You support a man who hates people in general but has favorites. If he could he’d deport you as well so be aware he may stoop to that level. You seem to be like him. Not caring about family or anyone else. He doesn’t consider you as a citizen he calls all of you illegal migrants.

Lets go beyond the immigration status of these workers. That has been talked about endlessly. The US economy would take a hit if this deportation plan goes through. These workers are critical in many sectors: construction, agriculture, service, tourism etc etc. When people call for deportng workers on this scale, it really is a case of careful what you wish for

You do realize it’s not just Latinos that would be getting deported. Mass deportation also includes Africans, Haitians, Arabs, Egyptians, etc. Do you think an ICE officer will cares enough to differentiate between a Black American born in the US and say a Black Honduran ?? What about families who are mixed race and one parent is US born while the other isn’t? Then what? I’m immensely disappointed by Latinos voting for this man, but mass deportation isn’t “cut and dry” where it’s only going to effect one group. It’s going to impact TONSSS of people across the board.

I wonder if people actually believe that legal immigrants won't also be swept up in this huge deportation.

The only people in the United States who are not immigrants or descendants of immigrants are Native American Indians. So it's the height of hypocrisy and arrogance for these people to whine against immigrants. We also have a law that justly provides safe harbor for immigrants seeking refugee protection because they are fleeing their country of origin due to persecution, violence, victimization, etc. It is morally correct to receive them here without any mistreatment or demonization. It is prejudicial, inhumane, and unlawful to turn them away or deport them. Is the administrative system and process inefficient or faulty? YES, obviously. That's not an excuse to be derelict in our duty. Our obligation is to fix whatever is lacking or broken in our system, so that it functions properly, fairly, and rapidly, for anyone seeking either asylum, or ordinary immigration processing and approval.

Trump is going to deport illegal criminals and Venezuela gangs. Why would we let those people into Canada? I read that you can’t seek asylum if you’re coming from a country that is considered safe, like the U.S.

There not in the U.S. to commit crimes, dont even make sense, why would a person go to the U.S. to work want to commit a crime? and then be deported, they came for work, instead of migrant, the U.S. needs to go after Americans who are the vest majority of criminals and gangs in gangland U.S.A, your deporting hard working mostly decent people and family's, they just exaggerate as to make stupid people believe these people being deported are real criminals, dont even try to deport criminals American to Mexico

If you really want to deport most of the people here illegally, you don't need a wall or more officers, all you need to do is fine people/companies who hire them. But if this was to happen, be prepared for MASSIVE inflation!

The plan is particularly cruel and it looks to be extremely racist in nature. It looks as though it is going to cost $10K per person to deport them so why not offer people $10K per head if they will leave voluntarily? However, can the USA afford to lose all these people? There will be massive job vacancies that cannot be filled, so many businesses will have to close down, causing hardship to the business owners. Perhaps the first step should be to find out why these people are considered to be such a drain on America's economy. It seems to me that they make a massive contribution. That being the case, why not make some criteria which, if met, will allow people to legalise their presence in America?\n\nAnything must be better than mass incarcerations and deportation which looks an awful lot like Nazi Germany.

These people believe they have assimilated. They now identify as Caucasian and they are no longer immigrants, and they don't care because they believe that the mass deportation will not impact them and their life is going to be better when the others are deported.

No immigration legislation passed, no border fence built like he promised, no improvement to the long legal process of accepting/rejecting people, and no mass deportations.... The main jobs that undocumented people do are farm workers, construction, meat processing and elderly care. They do these jobs for minimum wage (sometimes for less). Are MAGA Americans ready to do these jobs for minimum wage? Whose going to pick our fruits & veggies? Process our meat? Build our homes & replace our roofs? Who's going to take care of grandma? If deportation happens, get ready to pay more for food & have severe labor & food shortages.

President Trump lamented at his rallies about having to deport so many illegal aliens. But he said the USA just cannot sustain the amount coming into the country. The kind of deportation Trump has been talking about has gone beyond people that are here illegally. Trump has expanded it to include what he calls 'undocumented' migrants. That group includes people waiting for their asylum hearings, DACA recipients and protected status migrants/refugees, and people that have already had their asylum hearings, but are awaiting their citizenship hearings. \nAs for the narrative about 'murderers' and 'violent/horrible' criminals being in our country, it's like....wait...what??? Now, if you KNOW a person is a convicted murderer or horrible criminal, WHY would you allow them into or allow them to stay in this country to begin with? And, you'd kind of have to allow them to stay, otherwise, how the hell would you know how many of them are here?? Or who they are?? You can bet your butt that Pres. Biden didn't allow any people like this, that weren't in our prison system, yet 'known' to remain on US soil. That's not how it works! Not to mention, a large portion of the 13 to 15,000 number that Trump and the Right keep tossing out there, are from when Trump was in office! NOT during Pres. Now Trump 'has a mandate' to put on an insane, cruel, probably hugely illegal 'show', of him rounding up large numbers of people and shipping them off to who the hell knows where..... whether they were here illegally or not. (he's already vowed to deport the 20,000 Haitians in Springfield, even tho they entered the country, LEGALLY, while TRUMP was president! HE is the one that signed their protected status into law!) Trump's deportation extravaganza is going to be ugly, brutal, bloody, grim and senselessly cruel, to a great many people that more likely than not, have no reason to be deported.

I can see services and consumer products going up and of course you will have another liar in the WH press secretary room blaming the Biden administration for it. Same old story. It will probably be a story similar to the border wall, Mexico will pay for it. Where's the wall and when did Mexico pay for the part that was built? Ah, let's not mention that all those privately owned jails and detention centers (many owned by wealthy reps) will be ripping off the federal government/you the taxpayer. They will overcharge for lodging, food, blankets, you name it.  \nRemember, you might want deport all the illegal immigrants, but there are international laws as well. The countries that you might want to deport those immigrants might say, no. we don't want them. So, then, they become the responsibility of the US Government. Those people will be in limbo, meanwhile, we the taxpayers will paying for housing, feeding, clothing, them and their health care. \n\nOh, we haven't talked about climate change.... migration to the northern wealthier countries won't stop due to climate change. It won't stop here or in Europe. But, no many people are talking about it or preparing for it. \n\nNow the Reps have control of the executive branch, the congress (both chambers), and the Supreme Court is in his pocket. So, there will be no one to blame but themselves if they don't fix what they say they will fix: Immigration, ACA, the Economy, and more.
