However, when Azerbaijan spoke out about the injustices we suffered at the hands of Armenia—with the backing of Russia—the world did not stand with us. Instead, without proper investigation, they sided with the aggressors, making an unfair judgment. At that time, I prayed for their eyes to be opened. Now, tragically, it seems like karma has come full circle. My heart goes out to the people of Ukraine, and I sincerely feel for their suffering.
