I agree with all you said. I left Canada in 2018 after struggling there for 20 years. I am fortunate to also have American citizenship. Unsure why I held out in Canada as long as I did. So much easier to live in the USA. One thing you missed were the lockdowns. It caused massive disruption to people’s lives and many friendships and families were destroyed. My mother left in 2022 for exactly those reasons. Many others that she’s met now in her current country of residence left for the same reasons. Trudeau. What can I say…??

As an American, I can tell you the primary factor for many has been the cost of caring for the illegal aliens. Our military today is a high-technology force with career professional officers and enlisted personnel. The U.S. military exists to defend the country in war or prepare for war against foreign threats. Trump could quickly hollow out the military as career experts leave. The military does not exist for civilian police functions. It is illegal and unconstitutional for the U.S. military to arrest civilians or enforce immigration laws. The American military is apolitical. No one swears an oath to any political leader but only to our Constitution. Mass deportations of undocumented people living in the United States won't be done with the help of the Army, National Guard, or other military services. The U.S. military does not have to follow illegal or unconstitutional orders. Military officers do not want to engage in civilian police functions or enforce immigration laws. Trump firing military officers would hollow out the military, likely destroying our readiness to fight future wars.

the problem with deporting any illegal immigrant is any one can be an illegal immigrant.\nRecently an American citizen who was born in the U.S was passing into the U.S from Canada and was waved through by border security, so technically he entered illegal because he wasn't inspected, therefore entered illegally. According to the supreme court American citizens don't have standing to challenge immigration or customs decisions., so he is an illegal alien.

I applied and finally received notice that I can move to Canada as a permanent resident. Some of the videos I have watched (but not this one) have put a scare in me about my move - primarily about the future of the Canadian economy, etc. This video makes me feel better about my move and the recent election has made me realize that I no longer understand a good percentage of my fellow Americans. It has been, and will continue to, a very disheartening feeling that my US is, at least temporarily, gone, gone, gone. Regarding the homeless situation, my current American city is smaller than Ottawa by about 600,000 and the homeless problem here is probably quite a bit worse than Ottawa's.

I love Americans. Although that's a general statement and just like Canada, there are jerks there just like here, for the most part I get along great with them. There are pros and cons to living in Canada and the U.S., For the most part, I believe Canada is the superior country. We have a superior healthcare system, superior banking system, superior snacks, and superior safety. However, Trudeau is killing that. He's destroyed our country to the point that one more term, and it may well be expedient to move to the USA. He's destroying our economy, our values, our culture. We have the resources to top the USA in every way, but we've never had leadership to make that happen. The U.S. has a superior economy, retail, and military. Although some may argue that the USA has superior freedoms, I'm not sure I agree with that. I know I don't feel freer when I travel there. I will definitely travel to the U.S. again. I have lots of friends there who I love and would love to see. However, it will take more Trudeau for me to want to move there. Since it looks like he's on the way out, I better just stay put at least for now.

Shes a true American citizen who is here legally, she believes people who are here illegally should have to leave, even her family. She’s actually only in the right. Preach Senora❤❤❤ As a Filipino-American and A LEGAL RESIDENCE OF USA, ( Not a tourist using a tourist visa ) i have to go back and forth to the US immigration office in Philippines, i waited for months, stand in line for long hours a couple of times , interviewed by US immigration counselors, paid different kinds of processing fees, even had a seminar what to bring and not to bring in the USA,and a complete PHYSICAL CHECK UP AND VACCINATED TO PROTECT AMERICANS before getting in US soil..these happened not in one day only,takes months!! Ohhh if it was her own child I’m sure she wouldn’t be saying that’s ok.., there are many like her out there. They get those papers and they think they work for the White House. If she would’ve visited Mexico and had a kid while visiting and didn’t have the money for a green card it would have been a completely different situation. For those just because you got your papers do you not think that there are people that came here as infants or kids to immigrant parents that came to work to provide for their kids it’s not that easy to get your green card it cost thousands of dollars. Many immigrants that I know and worked with including myself, I came here as a refugee. Immigrants are the hardest working people I know. Unfortunately a lot of the ones that came here as kids grew up in some neighborhoods that are not so great and mainly are kids that were born here that are in gangs or doing drugs or violent so don’t blame immigrants saying they bring all this with them it was already here … drugs gangs violence was already here. I’m Native American and I say deport her. Yes, I’m entitled to my opinion. I’m a citizen and my people have been here for thousands of years. And, my people have been fighting for this nation even before we were considered citizens ourselves. We were employed by the U.S. Military to serve as Scouts (fighting against our own people to help the U.S. conquer-hint hint). Our languages were used to help win WWII and we have the highest enlistments by ethnic group. Most undocumented people I know are cool and they pay their dues and don’t want any problems. I am a U.S. born Mexican-American. This woman disgusts me. My father was a decorated WWII veteran. He, too, was a U.S. born citizen, as well as my mother. We never had much. One thing they both taught me was to help people who had less than we did. I look mexican, yet when I open my mouth, I don't have the accent my parents had. I have been targeted by random people just minding my business running errands. I have on occasion stuck up for my fellow Hispanic when I have seen them ignored and mistreated. In response to the judging of immigrants. Interesting how we rarely see immigrants on our street corners asking for a handout. Instead they're at work making just barely enough to eventually have their own business in a few years. Doing it the right way means needing a beneficiary or money. You don’t get a green card for a job. You need to be married or have money and buy one. It’s super expensive. Instead of kicking them out they should be given work or student visas until they earn their place here. But kicking them out helps no one really. This lady is super privileged. I am truly disappointed in a lot of immigrants who after becoming citizens have that tupe of attitude . They’ll charge them rent to sleep on the back porch. Even in the dead of winter. What I would like to know is who is going to fill the jobs left unfilled when all these deportations happen? Jobs that most American citizens do not want to do. I would also like to hear how grocery prices will go down when all these agriculture and manufacturing jobs done by immigrants suddenly become vacant with no one to fill them.
