I'm a foreign national of Indian origin, and I support these rejections. Every sovereign country makes it owns decisions as to who is and isn't allowed to enter their country; India is no exception, given its history of refusing visas (many a times, for political reasons). Aap karo to sahi, aap par aayi to mirchi lagi? Oh, and companies abroad get Indian IT talent not because it is good, but because it is cheap (and eventually delivers projects) - big difference. If Indian IT was so dang awesome, you'd think they'd be visionaries in the field, but nope, by and large, Indians consume; they do not invent, but rather implement existing technologies, and have little to offer to the world in terms of scientific and technological breakthroughs at present - with some exceptions.

1. After Marriage going to usa and expecting citizenship to new born baby without proper paperwork which is illegal.\n2. Going on Student visa coming back to after 1 or 2 year then getting married Indian taking wife to USA and having idea to settle there with the baby is also illegal.\n3. I’m an Indian passport holder living abroad due to personal reasons. I’m eligible for the citizenship of a country that most people would dream to get but I do not like to apply for the same because then I would have to renounce my Indian citizenship (India does not allow dual citizenship). Indians themselves are responsible for visa rejections because most of our people (not all) go under the disguise of tourists with the intention to settle in that country. What kind of treatment would you expect then? I came legally and despite never compromising with my cultural values, I have always felt welcomed in the country that I live in. It’s about how you present yourself in the country that you live in. People are good everywhere in this world.

Governments making money from taking money from immigrants via their visa fees and school fees.\n\nGranted, these western countries need people who will take up the jobs their people won't do, etc, but their infrastructure and system is not designed to cope with the volume of people they are simply taking money from.\n\nNaturally, many of these immigrants will also put a strain on the welfare system. I having a hard time understanding the migration north for a free ride. The jobs here are short and people are just starting to get back to work from the pandemic. When a US citizen is arrested, who picks up their kids from school. What about their trauma? You were in limbo the moment you decided to leave your country to break into the US. Want to enter the US? Easy, get a passport before you leave your country. If you want to move and work, apply for an employment visa before you leave your country. Didn't plan ahead, your problem.

First you get approval and then travel. You can’t just go to the border and wait, and when declined be frustrated. When I moved here in 2004, I had 2 years before process was finalized and approved. And only then I was able to come to the country through a legal process. It has to be done right.

Wow so I’m a Canadian living in the US and I’ve been doing my process legally and I entered the country legally but wait I haven’t gotten no ID nor social security so when they come they get everything like in 3-6 months and I’ve been waiting for 6 years.

It doesn't just happen in Canada, US, UK, Aus but also welcoming countries like Thailand, UAE.\n2) Indian Visa (to visit India) itself is one of the most expensive and complicated to get for foreigners, so other countries have no incentive to make it easier for Indian citizens.\n3) Developed countries know that if they make it 'easier' for Indians to travel to their country, they will end up with tens of thousands who wont want to go back to India. It is already the case when its difficult to get a visa, imagine the situation if its made easier.\n4) Most of the Indian tourists fall under the mass category, they are not like the heavy spending Chinese tourists. We are not the most well behaved, so till we start getting more affluent, we wont be in as much demand.

We should never forget that there is one thing in the world that when it gets completely destroyed, can still be repaired. And that happens to be a country. This is not true for anything else.

Well india now has more than 1 billion middle class people looking to travel abroad. Lots of countries cannot handle the sheer number of indian tourists. India gets more than 70% of the usa H1B Visas so it's already getting most of the world's Visas. Maybe Indians should stay home and support states like Goa that are suffering from a lack of tourists

Well, there are good Indians and scammers Indian. Scammers in India are causing headaches for good Indians. That is the facts. For instance, recently some Indians took a huge loan in UAE and left for Canada with that money. That has put the UAE government in a position to make the visa process more difficult to find out if bad people are getting the visa or not. I would say, the Indian government should introduce a process to thoroughly investigate a person before they apply for a foreign visa, and it should be honest to see some improvement in Indian behavior in the foreign countries. If not, that number is just going to go down. It doesn’t matter how much you scream. Do that for the sake of good Indian people.
