Hello Brother,\n\nI am holding a Bachelor's degree and planning to enroll for MCA (specialization in cloud computing) in distance learning mode for 2 years (UGC-DEB-AICTE Approved university). I am just curious to know if a Distance mode Master degrees are valid for Canada Immigration purpose and to find a job there?\n\nOr any better way to check degree equivalency ?\n\nBased on my Bachelor's degree completed in 2011 I have 9 years of experience in IT.

For Canada small thing like broken arm or need information or certain medication i n that way Canada supior way, it's fairly quick treatment and tends to be effictive. Where Canada starts lagging behind is really in RnD and access to life saving procedures. Too many people die on waiting lists in Canada as there is not enough resources to go around, y'all have waited 4-8 H(normal is 2-4) just to be seen before don't fib to web now. \n\nAnd since we lack competition for newer/better medical procedure, 80-90% of our medical knowledge comes from the states or ww2 Germany.\n\nWhile on say the USA side, due to the competition they are constantly making advancements (which in the long run makes overall treatment cheaper and closer affordable). While with Canada you have fixed prices, which actually encourages stagnantion in development as anything that streamlines the hospital making it more efficient hurst the hospitals next year of available funding.. while being hurt in the USA can really set the individual back.\nIn Canada you get an overall lower quality of care as the talented doctors end up moving to the states where they can get paid what they are worth not stuck on a fixed income. And after all that rare illnesses in canada as stated don't have any coverage meaning that any one hit with hit rare illness finds out the hard way they can either pay for life saving medication or well pass on.. as most Canadian are taxed to high to have any substantial savings available for such an emergency as they fall into the trap that the government has me covered. \n\nSo each system has its positives and negatives and as far as I'm concerned it's not talked about enough honestly up hear.\n\nIf you have been to the dentist in canada thats basically the usa system, though the prices are fixed in some areas so some services won't be available.. as they don't update the payment schedule often enough so certain procedures pay well, other well can actually cost the dentist out of pocket. \nTherefore in some areas you can't get certain procedures done at all the dentist will refuse.

As a white man, we should just voluntarily surrender the land we stole to the natives once and for all. Time to find our own place to go. Its the only way to legitimately make this right. |\nProgressives can pander all they want with acknowledgements, self serving pretentiousness, exc. but its just as worthless as those who deny and think we've moved humanity forward. Progressives are no better. If anything they are worse trying to have their cake & eat it too. \nEither you correct a wrong or convince yourself your actually 'doing something' through words. Why are we fighting over racism. It's not going away. 100 yrs from now it will still be a problem. We as humans will all ways profile stragers. We can't help it. In every race we have the same problem. Like any thing else, we have to find a peaceful way to get along.

I live in Victoria, and take this. I worked in a place, where the manager was from Asia, and she treated me like hell forcing me to move to another department, claiming she doesn't need an assistant. NEXT day she hired an Asian girl. She obviously needs an assistant, but because she wanted an Asian with her, she did that. And now you go to that department and you find all employees are from her country. Talk about racism, it's everywhere. And yes when an Asian or a black treat others in a wrong way, it's still called racism. People only shout racism when it comes from the White while we do see racism from others, but we don't hear anyone condemning it

I wish a was black. I could easily get a scholarship if I’m black and I could easily get into great companies as they try to fill positions for diversity reasons. \nI had 2 black friends. One was very smart and deserved the degree, he’s running for the valedictorian. My other black friend admited to me that he shouldn’t pass the course, as he’s pretty lazy and I knew it as his friend, and profs talk med to him to find ways, he also got the same degree.

The more I watch CBC shows the more I find the country has massive flaws in ways of dealing with criminals and corporate criminality......

I understand both sides, my heart goes out to that man but rules are rules but may he find a way. I see a lot of stone hearted comments. It’s not so easy as people make it seem Abe most of you are talking ignorance because you are privileged and so am I for the record. Life is hard for most people but maybe he can make it there or somewhere else. I admire any man or woman trying to feed and provide for his or her family. May the universe administers it’s tools to those who act the behalf of others she trust the processes.

This is so frustrating. I spent twelve years in the apartment industry and went through literally hundreds of hours of Fair Housing Training. I was given test shoppers on numerous occasions, just like every other property manager I knew and I always passed with flying colors because I stuck to a script and said everything the same way, even with the same tone of voice, every time. It didn't matter who was in front of me, my job was more important than anything else and that meant absolutely no possibility of discrimination. Here in the US, management companies and even the individuals onsite can be held monetarily responsible if testers find them to be discriminatory. It is very disappointing to see property staff making such bluntly poor choices. We all know better in that industry. This is the 21st century, we should be beyond this.

I find that the majority of the Muslim people who have been brought to Canada. Are very rude to Canadians, and seem to want to change Canada into their controlling and abusive ways. I think it's disgusting that they can come here, and try to change our system and take advantage of Canada's services. We need to stop these people from coming to Canada, as they've proven already, that they are not willing to conform to our Canadian way of life! If you don't like it, get out of Canada!!!

While racism is real, there are certain people from some religious dicatorships in Canada spying on the free people of this country and making people uncomfortable too. there are those who want to push their beliefs on all Canadians and there has to be a balance in terms of acceptance and inclusiveness. I find many times people also play the race or discrimination card to push their beliefs and ways of life on others while I have heard them for example swear at and judge Canadians for example who don't cover up their hair or wear mini skirts......that is also discrimination and judgement and is also 100% wrong, even though they may be doing it quietly or in their own language. There is sometimes (besides obvious cases of racism of course) that there are 2 sides to the story! People that come to Canada also need to respect its values of respect for all, not just ask for it for themselves. While a lot of wonderful people come here and have the utmost respect for Canada that is NOT the case with those pushing their beliefs and particularly religious views on the rest of Canadians making them feel like outsiders I have heard many stories about.

It is really disheartening to see all this. I had a dream of coming to canada for study when I was young but due to lack of money I failed to come. After that I always wanted to try find a job from outside canada I failed. I am in a situation that I see no way to come to canada . I always wanted to to come work hard make money and start a good life, moreover i had plans to setup my business there with that money and give others the job. And these scammers have it so easy way out . Seems like honesty has no place left. At least give them harsh punishments that will make genuine people feel better.

we need to help stabilize latin american countries if we want to stop unendless migration. i know a lot of people just want to deport and thats it but as long as there is violence and corruption in latin america the people are always going to find a way to come here. we need to work with latin america to help stabilize their countries and make them a better place so that their citizens don’t feel the need to leave.

We need to have a little bit of compassion for Muslims who are struggling with this. Imagine that you were born into Islam. You didn't ask for it. You just happened to be unlucky enough to be born into a Muslim country and raised under it. It's not their fault that they believe what they believe. \nWe need to help them to free them from the chains of Islam. The way to help them and free them from Islam is by educating them with the truth. It's difficult for them to accept because they have devoted their entire life to it. It's also quite a shock when they see all of the errors in the Quran which is supposed to be the pure word of an all-powerful and all-knowing God. Then they see things like- the sun revolves around the earth and sets in a pool of muddy water. It's like somebody telling you that your dear friend has been lying to you for the last 50 years of your life. You just can't believe it. You don't want to believe. You defend your friend, you love your friend. \n\nSo instead of insulting these poor Muslim people try helping them by suggesting that they read the Koran cover to cover from beginning to end. Then they will see for themselves that this 7th century book conflicts with modern scientific and historical knowledge. That's when they will realize that Muhammad invented the entire thing so that people would obey him and treat him like a god on Earth. That's when they will realize that he was a 7th century man who knew nothing about the scientific knowledge that we have now in this century. That's when they will realize that the Quran is filled with threats of punishment and violence for not believing and not obeying the supposed word of God given to them by Muhammad. Muhammad put harsh punishments in it so that they would submit out of fear. This is why Islam is so violent. \n\nTo our Muslim friends in humanity. I'm so sorry that you were lied to. So sorry that you wasted much of your life devoting it to Islam. I'm so grateful to those of you who have not followed the violence of Islam commanded in the Quran. Why should those who have not done any illegal thing worry? The laws are for protecting all citizens & no faith can come in the way of that law. \nMuslims are so bigoted that they find nothing wrong in the radical views & defend them like its a piece of cake. Stupid laws help criminals to make lots of money. And, people see no good reason to comply with irrational laws like this, so they find ways around them. \nIf you're granted permanent residency, why do you have to keep proving residency?\nWhat next? Fining citzens for going on holiday for too long and hence not paying enough into the Canadian Economy? If so, the CEO's of many major Canadian businesses will be hung out to dry. It is NOT just race. Depending on the bag or backpack you carry, you get followed, which I hate. And I'm not black. My mother also gets followed everywhere in every Macy's store. It drives me crazy. It's really annoying, because I think it's because my mom has big purses and I usually have my art backpack. \n\nWhen I'm in a different town, I get followed in Walmart all the time. If I forget my shopping bags, I will empty my backpack so I can use that to put all my items in at the end of the purchase.\n\n In Best Buy, I'm lucky to get anyone to help me at all!!! I have to hunt someone down, and most of the time, they don't know anything anyway. Target: I have a hard time finding anyone to help me as well. I haven't really done a social experiment, but sometimes I just have my shopping bags and fill them as I shop and I won't carry a purse.\n\nLocally, I don't get followed because my family and me are known in that town. We know a lot of people and my face is everywhere. I never get followed. But out of town Walmart, I get followed in certain stores. It irritates me immensely, especially since I buy a lot of make up and the make up department is cramped they way they block the end of the aisles. It makes it really hard to turn your cart around when other people are in the same aisle. Then they close the make up aisle even though they have tons of cameras all over!! \n\nOverall, I don't know WHERE these backhanded compliments are coming from. I normally hear stuff about my weight. Nothing about race ever. Nor do I ever hear others talking about race. Weight seems to be the hot topic always.\n\nI also find it weird that the one guy feels like he needs to apologize!

When I’m in Best Buy I am asked if I need help with finding anything at least 3 times per visit. I’m not saying the underlying reason was not a racial bias...I just think that some of those employees are following their training to approach people that seem to be wandering in their section. It could have been racially motivated, but without a larger data set there is no way to be sure.

There is nothing in the Quran about covering your face/head. That stuff is found in the Hadith. And Muslims pick and choose which Hadith they follow (even when they are found in the same books). For example, they ignore the Hadiths that talk about the FIRST version of Islam, called the Satanic Verses (Muhammad recanted that version of Islam, saying that the first angel he talked to told him the wrong things because it was actually a devil disguised as an angel). If they accept that Hadith, they have to accept that if Muhammad could be tricked by a devil the first time, what is to say that he couldn't be tricked a second time? Also, the Quran was not written down until much later, it was memorized by certain people. After a major battle a lot of those people were killed, so they had all of the remaining people write it down and there were many discrepancies (not just linguistic problems, but actual ideas that were completely different). The person in charge of compiling the versions burned all of the copies after he created one Quran. And since Muhammad was the last prophet and God only talks to prophets according to Islam, there is no way he could have had divine direction to know which to keep and which verses to scrap. There are entire books missing (such as the books that were eaten by a goat). \nNow that we have access to the Hadiths (they weren't translated to English until the 21st century) we are finding out a lot more about the history of Islam, and Muslims don't like it.

From what I heard coming from other source .Also when I see them at food banks taking home more than $150.00 in groceries from just 1 food bank they goto 9 amonth .their cell phones are top of the line .Clothes and shoes brand name only .Gold jewllery ladys purses $300.00 and up .And they all have cars from 40 thousand and up . One place i never see them is value village .How do they do iit ?I had 2 kids and on welfare a few years back and I had a hard time trying to get some things that we badly needed and could not afford and things were a lot cheaper .The most I ever spent at no frills been on assistance was $75.00 for the whole month .6 years ago and no cell phone gold. or cars .So how these people do it ?oh and by the way I go ti no frills once a week .Those same refugees are there every thursday spending $500.00. on goceries and none of them work .Some time neighbours talk and thats how things are know .Our government is a big lier .We the tax payers are paying for all of these Once a refugee of this country one canot be sent back or deported so if this refugee never finds a job you the tax payer and I will pay for his or her assistance and maybe for a life time .like in the case of gypsies refugees they are all on assistance go to all the food banks rob the community of their belongins their cars items from stores donations in front of churches and stores they dress the best also spend hundreds of dollars on food they shop for clothes at the mall and we the tax payer brake our backs 6 days a week 10 hours a day like me and I cant afford even half of what these people can .So even if they become criminals we have to support them .Some refugee law and rights should be changed to ensure that tax payers are not been taking advantage of .

with respect to the job situation I am not really surprised at all. The higher up you go in terms of qualifications requirements is the less likely you are to find discrimination based on names in Toronto. \n\nThe real discrimination is at the bottom of the pay scale where the people making the decisions are less likely to be university educated and more likely to be say a white forklift driver who came up through the ranks and has been promoted through length of service rather than and specific qualification. He is likely tp still hold on to that Èthey are taking our jobs È mentality.\n\nAnother thing to consider in this Ontario/Toronto employment thing too is this. Ethnic employers tend to discriminated HEAVILY against anyone who is not of their ethnicity. The Chinese hire almost exclusively Chinese, partly because they can pay them less than minimum wage and get away with it. Indian employers hire almost exclusively Indians for the same reasons but additionally because they can get away with any number of safety violations because Indian workers tolerate and in fact tend to violate those safety codes in a normal situation anyway.\n\nThe same with Portuguese construction workers, they can pay them way less, get them to violate construction codes and cut corner on safety without being reported by or having workers complain. Polish and Romanian construction workers the same thing.

The issue is that the intending migrants and the general public are ignorant as to asylum law. The public think of asylum as some far reaching, grandiose humanitarian gesture- when the truth is that asylum laws provide an EXTREMELY LIMITED basis of relief. \n\nMerely coming from a dangerous country is NOT enough to win asylum, in the U.S. or Canada. A person must prove they are specifically persecuted, by the GOVERNMENT, because of some specific basis. A Central American claiming Central America is full of gangs and poverty, while true, is NOT a basis for asylum. This is why it's my personal belief that the thousands of Haitians making a run for the Canadian border have an almost zero chance of receiving asylum- ESPECIALLY after NOT living in Haiti for many years. \n\nIn spite of this, migrants still make these claims because it forces the country to go through a time consuming legal process, and is a way to buy time and prevent their deportation. Or perhaps allow them time to find a local job, continue their education, or have a child born in the country and then make a humanitarian argument to allow them to stay, even after losing their asylum case. \n\nThe truth is, unless a country holds asylum seekers in detention for the entirety of the process, it's a given that failed asylum seekers will NOT return to their country of origin, and will simply go underground.

Oh hell no. Honestly I am a Canadian and enough is enough we have way too many people on welfare or can't find jobs and we are too busy letting more nd more immigrants into this country. Yes, I know we are all immigrants but come one we need to draw a line somewhere and stop immigration until we fix our problems that already exist like lack of jobs and funding.

If wearing a nikab or hijab or burka was a sign of respect and honor, we would all be walking around wearing bed sheets over our heads. That fact that only women are required to cover up is exactly why it is discriminating and a sign of male chauvinism by the muslim community and islam. Having grown up in the midwest of the USA, I find it offensive and oppressive to women to see them hiding under or behind a cloth garment. Talk to anyone who specializes in communication and you will quickly understand that there are many non-verbal communications from facial expressions that contribute to the way we humans communicate with each other. To suppress these facial expressions is like seeing without color and in black and white only. This is a fact of life and not open to debate.

We live in N.Y. about 2 hrs from the border to Canada and we love to go to NOTL for a quick vacation whenever we can - usually 4 or 5 times a year! We find Canadians to be WAY more chill than Americans and we love visiting Canada. One thing I'll tell you is figure out the insurance because we've had employees who didn't bother to do this resulting in them having none. When that happens, and you file your income taxes, the IRS takes a fine out of your return. The first year it's like $100, but it goes up each year. After a few years they can fine you like $600. Depending on how much you earn you may be able to apply for assistance in paying your health care premium or may not have to pay at all. I would encourage you to do that before you start getting fined...and welcome to the USA lol!

Whenever I take a flight within the states they always let veterans and those who have served in the army board first which is fine by the way. I just find it interesting because we don't do that in Canada at all. Veterans get a special license plate and maybe a parade once a year?
