Skilled? Tim Horton's isn't something we need to import people for. We need Doctors. I think there is a plan to turn Canada into the new India. Within 4 blocks of where I live there is now almost 30 Indian restaurants..... Might be a dozen other types. It's one thing to come here, respect the way of life and another to force your way of life on us. I love Indian culture and Indian people. But we have a culture here and i'd like to keep it alive. the infrastructure of Canada cannot handle a million new people a year. the Liberal government has exploited international students and temporary workers too much and needs to be reigned in. these policies and practices do not benefit Canadians, only landlords and franchise owners and the tax collectors are getting the benefits. you and i get inflated demand on rent and food prices. overcrowded classrooms and hospitals. delivery drivers who can't understand english and drive like maniacs. this is exacerbating the housing crisis in such a way that a single person cannot compete for the cost of a one bedroom apartment when a group of indians will share the cost with as many as seven people in one unit. our infrastructure, housing and transit was never intended to have this many people. there isn't even any rapid transit outside a handful of cities. mass immigration is also leading to election interference and could be used to vote in WEF garbage that will ruin even more nice things we take for granted. our high trust society is gone. shameless life hacks and citizenship of convenience is all most migrants are coming for. mass immigration is bringing down the standard of living in Canada. poverty and homelessness are out of control. whether its the chaos of crime or the eyesore of encampments. whether its was just a package on your porch or your car stolen from your driveway, the government isn't handling the load that mass immigration is putting on society and Canada's legal system is a joke. its almost like the Liberals are actively recruiting an army of psychopaths just to vote for them. the drugs and the gangs and the organized crime isn't worth the hollow platitudes and desperate social programs.

I do agree cAnada is taking way to many immigrants. also people in your video are right about not adapting the culture like they should. canada should higher the level of English u need. I think requirements are pretty low. don’t see any thing wrong with speaking your own language with your people. Many collages and universities have low level of requirements so they can have more international students to make money from. Irony is all these people who are getting interviewed are first and second generation immigrants as well. Due to the inbuild hate towards other immigrants you would only get one answer which is there are too many. All you need to do is ask regular people from Ottawa to Toronto and you'll find out that one city says another thing while another city says another. It's all centrist circlejerk politics. The only people that talk about immigration and try to do even a moderate about of fascism is Quebec... disguised as French identity, of course. It's funny though, if you genuinely ask people, you'll find they don't like it. But if you ask people working for the government, health care, they are the most entitled, stuck up and naive people imaginable. I am an immigrant who came here legally, respected the laws and paid taxes. I am really fed up with the current government and how things have been handled. Enough is enough. We Need to close the borders

I totally agree with you.. we came here to adopt the beautiful Canadian culture and not end up with the same things back home. One of the major reason why some of us prefer staying in other small towns of Canada rather than Surrey or Brampton. Immigration policies need to be updated. There’s nothing wrong with staying connected with your roots, but all of us immigrants need to adapt to new culture ?

I was an immigrant and i say f immigration. We have problems here we dont need more immigrants to make things worst. I got 3 tenants who are immigrants being paid 1300 each per month for room and 600-800 for spending and they get their meals at the food bank. Guess where their money is going to?

The worst part is they take advantage of the governments loopholes, they don't respect Canadian culture... and like one of the interviewees said, they are only accepting their kind in workplaces. As I understand it, it all goes back to the province of Quebec. to get Quebec to join Canada, education was made a provincial thing, not a national thing. This means that there is no national education policy in Canada, unlike a lot of comparable nations. This means it is very difficult to plan, and educate the work force to fulfill anticipated needs. The solution? Put it on the list! Immigration Canada has a list of jobs that Canada needs to fill. If you would like to immigrate to Canada, and you have work history or education for something on the list, you're in! This is much easier that investing in Canadians and planning 5-10 years ahead. If we need more nurses...put it on the list! If we need more engineers...put it on the list! If we have too many already...take it off the list. A lot of immigrants are disappointed when they get here, because from the outside, Canada seems great. Yes, it is a very safe country, and has a lot going for it. But people may be surprised to find that they have been allowed into the country, to fill jobs no one else wants. And it's a lot of work to move here from another country, so immigrants tend to get stuck in a bad situation.

I was out walking my dog and these 2 immigrants approached me and asked me if I would like to talk about Jesus. I suddenly had an uneasy feeling. I replied if you take one step closer to me you will need more than Jesus so step away now. Can't even to for a walk without being approached by them. I've had other dealings with them and they have not been good. They are entitled and thing we should bow at their feet. Time to deport a few million.

I’m a Canadian nurse and I lived in the US for 10 years during my career. I did it when I was young to gain work experience and travel with friends. It gave me a lot of insight in how it feels to live in both countries. I’ve been a nurse and patient in both counties so I also know how it feels to work, live and be a resident in both. \n\nI cannot articulate enough how it has confirmed to me how fortunate I am to be Canadian. The perks to living in the US were very superficial and frivolous things that matter very little in the broad scheme of things,….which I see as more restaurant chains, cheaper restaurant food, more shopping options, etc. As a young person when I lived there,…those things seemed amazing but matter far less as I get older. \n\nWhen I lived there, I paid a fraction of the income taxes that I paid in Canada but it’s only short term gain for long term pain. The cost of health care, the amounts of gov funded benefits (disability, EI, pension, etc) in the US makes it well worth paying taxes to offset these things as in Canada. I have had cancer 3 times in 5 years and I’ve not paid a cent for treatment, scans, surgery, etc in Canada. My employer held my job for 2 years and I received long term disability of 70% of my yearly wages and my employer paid my full pension and benefits as I was off of work. After 2 years, my cancer returned and was deemed incurable so I will continue to receive this pay and benefits until I’m 65 and can retire as I can no longer work. I have no financial worries as I battle cancer. \n\nTo contrast,…my US employer was a world reknowned hospital that had excellent pay and benefits. Had I been working there when I was diagnosed with cancer, I would only have gotten full pay for 6 weeks until my sick time and vacation time was used up. Then I was eligible for a fraction of my income for 3 months, which would not be enough to live on. I would not have had my pension paid. After that, I’d receive no more pay and my employer would hold my job without pay for 6 months and then I’d be let go. My cancer required nearly 2 years off of work so after 5 months of this minimal pay, I’d have no income, no job and no benefits with a new pre existing condition to ensure that I’d have a snowballs chance in hell of getting future coverage. Meanwhile during that 5 months of some pay, I’d still need to pay huge costs of treatment despite having insurance but that would disappear after I was let go from my job. I’d have to return to work during my treatment just to afford to continue it. I have many US friends that had a similar cancer that worked throughout to cover basic cancer care while I was able to recuperate without working or fearing being unable to pay. There is nothing comparable to this when you are sick. It is everything!\n\nSadly, many of my American friends are very ill informed on how health care works in other countries and don’t see the shortcomings in their own. Ironically though, they are willing to argue it without proper information so I often find that bizarre. While lived there I felt as though I was in a bubble where the only news that I saw was US news. I saw no info or minimal about Canada in my whole time there,…aside from falsehoods about health care to scare people away from seeking change. “Canadians are all dying while waiting”, “they are all coming to the US for care”, “they pay 80% income tax” etc. All propaganda,…some from politicians or those that should know better. It was truthfully mind boggling to me how educated people could know so little about the world. It almost felt as though they heard so much propaganda about how terrible other places were while only having knowledge of the US, that it ensured that things would stay the same without anyone wanting beneficial changes to dysfunctional policies (like health care, cost of meds, lack of gun regulations, etc). It’s very bizarre.

With all due respect saying the govt should help them get jobs here doesn't reflect what they do for most who were born here or immigrated otherwise than coming as an international student. It's not a right to stay. I feel bad for those who were sold a lie by the immigration consultants but something needs to be done to fix things as it's so badly broken. We're not promised all of these things that some of the students are thinking they're entitled to now that they're here. Sadly too many feel so entitled nowadays regardless of where they come from

Easy fix. CHOOSE where you spend money. Choose who you work for and supply support for. Choose Canadian business that have ties to Canada not another country, make sure the income from businesses and personal gains stay in Canada. It used to be easier to live here. Housing costs doubled in even the past 5 years. Everyone who has lived here for a long time who are not immigrants are facing similar barriers. When ur in other countries as a immigrant or ur basically a guest so follow the country law that ur immigrant in I feel like even tho I am from India live in Canada since 2014 I feel like I have to follow the rule of Canada I mean I am Canadian citizen now but still I can do my culture things too but at same time when other countries says no knifes in any public places or guns without any license even tho it’s part of ur religion it’s the rule u need to follow ur culture doesn’t work in other countries only work if it’s safe otherwise there nothing much u can do. Canada’s statistics are no different than Australia, USA and France for example in terms of homelessness and home ownership. Our foreign born population is about 20% -Australia it’s 22% - the USA the most immigrant fearing nation around has only 13% - that’s something to strive for lady!. \n\nCanada needs immigrants and lots of them to fill positions Canadian borns are too posh to do. \n\nWorld wide interest rates are high, housing developers are running into delays with things like world wide shortages and local communities having long convoluted permit processes, and volatile prices for home construction materials etc. \n\nWe Canadians are happy to buy from Chinese and USA manufacturers to the point we depend yet again on global markets. \n\nThe bottom line is the Provinces have authority over housing and haven’t wanted the Federal Government to butt in at all. Tim hortans huh let me tell u one thing the government forced us to do such jobs they want the immigrants to work basic level jobs to get PR. How about that u do some research and check the points system anyone with a good job who is contributing towards the growth of the country would be held under the pressure of points system and would be forced to do jobs which has lower crs points or go to provinces like this which don’t have enough jobs to support our qualifications. Especially people from India, they are everywhere. The thing is, Indians also brought unfair practice to Canada. When a local store got taken over by Indians, they tend to only hire fellow Indians and leave nothing for Canadians. If an Indian got promoted into HR in a company, that person will most likely to hire Indians only. There are so many unfortunate examples around us. We need to do something! The thing is, the employers of Canada do not really need immigrants. The government entities however need more taxable warm bodies and more outside financial resources, hence the misadvertisement “we will welcome you with the open arms”. Translation: Come here and we will suck you dry while you are hoping to make it here. It is a scam, but on a whole country level. Canada is a scam.

Very disappointed in Pierre Pollieve over this one issue. They need to go back to India. We don't need competition for food, housing, and jobs. Aren't things bad enough right now without the pressure of all these so called students ? Pierre what are you thinking ? Kindness and compassion us Canadians have . This feels like we are being taken advantage of.

To some up things in KANADA, our students are NOT being taught properly for health, well-being and or purpose. We need to be taught for meaning, purpose and mission and being of service to others. Trudeau says the number of international students has grown at a rate that if far more than Canada can absorb. That said, the bas supposition isn't wrong. The bubble we've been sitting on for 20 or so years has completely burst. As someone born and raised in the Toronto area, it's impossible for me to afford to own a house or apartment here on a teacher's salary. Even rent pushes me to the limit unless I want to live in a... less than nice area. I'm living hand to mouth and enjoying the benefits of living in a 'developed' country less. Here's why:\n\n1. Wages aren't really even close to keeping up with the cost of living. The first tick upwards a bit. The second just keeps rising on the back of housing, food, amenities, and inflation: the four horsemen.\n\n2. Our grocery cabal ruthlessly raise prices whenever we look away, and their lobbyists are all ensconced within the leadership of our three major parties, particularly the Conservatives (so if anyone thinks that electing them will help, they're in for a nasty surprise).\n\n3. We're experiencing 'labour shrinkflation': increasing duties are downloaded onto workers and more is expected: more productivity, more availability (almost 24/7 in some jobs), and higher qualifications. Meanwhile, real wages are decreasing relative to living cost, more positions are 'contract', which is basically a way for employers to not have to give you benefits, and job security is tenuous for a lot of people.\n\n4. Houses are being bought by investors and not owners. Foreign entities are money laundering. The wealthy upper crust of high population countries are moving here and buying property because Canada is (still) more safe and stable and less repressive than their home countries in most cases. \n\n5. There's a cycle beginning: as people are squeezed and forced to spend more on 'needs', they spend less on eating out, entertainment, and other 'wants'. These are significant drivers of the service economy and they're being hit hard. So, what can they do? They can let go of workers or lower product costs to remain profitable, but they their quality declines and, in a market where people are pinching every penny and looking for quality for their dollar, they're less likely to go back. They can raise their prices, of course, but then they price people out completely and their profits still tank. I went to a decent steakhouse for my dad's 60th last week. I can't remember the last time that I went to one before that. \n\n6. Our politicians and news cycles focus on the most niche and irrelevant stuff because it'll stoke anger and get tongues wagging. This carbon thing is almost a non-issue, but our conservative leader is harping on about it like it's singlehandedly the death of the Canadian economy when it's a drop in the bucket. Trudeau focuses on 'equity' measures, hoping for a bit of cheap good press, while his efforts are, for the most part, just window dressing and the issues, while meaningful, are often not of paramount importance or even applicable to the vast majority of the people who elected him. Meanwhile, the middle class is pretty much evaporating as he speaks. The NDP keep talking about this in a pretty real way, for what it's worth, but Jagmeet Singh is giving off an increasing vibe of just being another fat cat politician beneath his rhetoric these days. Also, third-party trolls and screeching conservatives try to bury him on social media whenever he speaks... a lot more than other leaders as well, oddly. I wonder why? Oh yeah, the Greens exist and there's Quebec and the conspiracy theory party.\n\n\nUltimately, what we're experiencing is the revenge of the feudal system. Instead of paying rents to your lord and doing labour on the land for him whenever commanded to, you pay rent to your landlord now and go to work even when you're sick or when work hours are over because you have no union protection or are working 'on contract'. Unless we want to live in the armpit of nowhere, 95% of us are going to be wage slaves living hand-to-mouth, not owning our own property, and working to please our corporate overlords if current trends continue unchecked. While some of Canada's problems are unique, I fear that most aren't. As for me, I'm headed to the 'armpit of nowhere' where I can at least have a ghost of a chance of affording life.

Only thing missing during the disgraceful show of disrespect and sense of entitlement these dishonorable Indian people are exhibiting are signs against white Supremacy and colonialism. \n I say Canadians need their own atifada to rid ourselves of all of these super shady foreign characters for good.

The lies surrounding guns in Canada and the ban/sad attempt to confiscate them. How can it be legal to cause economic damage (the firearms industry), destroy family wealth (value of the firearms + accessories) and endanger lives with a population's firearms for political purposes and votes? The CBC reported that a Liberal source said this whole thing was for votes. \nNot only that, it seriously weakens Canada when it needs to be seen as strong and free in the face of totalitarian countries like Russia and China.

Protesting in another country where you are a student is not allowed and the act itself can get you deported. However, the scams the Canadian colleges and universities do in countries like India and Pakistan is terrible. These students pay almost double the money local kids do. They r most times highly qualified and have availed of an opportunity offered by these institutes. When such things happen, its obvious that they are unhappy. I think the Indian government needs to start issuing advisory. I don't think its worth it, I wish people understood this. The US, Germany/Europe,UK even Australia is much different. Believe it or not, a lot of these students wish to pay back student loans and get out of this scam. Canada is beautiful, but the amount of scams here, prepostrous.

Do we as Christians have our rights preserved by something profound, or do we have to give up more of out beliefs to make others happy. I think we as Canadians have been accommodating, remember we gave our daily Lords Prayer. How much more do they want us to give up?
