I've honestly never really thought of it but as a Canadian that moved to the UK (Scotland specifically) it is crazy to have it broken down this way. TBF she is an engineer and in the future it may be better to live in Canada but right now between the salary and time off (20 day (CAD) vs her current 40 days off plus flexible working days (equals out to more like 44)) it's better to live in Scotland. I was also able to find a much better high paying job here in the UK (Edinburgh no less) than anywhere in Canada and have continued to work here in the UK cheaper.\n I hope to move back to Canada one day but don;' know if it will ever be possible.

I'm not against immigration, but in moderation. My best friend in grade 6 was and Indian girl, that was a long time ago. I have friends of all backgrounds, but we need equality and diversity spread out! We can't have immigrants piled into one area taking it over and having all the other cultures leave. That's not proper immigration or diversity. When my child's school has to recognize Ramadan and other ethnic holidays, it's not right. WE didn't move to India, they came here. THEY must adopt our cultural ways in public. Wear what you want, but don't force my city, my children to adopt your ways.

The only reason we are staying right now is because our son is taking a three year college course and has only just about completed one year. Another related topic that you covered was about the high cost of rents and the ridiculous rental situations - many of them in Brampton. He is saving money living at home right now. Another big problem is that we don't have the infrastructure for all these people. My son routinely stands up most of the way to school or can't get on a bus because it's full.
