Most of these fundings are on hold by the current Trump Administration for reevaluation and reassessment. The thing that the Chicago Governor is talking about is that what US citizens are enjoying as benefits and services are the same thing that these illegal immigrants and migrants are getting. My wife is a immigrant. We had been married 2 years before I was finally able to get her here with me. Even with being a veteran it didn't give us no entitlement with the legal immigration policy. I had to prove that I could financially support us. This was during Trumps last term & she is still waiting to be awarded citizenship. I have no pity for these illegal immigrants. They shouldn't b awarded no special treatment. Get in line with the rest of us legal immigrants.

I was born and raised in America on 56 years old and I can't even get an apartment and hear they're giving these immigrants 68,000 and 6 months to live on just handed to them for free. I'm an Indian american immigrant stood in line for over a decade to get USC. We as a country can give up bananas and whatever else comes from these countries, there is enough food here to survive etc, it is matter of month or so before the country realizes they can not survive but USA needs to be cleaned up from illegal immigrants period.

He said, get on the phone and set-up protocols (like a responsible adult). The US would not allow another country to land their military planes (or even be in our airspace) in our country without protocols in place.

If you get deported as an illegal immigrant, you should be able to take your children with you. What about us who came here legally and we paid to get our citizenship and went through so much processing to get here legally while others can just cross the borders illegally and get citizenship somehow. They were not screened if they have criminal records and they didn't go through a health inspection like we did. The law is law and it should always be implemented, no exceptions. I have met someone who was not a U.S. citizen but she gave birth on an airplane above the U.S. territory and her son became an automatic U.S. Citizen. I thought that was weird. The children should maintain the same citizenship as their parents so they will not be separated. Birthright citizenship has divided and dislocated families. This law meant that the U.S. government will take the baby away from the parents because they have no citizenship and put their children in the Foster Care Home Systems? That doesn't even make sense to separate a family, this law is a home wrecker. It needs to be abolished ASAP.

Too little too late. Trudeau and previous governments have destroyed Canada. I doubt this country will recover. Unless we get a trump that enforces mass deportation and starts plane loads going home everyday the wages are destroyed now and skilled workers are already leaving the country. The majority of immigrants we are getting now are permanent generational welfare/child tax benefits and elderly immigrants now. Without actually requiring immigrants to have skills, speak the language, and work to support themselves Canada will be bankrupt soon enough.
