For pleasure travel to other countries, Govt of India should impose 100% tax and use that tax amount for development of domestic tourist spots. Same way for student traveling to other countries for study, Govt of India should impose 100% tax (fully refundable with interest if that student comes back to India after completion of his studies) and use that tax amount for development of domestic educational institute.

Palki ji, The elephant in the room is the folks who go on visitor visa, and then don’t come back to their home country. They have been miss using this for a long time & now causing problem for innocent ones.

I am a cruise ship worker and i travel US and canada every year . In 2023 i had my joining at dry dock in spain . And i was in Schengen visa center in kolkata . There i meet one sardar ji . He was their for the tourist visa and he told me , all his family members in Canada but his visa 7 times got rejected by the canadian authority. Now he want to get a tourist visa for spain and he have a plan to not come back . And he was telling me all those thing with extremely loud voice in front of the visa application center. Just imagine How crazy that was ?

Indians are often very dishonest! We have 1,000,000 Indians here who obtained a visa but then never went back home when their visa expired. They are here illegally and working here illegally. An Indian merchant at a convenience store tried to steal a winning lottery ticket from me a few days ago! Several Indians have gone to prison for stealing lottery tickets from customers including HUGE Multi $Million Dollar WINNERS! \n\nI have had Indian immigrants be rude to me even though I was born in Washington DC and my ancestors have lived here for centuries! \n\nWe are having to actually pass laws here to prevent Indians from discriminating agains their fellow Indians in work and housing due to them being Dalits, or ‘Untouchables’ which proves that Indians coming here have no interest whatsoever in democracy and equality. Indians are coming here solely for economic reasons. They are having babies here to take advantage of, abusing, our birthright citizenship law. \n\nOver 700,000,000 Indians don.t even have access to a toilet and yet your government is spending many $Billions on aircraft carriers and a massive military buildup. Get your priorities straight, build safe toilets first for your people! Indians need to remain in India and Make India Great Again!

Canadian here.. Canada has its pros and cons.. Come hell or high water I LOVE CANADA... I am home sick for Canada and will be moving back to Canada in 2025... The sooner so much the better.... It will be nice to live under the Crown and not in a republic.. I just do not care for the American mentality at all.. Also I do not like health care in the States..

Homelessness in Canada and US is because of high property tax and because of very high inheritance tax. Indians would rather come back to India and live in their negligible property tax homes which they inherit from their parents without paying any tax on their inheritance than to stay homeless in Canada. Or homelessness is because of high price of land and redtapism in making a home for yourself in the west which is not the case in India.

Students with expired visas should go back. But what is Canadian culture? Is it found in Quebec? Alberta? Or the Reserves? What is it exactly? Do Canadian Immigration documents require applicants to sign they will convert their religion or culture after coming here? If you would change your culture upon entering another country, good for you but you have no right to expect that kind of inauthenticity from other people. If someone changes who they are and their culture upon entering another country then they are not as real as they portray. These are the type of two faced people that can also switch sides to help your enemies if given the chance to. And the truth is no matter how much people 'assimilate' here, people with even an ounce of racism and colonialist ghosts in their head will always first see the color of their skin. I worked at a Polish Grocery store and came across a man who's lived here for 30 years and spoke 10 words of English. All they speak at that store is Polish. I loved working there but I don't see anyone making a video about European immigrants retaining their culture.

Actually it is soo true. I have considered german for my education because it is less expensive than USA but I don’t see my full life in Germany because of language barriers and not promoting other nationals in higher positions. Go to USA you will find half of the top CEO or engineers Indians but come back to Germany and you won’t find many, this is because Germans don’t usually promote other nationals in managing positions higher than them. This is not welcoming so folks it is better if you come for your education, gain some work experience, explore europe as much as you can then move to USA and build your own home and raise kids, again push them to come to germany for free education of bachelors and masters ?

I do not agree that these international students should stay here in Canada, they should be here to study and not for work. If they wanna be a permanent residents here, they should go back to their country and apply for a permanent resident. And if it all goes well, then they come here as a landed immigrants legally.

Most people that come to study in Canada from different countries they leave after graduation. You can even check the m number of people from different countries that leave and most do only people from\nIndia so leave . Canada is not all that great it’s good most of the time high taxes . . Once I just searched on google masters degree from foreign country, i literally got 100s of adds for months about Canadian, australian, german and US universities, So if i will take admission in those unis after paying whole saving of my family i atleast want to have rights to work in that country otherwise why would i leave my country as i still have middle class life here. And also it's the responsiblity of any unis in the world that if anyone comes to your country for than they should atleast have right to work for the same number of yr as he spent in his course so that he can earn back same amout which he paid for the tuition fees, suppose if i does my Master's from US for which i have to pay atlest 80-100k including living cost and to earn back that same amount of money in the india from best paying companies will take atleast 7-8yrs it's just about getting same amount of money back in account and to make saving of that much money will atleast take 20yrs then tell me why should some go for education in foreign countires if he doesn't get chance to earn that back, College fees are usually decided on PPP terms of the freshers job in that country that why atleast giving chance for work for the same amount of time of the total course time is a good thing otherwise just stop sending adds, just stop scamming indians, and just close your billion dollor economy which works on fees of indian student. Even many african specially nigerian they qualifies to work in india if they did any of his degree from india.

These are east Indians coming from the UK. They had US visas from the UK. What is Canada to do when they are in transit passengers from the UK and given fake or real but seems fake US visas. All international intransit passengers dont go through customs at their stop over country. Its an international fact. The East indians knew that if they boarded their flight to the US they would get sent back to the UK and hence India so they decided to illegally cross our border.
