Local here, born and raised in BC. As much as I love our country and history, I don't see myself being able to live here in the future. Real estate is the driving factor for the economy and with those housing/COL prices going up, I won't even be able to afford a split mortgage even if I had a steady 6 figure job. I don't want to leave Canada but I'm being indirectly forced to by the current Liberal government. Sure, our dollar was tanking before Trudeau enter power, but while he has been in power, it has barely changed and now is very close to reaching the same values we had in the Covid pandemic. Experts are estimating it to even go below that. It is not a good time to be a Canadian.

I support post secondary schools charging more to immigrants and foreign students. My university that I’m currently at charges a $2500 registration fee to international students. I a Canadian born citizen do not pay anything to register. I only pay for my classes. My university is also made up of mostly foreign students by charging foreign students more. It allows Canadians to be charged less so yes, I support schools charging more to foreign students.

One of those accents is clearly Canadian, the other I’m pretty sure isn’t. A man born in a stable is not a horse.

As a Canadian citizen I agree with you on a lot of things and the same thing applies to an extend to Canadian. As a Canadian I see my churches getting burned, I have been spit in my face by Muslim people either because I am not covered, but I’m Canadian why should I, right? How exactly do you expect me to fit in? I've spoken English and lived here since the age of 2. I celebrate Halloween and Christmas but not Pride Month, and I don’t eat Canadian food regularly. If fitting in means doing all those things, then I have questions. Canadian expat living in Asia. Just returned from a visit to Canada. While spending time with family and catching up with them was awesome, I couldn’t wait to be back in Asia. I’m enjoying a lifestyle here in a tropical beach that would be unreachable in Canada. Eating out all my meals, going out, attending cool events, flying frequently to nearby countries for a weekend or week or weeks at a time. Eating clean healthy food, meeting inspiring and friendly people. Typing this from the beach on a Sunday morning while enjoying my big freshly squeezed carrot juice cup that I paid 60 cents for! \n\nCanada only for visiting once a year. \n\nSave money, work remotely or better yet, learn a high income skill and live anywhere while making money online is the new FREEDOM PLAN. Get on it while you can!

This is my first time watching your content. It saddens me that you've come to feel as you do. I'm 72 YO and had the good fortune to be born among people who had survived a world war. They knew bullshit when they heard it. I served in the Canadian Army 1968-74. Like you, I've been a lot of places, and seen a lot of things. I do casual work at McMaster and interact with a lot of people. It feels like somebody else's country. Everyone seems so ignorant of our history. Worse, my Jewish friends no longer feel safe here. The Canada that I served so proudly as a soldier no longer exists. We could liquidate and leave, but these colours don't run.

As an International student, though I moved to Canada a decade ago initially to look for a deeper meaning in life, I still kinda felt being scammed by the Government for spending a huge sums of tuition to end up with a useless diploma which leads to unemployment . I'm a Japanese person living in Canada. In Japan, any hospital gives treatment quickly, and advanced tests can be done on the same day without a reservation. Prices and rent are cheap, and I can live alone for only 300 Canadian dollars. However, because illegal residents have increased a lot, safety is worse than in Canada. Women are often raped by foreigners, but because Japan is a male-dominated country, most perpetrators are acquitted. A foreigner who raped a 7-year-old child was also acquitted. Lol Yeah this is Japan. No matter where you live, it feels like hell

Illegals are not welcome, and one of the basic requirements of a country is to protect it borders. My wife and my son-in-law are immigrants..... legal. They have earned educations and professions, the contribute to the tax base and society, and they appreciate what they have earned. Immigration is a cenetrpiece of this country, when done right. If Canada wants the illegals, I'm sure the US will be happy to deliver them. But I believe most Canadians don't, and we are only hearing a few airheaded corner cases, similar to what is being deleted from our national consciousness right now.

I’m a Canadian citizen. I married a Jewish African woman. And helped her get her citizenship after we got married here in Canada. Then we stood outside in the -20 degrees c freezing cold in a long lineup of good people trying to get their citizenships like my wife, all legally obeying the laws of Canada. What I was talking about before is we here in Canada have been suffering from over taxation, extremely high rental rates, high food costs, greatly reduced medical care (My Mom died recently from lack of proper med care resources). They put her lonely dying body in the hallway where she was robbed of her cell phones, money, food and respect. Due to migrants and illegal immigrants overloading the beds and rooms pouring in from other countries. they drained our existing medical system resources and much more. Drug addicts who overdosed on Fentanyl they take first and push all other patients aside. Doctors take them first before helping a dying mother, father, brother or sister, infant and children pushed aside to save a drug addicts life first. I have been told many times this is also do to them taking care of the pouring in migrants and illegal immigrants using it all up. Where is love and justice? Yes, you failed us Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. You sold us Canadian citizens out and tossed us aside for your own agendas. You are a disgrace to Canada and we the people want you out of office.

I'm a black Canadian who's a naturalised citizen, and I agree that the immigration quota at 500,000 per annum under Trudeau until very recently was way too high. With high inflation, rising employment, brutal real estate and rent prices, a lack of housing for students and workers, and an overburdened healthcare system, the problem is not immigrants but our inability to be able to absorb that many while protecting the services and interests of Canadian citizens. In short, this is the Liberal government's fault for this situation. When I was finally able to visit home in Calgary in summer 2023 after years of Covid travel restrictions, it shocked me how messed up things were.

This is disheartening... this means that my husband will never be able to live with us. My children will grow up without their father, and for some reason, Canadians are OK with Canadian children growing up in a broken home. It's going to take 35 months, for my husband to be able to immigrate to this country. That's 2 1/2 year that my kids won't have a dad, our son especially is suffering. He has a serious disease, is often hospitalized, and I'm a married woman living as a single mother. Now I'll need to rely on the government for more financial support, and my 6 year old is actually depressed because his dad is years away from being with him. I work full time, have a great home, and a side business. But now I'll need to depend on meds and disability support to take care of my child, when he has an ablebodied father that can support us, especially when our child is in one of his regular hospitalization. You all are cruel.

The interviewer should have framed his question regarding terrorists coming into Canada and how it effects Canadians.. Instead he had to specify the Jewish community. I work for an Canadian Indian trucking company in Texas and I have to say Indians are some of the most racist people I've ever met. Which is crazy because in my head I'm thinking didn't y'all invent Karma why are you just continuing the cycle of racism oh well maybe in their next life they'll have more darker skin so they can be hated even more so.
