I know that some Iranian students are fraudulently obtaining visas to study in Canada. Despite not having sufficient funds in Iranian banks, they manage to secure degrees by paying money to certain banks, even when their accounts are empty. Lawyers may provide them with language test questions in advance, allowing them to pass without any real language skills. As a result, they are admitted to Canadian universities, even for master's and doctoral programs. Additionally, some students arrive in Canada with children but without a spouse to increase their chances of getting a visa, and they rely on Canadian government assistance. After some time, their families also seek to immigrate, and they often depend on government aid. I agree with sending them back after they finish school because I’ve heard that many professors are Iranian and pass them through courses without proper study. They also work for cash, hiding their earnings from the Canadian government while continuing to receive government aid. They are bringing their problematic system into the Canadian education system, which could have serious negative consequences if it continues

My colleague, who is a temperary worker from Japan, told us she was kind of forced to watch some religious videos while she was working, and this guy kept telling her that he is kind of a big person who has the authority to issue Canadian visa to foreigners to come to Canada. He told her to contact him in the future when she needs visa to Canada. My collegue said he seems from India or related country.Not 100% from India. She just said he seems like. --- I would not believe that Canada has a immigration problem if i have never heard what happened to my colleague. There is so much problems in Canada, like young people facing serious drug issues, homeless issues, etc. Canada needs to deal with these issues. As an international student in Canada, I can say that healthcare is not good here at all. Doctors are not willing to give prescriptions even when the pains are unbearable. Healthcare is also not cheap here. You can end up spending thousands of dollars if anything serious happens.

I'm thinking that the next government which I hope will be led by Pierre Poilièvre, will seriously opt for a solution like opening a Canadian school in India and in other countries so that people don't have to come here to study in a Canadian school/college/university. That way, they could study in their country without having to move and face difficulty in living abroad which for them should be only allowed for a certain number of years and then that they have to return to their country of origin. Once back in their country of origin should they want to immigrate here, well there is an official process for immigration that needs to be done. No skipping steps and that has to be done from outside of Canada.

Oh, I always wanted to visit Canada and go to New York, the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas. Why should I bother getting a travel visa when I can just walk in and stay as long as I need, why should anyone for that matter?! ??? Your setting a precedent America! It's prety concerning when theres an entire industry built around faking people's bank statements overseas to sneak past the required savings amount for international study and then arriving in Canada with no money and a serious need for employment to survive instead of focusing on studies.

Better late than never. This was bound to happen because the Canadian government gave unrestricted entry to these international students. These guys are very talented and highly skilled in organizing protests and equally incompetent as far as education is concerned. The prime objective of these international students was to gain permanent residency through Canadian diploma mills. The authenticity of their transcripts is also questionable. Now, in the fear of getting deported they are organizing protest and playing blame game card. They very well know how falsely they have gained entry and treating them innocent would be another colossal mistake which may lead to serious consequences. Seriously Indians don't come to Canada or Australia (the situation is exactly the same). The economies are going backwards. Good luck finding a place to live. The cost of living is sky high. Back in the late 1990s I made serious plans to emigrate to Canada. My country seemed to me a black endless hole from politics to daily life. I even learnt French because my plan was to settle in Quebec. Time went by and, sadly, Canada has gone downward. My country has fared a littlet better since myymid twenties. It still sucks but I get along with it. There always is a place to call home if you have seen the world. Lucky you, I haven't seen as much world as I once dreamt of. Good luck on your choice.

I moved to Australia from Canada over 20 years ago. After the draconian lockdowns and being forced out of my job by j mandates, I've wanted to get the hell out of this country. Since Labor won all state elections and the federal election, things have taken a serious downturn. It's a big clown show. The state government here in Victoria, home of Dictator Dan, has racked up such a colossal debt that there's just no way out of it. They're raising taxes and making up new ones as the go along into the abyss. There's nothing here but a big real estate bubble and when it pops, there will be tent cities all over the place. The government created the problem just like in Canada. They increased the population by 1.6% in ONE SINGLE YEAR with immigration and now there's not enough housing to meet demand. The lockdowns took all my savings and a chunk of my superannuation to just survive, and I was robbed of over a year of earnings by the government. I've been stuck in this massively over-priced hovel for 3 years longer than I had planned and now would be lucky to even be in the top 20 picks for a rental, at twice the price. It's only a matter of time before the job market implodes due to business closures and the all around terrible climate in which to start new business. I want out, but the prospect of returning to Canada is beyond depressing. Everything that drove me out of Canada in the first place is 10x worse now. My other alternative is UK but I don't feel like going to prison for liking memes about Keir Starmer on Facebook, so UK is out of the question. Not to mention that it's economically doomed and has a worse healthcare system than Canada. There are lines around city blocks to get into a GP clinic.

Healthcare here is to the point where I just pay out of pocket for a lot of things anyways because either the doctors' won't take me seriously, or the wait is too long. I've consistently had to pay out of pocket for a lot of medically relevant treatment. Sometimes I think about looking into going to the states for surgery because I've been on a wait list for a consultation for 3 years now...
