terms of trained workers

Diploma mills need to be shut down. We're becoming a joke internationally for our education. We cheapen it overall and thats just bad business for Canada internationally and internally. Schools should be providing housing, we shouldn't allow unaccredited schools to be allowed to accept international students. Accredited schools want to being em in to learn they better provide the supports so that were not putting kids in jeopardy like this.

Im a Canadian citizen and I live in Canada for more than 30 years the problem in this country is the government system is not good this is a kind of communist system and it will get worse if the system in Canada is not changed and the thing about having Canadian experience this is a crap and this is a stupidity. People from Canada which they are born there and they have business there they have to allow people and to receive people with their work experience and they shouldn't discriminate other people this is a their mentality and needs to be changed. Even though the Israeli government removed the Jews from the Gaza Strip against their free will in 2005, who had lived in the Gaza Strip for long time themselves. In 2006 a year later the Hamas came into power by killing off their opponents and rivalry. We don't want the Gaza or even the West Bank to become another Syria where millions of Syrians were forced from their homes and country because of the Civil War going there. So I understand what that Arab Saudi is talking about. ?
