Just like you have to protect your southern boarder the USA needs to have accountability at the northern border. So what’s with the double standard. It’s not all on Canada. As a Canadian I’m glad that we are doing something about this. But as the southern border was closed we have a lot more people coming to Canada illegally trying to get to the states or staying here. We have to do more, of course we do.

No more funding no more funding for them cities.\nLet them pay for them I don’t want to .\nWe know why cities need illegals they get money for them give some to them and keep the rest for them and the lavish parties they hold or for the things they don’t have the money for.

Sane New Yorkers must, I say must, unite, rise up and take the strongest stand against their politicians and dim-whit voters! If they're in agreement with this insanity & rebellion then cut this state off from all federal funding and let New Yorkers pay for these illegals all by themselves. I don't want my tax dollars paying for any illegals. Especially when there are so many Americans living on the streets and/or not even getting by with this failed & fraudulent economy the Democrat Party has given us. Democrat voters aren't being kind and compassionate by wanting them here. They are enabling these people and by doing so, preventing them from growing up and raising their consciousness into a higher state of mind. By wanting to protect criminals, pedophiles, rapists, murderers, thieves, violence and rebellion from being deported, they're displaying for America they're psychology/consciousness of a death wish. This is a psychology of death and failure!!! The Democrat politicians and voters didn't vote for President Trump's agenda but the vast majority of We the People most certainly did. Chuck Shumer, Maxine Waters, all Democrat politicians and Democrat voters, YES, WE DID AND WE WON THE BATTLE!!! \n\nThese illegals are not weak and needing help. They're now uniting, protesting and waving their country's flag against their deportation, which they absolutely have no rights in America to do so. They have no rights here!!! That takes gall, audacity showing their rebellion against American voters and an unreality in their third world psychology to believe they do. We have been forced to deal with this abusive, violent third world psychology for far too long. They have a strong willpower so return to their country, unite there, raise their flags there and rebel against their corrupt government! They don't belong here as they don't have America's vibration. They just continue demanding and taking America by violent force. They are using and abusing tax payers' money and their goal of turning America into their violent third world hellishness must stop now! When they want to become part of America, get in line and make application in our legal immigration program. These illegals do not rate higher than those who are coming here legally!!!

If you are in America and you are a citizen enjoying all that America has to offer and you hate our federal immigration law and you hate police doing their jobs and you hate whatever wrong America has done in the past, I challenge you to leave and go find that perfect county that can offer you all that America can and will live up to your ideals of perfection not just now but through everything they have done in the past. Please find that perfect country that has never oppressed anyone and doesn't oppress anyone now and see if you can f off to that place and I am positive they will be happy to give you other people's wealth to make your stay wonderful and if they don't, hit the streets protesting and get them to change if you can stay out of jail. Stand in their streets and scream that that their laws are unjust and the whole place needs to be brought down because it isn't perfect in your deranged mind and never has been and then see how many countries will entertain your ideas. It is truly amazing that ao many live in America and actively want to tear it down because it isn't perfect in their minds and hasn't been perfect in the past. America is the best thing going and plenty know this or we wouldn't have a border issue. I dont see Haiti having and issue with too many breaking in or Cuba or other communist countries. Losers see what other people have built and have and look at it and think they should have it so they fight and scream and decide to get enough people of losers together to vote and decide we should take what others built and have it but they can't maintain it and they can't build for themselves. Destruction is all they know.

Wouldn't the fact that the city council, allocated that money AFTER the ice raids took place. Pretty much in response to them, as an emergency to basically help hide the migrants, wouldn't that make them complicit in aiding and abetting or harboring a fugitive? I heard something about the way Miss AOC has been going online producing videos, instructing people how to avoid/escape ICE agents, was pushing the limits on the law. That she might get in trouble for it. Then surely the city council, knowingly providing this money for the purpose of helping migrants, NOT GET DEPORTED, really needs to be looked into. Taxing the American's living in NY out the *ss, just to spend that tax money on stuff the citizens, DONT WANT THEM spending it on. I think the act of handing over $2 million dollars, just to help hide the illegal immigrants, while at the same time raising taxes for the actual legal citizens who are NOT benefiting AT ALL, from all this money being spent when, THEY ARE THE ONES WHO ARE ACTUALLY PAYING IT IN, should definitely be crossing the line....

There are BILLIONS of ppl who in Africa, South America and Islam multiplied one thousand times in 100 yrs. They will not stop rapidly recklessly multiplying and of course, high numbers of kids per adult, esp abandoned mothers, creates poverty. They get a stolen passport then change the name, photo, reissue it and voila. They have their own corrupt people in position to do it on the back end. It's already been exposed in the UK for many years. It's a global program, carefully coordinated. And people in the inside are helping them led by foreign men in dresses. YES THEY ARE. ?59 MILLION in FEMA (our tax dollars!) was recently stopped by our President from getting to NYC for their shelters for illegal immigrants. And the 4 FEMA employees who authorized it were FIRED. This needs to happen EVERYWHERE and from now on. And this was just ONE payment that was going! There's no telling how many ? have already been paid out to sanctuary cities.

i dont understand why they dont just offer aid to families and people who actually need it and allow them to come into the country safely as opposed to forcing them to make dangerous journeys using gangs and risk allowing criminals or gang members to get in. After things get straightened out... hotels like the Row and Roosevelt need to be 100% shunned.

We have our own housing shortage that needs to be addressed for existing Canadians who are struggling. I'm glad we are taking a pause and redifining the structure of how and who we receive into Canada. Until we sort out the housing crisis, which is in every major city, there simply aren't enough homes to help those in need and address newcomers who aren't financially self sufficient. If those immigrating to another country, they should provide their new country with their own financial means of support, or be of a profession that is in demand, the sooner they get jobs and pay into the system, the better.

I am born and raised in NYC. In Queens many businesses are now suffering with lack of staff and the owners or their family members are now doing the work they’ve been paying immigrants that don’t have their paperwork together to do. It is sad so many people trying to start over and get treated poorly! As a community member it is also annoying having to wait much longer for food or the quality of atmosphere lacking now etc I know something needed to be done in regards to the immigration issue but at the same time it sucks to realize just how many people were being taken advantage of in ALL the local businesses smh. It is definitely a catch 22!

This was always going to occur. Shut down the southern border and people will try to get in through the north. As I understand it, we don't have the same deportation laws with Canada as we do with Mexico. This needs to be dealt with and Canada needs to step up. I live in a norther border state and my younger brother died of fentanyl. I am fed up with it. I love Canada and remembering crossing the border without even a passport as a kid, but this is no longer acceptable.

As a Canadian, I care more about who is getting into Canada than who is getting into the US. I want to know from my government how are these people getting into Canada in the first place?? Blame Canada for allowing no-visa travel from many third-world countries around the world. This means literally anyone can get on a plane, fly to Canada, then walk across the border into the US. Canada is an enabler of this mass migration and they need to be stopped.

Please stay away from Canada I moved here and I regret it every day. I'm a citizen through my parents and getting my certificate took YEARS which stopped me from being able to go to school or work which means years of my adult life wasted that could have been put to much better use for something that wasn't even my fault. I also lost good opportunities too because of it!!!! Not happy especially since I genuinely needed the money. I won't forgive Canada for that. Also everything here is really expensive and the selection is just not very good. Also work opportunities are not as good as in the US. Anyways I finally got my certificate and got my life started up again just over 2 years ago, but I still often think of returning to the US after just being here for 4.5 years. I now warn some of my US friends not to go to Canada just for the hype if they mention it. I also know of a friend who moved here and left after 1 year, they came to hate it here.

Getting degree does not mean immigration, internet is ubiquitous and they should have to read first before making decisions, what are rules, regulations and what to expect after getting degree.
