Why don't all the nations like US and Canada try to help fix what is happening from the places these people are fleeing, especially if they are murder capitals? They can recruit these migrants to form coalitions to rebuild their nation. What if they are really are going to suffer there, without outside intervention, by being recruited, instead, into gangs or be killed or raped? If we send troops to the middle east for our vested interest, then don't we also have at least some vested interest to send troops in Honduras and El Salvador? We can prevent the entire population from migrating, prevent people from being exploited and hurt while traveling or living illegally and the taxpayers and citizens won't have to pay for court costs, education, healthcare and welfare. There are plenty of things our nation can do to uplift our own destitute and out of luck an alone citizens...with that money. With the money now saved, it can be diverted to cover the costs of our troops, counselors, educators in those nations. Then it is possible and foreseeable to reunite all the undocumented immigrants back to their now safer home countries. I understand why they flee and also understand why the US and Canada cannot absorb these large population of people, and they have the right to determine who is invited in, so....why can't there be more permanent solutions? I feel, certain pathetic political groups are playing these migrants, the law-abiding citizens and others in their game of chess. Lives are not pawns for chess. Is there a hidden path for drugs, money, prostitution that is being quietly supported? Are certain businesses lobbying in the millions and billions to get cheap labor? Is that why this problem is not finally being solved but kept alive for so many years? There are basic solutions that have not been tried in earnest. You cannot just bring everyone in and you cannot just turn your face to the problems these undocumented people face... I feel like much is not being discussed about this situation....Something else is going on that they are not covering...

I may be wrong on the number but I think we have 54,000 homeless people many of them children and not enough shelters to house them. We live in one of the coldest countries during the winter many died Frozen on sidewalks. And now our dear prime minister is going to house refugees who entered the US illegally and fled to Canada because he told them they were welcomed. Justin Trudeau has become an embarrassment to us.

I feel bad for his innocent children to have to go through this. You want to live in another country, you need to follow the law like every else. You learn the language, get the same I.D. We all have to have , and be treated the same as if any American were to illegally cross boarders! What we have to go through just to have identification here should be no different for anyone else! You can’t just live off our tax dollars and government ins., food stamps etc.. While we pay for you to live here!! I don’t reap those benefits, yet I’m paying yours!! I can’t feel bad! Non-citizens have no right to sneak into to any other nation... why is this a difficult concept for some? Just like Canada, go to an official POE and go through the official process. Even if they do try to do it the legal way sometimes they are not granted with any type of visa or green card. The government can deny their application for many reasons. So they end up crossing the border illegally. As well it is cheaper to cross the border than to apply for a visa or some sort of legal document. RE: Canadian healthcare, my wife broke both her hips in 2017 in two separate falls, she was admitted immediately to hospital without delay and operated on the next day (half hip replacement), after physio and occupational therapy she was discharged and provided Homecare, 16 times per week plus weekly Day Hospital. Our cost for both operations was roughly $160.00 for parking spots for me so I could visit her and about $140 in Tim Horton doughnuts for staff. The system does not have enough of certain types of specialists thus wait times for those specialists, and there are wait times for elective surgery. The system has not really been reviewed since its inception in the 1960s but making significant changes is the third rail of Canadian politics and a hard look is justified after 70 years. Re: illegal crossings; The gentleman in the video has a problem in that the US and Canada have signed a “safe country” agreement and neither will accept refugees from the other as both Canada and the US are deemed “safe havens”. He crossed illegally, if he had crossed legally he would have been immediately turned back at the border but he clearly entered the country between border crossings and was likely arrested and released on recognizance but not returned immediately as the agreement is silent on illegal entries (yes, seems a touch strange). As many people are leaving the US for Canada the system is overwhelmed. Tent cities have been set up in Quebec and public housing used in Manitoba to house illegal immigrant pending processing - those with criminal records are held for deportation. Canada has accepted roughly 25,000 Syrian refugees from camps in that part of the world. These refugees were first vetted by the UN then Canada. These refugees are completely different from the people crossing the border illegally from the United States. This pales to the 75,000 boat people accepted after the fall of Saigon. Canadians have been generally accepting of refugees but wants the process guided by the rule of law. Immigrants are a separate from refugees and the rules governing their entries into Canada are different.

The problem is that most people who like immigrants dont understand the concept of assimilation. I have no problem with immigrants who assimilate, but when we have so many illegals who enjoy the benefits of the American constitution, without learning English, who dont learn American History or economics, dont pay taxes and then send whatever money they make out of country. Of Course we should kick these people out. they should never be here in the first place. People not willing to assimilate should never be let into any country.

Then why do they demand their religion only. They try to ban Merry Christmas, alcohol, pork products etc...if they were peaceful they would not make demands to convert.
