Wait if the federal government issues the permits how is it the province fault? These bureaucrats are stealing our country and selling it to foreignors. When are we going to march to Ottawa and demand an election. April 16th? Are we allowed to protest?

The problem with caping the number just in certain provinces is that they will come to other provinces instead of those big provinces, therefore they will transfer the problem to us in small provinces.

Hey Tyler i love your work. I am a savagely loyal Albertan. \nAlberta is the best province. Change my mind. \nBut if Alberta starts slipping to the Left with another NDP/Socialist government, i would move to the US no question. Not just anywhere though. The 2 coasts are dumpster fires. (No offense if you live there) Canada is messed up like the 2 coasts. Trudeaus MO has been to systematically dismantle this once great, thriving, proud country for 8 long years. With election fraud and more seats in the Maritime provinces than all the Western provinces, and the Federal government bribing those poorer provinces for votes, it may be a long time before the Liberals are removed. And we will eat Crickets in trudeaus dystopian plans for Canadians. This is not a joke. The individual States have much more power than the provinces. Look up Danielle Smith, Premier of Alberta, she has done great things in a short time. Mostly fighting Trudeau against his attempts to shut down our provinces oil and gas and farming to save the planet from climate change. ?

That's definitely a responsibility of Canada's government and public schools themselves. You should never consider getting more and more students to this country if you don't have a clue how to manage this educational business properly. Moreover, the federal government should consider making better use of the existing budget to leverage AI models to do this job if nobody can tell how many students those public schools are able to accommodate for the next academic year. Today's AI can perform better than people think they do in such a matter of computing. Let the professional do their job. You just input all your available resources as a number of parameters into the AI models, and in just a few seconds, they can tell you how many international students one province should accept.

I'd be interested in seeing the raw statistics of mass immigration vs job scarcity and value. Living in a rural town in one of Canada's poorest provinces, it feels like businesses are relying on immigrants to work for minimum wage, which is still $15 BELOW the living wage. Since they can hire people for less, they will do so. There is also the issue of these international students relying on and clearing-out food banks. They're sold the idea that they only need $10k a year to survive in Canada, and obviously they can't, so they rely on these systems (that were already struggling as more and more people face homelessness and extreme poverty) to get by.

In Quebec province and toronto and kingston can make good friends. Not difficult. Vancouver they are weirds. Not easy make friends

I am a Canadian on pension and I left Canada for the Philippines . I now have 50 % more money left over every month . Rent is $300 vs $1200 per month . Haircut is $2.40 , beer is $1.15 , Internet plan $ 19.00 per month . Food is cheaper and Restaurants also . Pick a cooler city such as Baguio or do your homework . Women here are feminine . People are good . Choose to live in the Province over the big cities . Immigration is killing Canada and Trudeau is the culprit !

I am from Manitoba and I TOTALLY AGREE with you. Such a bad province with very few good things about it. Although there are a couple of gems and good things but it is not worth moving here.I plan to move out sometime.

Many parts of Canada are like living g in a 3rd world country, except most of them have better weather. Nova Scotia must be one of the worst provinces out of all of them.

I am born in Canada and i lived in Montreal's suburb(South Shore like we say here) all my life and i love it but i would never live in big major cities because of increases of crimes, high prices of houses/condo, traffic jam, pollution. \nMy girlfriend from Beijing came here last september for 2 months and she really loved it. She enjoyed the freedom, the many different foods from other countries in restaurants, our culture , the people kindness, beautiful nature and easy living.\nYes we have too free medical health care here in Quebec's province(Sun card ) and i have an excellent medical plan with my employer so i can have acess to private clinics free of charges when it's too long in public hospitals.\nI hate snow and cold long winters since the age of 18 when i had to go out for work or school and i dont like our corrupt goverment but we can vote for a less worst one every 4 years. ?

Not all provinces are as expensive as BC. The old expresion of BC-bring cash . On the other side of the rockies there,s something called Chinook winds , which deposits warm air from ,yup from ,BC and it,s dry as well . Also you,d be giving up free heath care ,stable policing ,stable goverment ( no revolutions ), US included . Before you give up you,re Canadian citizenship ,you may want to test fit other places first,just saying . But lucky for you getting to make multible U-tube videos to finance for wherever you land up . And when you land in another country you can make more videos about how you,l , Return , back to one of the best places ,on the planet . You should make it clear that there is no such thing as a country-wise healthcare system as it is managed independtly by each province. I guess what you are talking about here is the one in Ontario.

Well good luck if you wish to live in Vancouver! Nowadays housing and basic commodities are high and on top of it work pay is so low. Better of in some province of canada but if you choose to live in the city better be ready.

Canada is Monolpy Ville, there is Zero choice and zero competition and they keep it that way to control it. From food to the internet to TV you name it, there is NO Choice, Provinces differ hugely, the East is much worse off than the West when it comes to choice.

I hope you find a better place because there are the same problems around the world. The United States have normalize a lot of what you are talking about. Hate is growing, greed is growing. I'm almost 70, born in Toronto, I've only traveled to Quebec a few times, no other provinces. I have flown 4 times in my life, once to Thunder Bay, once to Chicago, and two times to the Philippines. I wouldn't live anywhere else in the world. I have worked over 40 years in average jobs but I made it. I respect everyone's religion but don't push it on me, I'm not religious in anyway. Religion belongs in a believer's home or religious establishment. All I can say is good luck, life is what you make it.

I appreciate the way you present the reality. One way to cope with salaries and taxes is to open you own enterprise. This is the canadian way of growing fron a wealth point of view. As a person leaving from a salary, it is still possible to grow depending on your skills. But beggining your own business to exploit your skills will make you 'fly' to the next level, which is the actual way of growing. It took me a lot of years to realice this. Just think about it, provinces allow medecins to incorporate what means that they will pay less taxes and become richer sooner. This is just my thought, other people may think in a different way, I just try to give positive ideas.\n\nSecondly, Canada is still a country to live in a bit better than other countries considering many things happening around the world. Crime and economics is worst everywhere also. But, it all depends on what criteria counts for you. About society, it's not easy to make real friends except other inmigrants that need it too. Toronto and Canada claim to be inclusive and diverse. I know many gay men who have been beaten up on the TTC. One buddy was beaten to a pulp, and no one helped him. People just sat there are let it happen, didn't even call the police.\n\nI would never live in Toronto, I'm leaving Ontario because this province is going downhill fast. In Windsor alone dependence on food banks and homeless ness has increased 500% in the past year. And their solution? To continue to raise taxes and give millions away to China and Ethiopia. I lived in Canada all my life it used to be a great country to live but government has destroyed the country especially the liberals and the majority of people live in Ontario and Quebec and most people in those provinces are liberals and found the best provinces to live in are Alberta and British Columbia but don’t live in Vancouver, Trudeau has destroyed Canada I’m retired now and I can’t afford to live in Canada and eat up all my savings I moved to Santa Cruz Bolivia where I lose 25% of my pension but I live a comfortable happy life here people are polite and friendly I left Canada in 2018 and I’ll never move back to Canada again

I think each province should have its own immigration program. \nThey should decide how many immigrants they would like to bring not the Federal Government.

When I moved from Canada, back in 2002, I couldn't believe how Canada was talked about. People spoke as if Canada was some dreamy, perfect world. It didn't resemble the truth in any way, even then. People of other nationalities believed such outlandish things about Canada. I realized, suddenly, that very little truth was reported about the country. For me, once I reached adulthood (1990s), I knew I wasn't living in the country I had thought Canada was. Even then, it just seemed that whichever province I moved to, people were just barely getting by, yet were strangely content or complacent in life. It was generational, social conditioning. Many can't see beyond it.

Many of your numbers are wrong sweetie. Here are the facts;\n2 years ago, you would go to IGA (where food is fresh but it is pricey), you would get out with 2 bags of groceries for about 120$. Today, it is 180$ for the same 2 bags. this is NOT a 10% increase... but almost the double in price!\n\nRent, in Quebec province, have gone from around 1,000$ to 2,400$ in less than 5 years, and each time a tennant leave his place, the landlord rise (against the law but nobody can do anything) the rent often by 25 to 40%!!! The Demand is so high, that he can refuse you for any reason (including racism, children, pet, smokers) he can think of. Again, this is against the common law but in truth, there is nothing anybody can do, unless you can bring him to court, which takes lots of money...\n\nSo in reality, from the last 5 years, almost everything has double in price and salaries have barely start to rise (mostly due to unions who revolted) but if you are not part of one, your salary basically stayed the same.\n\nA very good advice, don't come to Canada. There is no 'dream' here anymore. it is hell. And even if you find a decent job, you will be ask to do the job of 4 peoples and taking your vacation will be near impossible without losing it. If you are not dying in your country, don't come here. Canada is not one place - 2 nd biggest country in the world in area, with 13 totally different province's, one area code in the GTA has more population then Western Canada, so one cant paint a single brush stroke to talk about Canada. At present time the whole world is going through changes, look at USA - globalization is changing, look at England dropping out of EU. One cant just say Canada like its one place, Quebec, BC and Alberta have nothing in common, three different countries not one. Different issue's , cultures and languages. Even our first Nations have different cultures, the Haida are not the Mohawks. Its the same with each province. Globalization has reached its current course, right now the Chip market is changing, and so is the whole world. Its not just a Canada issue but a global issue

The Canadian government is over 1 trilliion dollars in debt. Ontario, Canada's most populous province is over 400 billion dollars in debt. The country does not have the money to build homes and other residences for the enormous number of immigrants brought into the country for no other reason than to virtue signal, and, perhaps, to keep the Left (with its rock-bottom birth rate) stay in power.

I lived on Ossington for years had a beautiful house and went to highschool there too ever since Covid my family was forced to sell my house and the city is not as vibrant as it was from 2012- 2020 . Lots have changed and moved me out of the province

Canada has 2 income taxes: federal and provincial income taxes, which varies from provinces with the highest Nova Scotia at 54% combined taxes (maximum).\n\nCompare to that, Australia has streamlined tiers taxes across the country.\n\nTo put it in perspective. If you earned $150k a year in Nova Scotia, you have to pay $47k tax. If you earned $150k anywhere in Australia, you only pay $40k tax.\n\nIn terms of income taxes, Australia system is much more competitive than Canada.

This guy is full of S@## lol\nI lived in Nova scotia for 12 years, and that province is so expensive. \nHousing, rent, power, food, childcare, etc. are so expensive that you must live with a roommate to reasonable live.\nBTW, there's not much to see out there. You can see everything in about 2 or 3 days, and that's it.\nIt's not a great province at all.

For the point where companies asking for Canadian experience only for a job requirement is totally dependent on job type and roles. For banking and insurance domain its valid to ask for local experience or equivalent experience through internships if studied in Canada. But if you are applying for IT jobs, I think this requirement is baseless can be dropped. For example, banking in middle east is totally different from many other countries same like insurance domain varies by country or region as well. Medical professionals need to clear country specific requirements if they have degree from their home country. And in Ontario, recently provincial govt has announced to drop this requirement from job requirement. So, hopefully other provinces also do the same.

I am a resident with Muscular Dystrophy in a wheel chair. I am exhausted! I work 5 days a week 8-10 hours a day and I do not feel well at all. I have no choice but to work because I cannot afford to move - What I pay for rent in his city is insane already. There is no where for me to go and there is no way I can find a cheaper place. I feel like I am living a nightmare to be honest. It just getting harder and harder and it seems like the people in Toronto are getting colder and colder. There are no social programs with enough funding and disability income is impossible because it doesn't even scratch the surface of rent costs. Food is completely out of control too. It just feels like I am circling the drain and the will end up homeless eventually. People with disabilities are treated very poorly in this province but in Toronto it is especially cruel and cold.

Seems you’re omitting the main reason here. It’s the freaking Indians. They’re destroying the livelihood of everyone here. They’re moving to every provinces & fraudulently occupying all the homes. They’re buying these houses & putting all their extended families in them. They can’t drive & this makes the prices of Insurance go up. The govt is indulging them. Your takes on the state of affairs seems to stem from outside statistics which are influenced by the govt. The truth is missing.

My wife and I plan to leave British Columbia and move to another province. It's just expensive to live and to retire in BC.

You’re 100% right, about all of it minus the rage. Id say Ontario and westward i agree but Quebec and east of there make a LOT less I’d say net 35,000$. And that’s the high end. A lot of people use to come here to build a new life as well as support their families back home. Now you can barely support yourself, god forbid you trying to support your own household. What’s the point when our government just punishes us more and more for trying to survive. I lived in 8 provinces it’s all the same bs. Alberta is the only semi possible place to make it anymore.

you know there are other places in Canada that are still conservative. me as a Muslim, I believe Canada is still great. It depends on the community you're in. but you do you. the province I'm in is still a great place to be in. I would recommend Qatar or Oman. places I wouldn't recommend would be the UAE since you're looking for an Islamic environment. it's not the vibe anymore in the UAE unfortunately

I cant blame you for the cold. I dont love the winter either. I moved back to the cold winter from the coast and boy do you get spoiled on either coast of canada for weather! I just dont like to be cold. If I could move to the USA, preferably texas. I would go. In terms of living costs, its sad how many canadians dont understand that places like BC and ON have been pricey for a long time. Its new in other provinces to be this expensive and AB, SK, MB, QC. While some of those provinces are more expensive than others, they're new to the super high prices and many refuse to recognize how ON and BC have been paying these prices far longer then inflation right now, which isn't new either. While I'm not muslim, I am LDS and we are not a favourite religion in society either. We get chastised all the time and nobody bats an eye. I've been insulted by employers, our church buildings have been set on fire. I still have to explain why my faith doesn't believe in working on sundays (as employers want that these days). I think some religions or non religious dont want to recognize what we get put through too. Even though we can relate to muslims in our own way. My faith enjoys serving communities with the muslims, I have worked with muslims and many are just the kindest people! The first president of our church got murdered and our people got chased within the USA and americans seem to believe that this doesn't happen in their own country but the same hate has and continues to happen in my faith. So I can understand, we face a lot of rejection when we speak about our faith. I can understand in my own way how you feel.

It's so sad, because it is such a huge, beautiful country. And you know, in the USA, we grew up watching things, and reading things, etc that weren't even Amercian, but Canadian, and mostly not knowing it. So many beloved things from Canada. We did also feel like they were happier, and more pleasant than we were. But I have many friends up there, from all Provinces, and they all have the same complaints. Thing is, they are the same complaints about the USA also, but just things like crime in the USA is notably worse....I used to live in the UK also, and that was better, but still not brilliant. The west as a whole is falling apart, and there are reasons for that, reasons that are being mostly ignored, so it will only get worse I'm afraid, unless we start demanding that they know longer be countries that cater to only the rich. Where only the rich can thrive.

The definition of a canadain is an american without a gun and public health care... otherwise it is hard to tell the difference.... Canada has almost 9 months of winter and 3 months of bad skating... The province of Quebec which is still part of canada (don't tell them that) has the language police to be as anti-american and any democratic as possible, they only tolerate english if it is in US$ and tax other taxes with the most expensive bloated government of any state north of Mexico. The cartels are envious... all things purchased are imported (except animals and greenhouse tomatoes)are american with the exchange rate of almost 33%... If you are a doctor or nurse or medical specialist trained in western medicine like Europe, Australia, etc. You almost have to start over.... SAD. Like América, big cars/trucks are king, public transit is not a thing... yeh there are some buses in a few major cities, more of an after thought... The only positive thing about coming from another country climate is you have something to compare with.... Personally i was born here so where do i go... A few friends have travelled to the US but have not returned... its warmer in Texas i guess... Canadians are suspicious of Asians because they come with money and buy up property esp in Vancouver/Toronto hence the concern... As for you making friends, you seem to be very Americanized, speak English well and not so traditional except for being married... you would make a lot of people comfortable among traditional Canadians... just my after thoughts...

Probably the only province with more reliable utilities on a consistent basis is Saskatchewan. The utilities are partially owned by the provincial government so they have more direct oversight. That's probably the only reason that power outages are fixed at a reasonable speed and there's an ISP that is decently trustworthy. Hard to believe I'm praising one of the worst governments in the country for anything. Probably more that I could say for the Prime Minister who can't live up to his family legacy. He lacks the backbone and attitude Pierre had. Now that was a good politician, one who would tell the truth and not give some prettied up nonsense. It sure cost him popularity but made him highly effective. Now their all weak and pathetic or a corporate puppet.

Calgary, Toronto is not Canada. If you have skills that are in demand ex healthcare or construction you will have no issues. Smaller communities in smaller Provinces provide a good lifestyle with reasonable housing costs. I agree ignorance can be very expensive. Do your research.
