Its good that people are exposing Canada and only crude, uneducated and raw Indian crowd that is coming and settling here. Your politicians and education system deserve to be blamed. Your colleges and universities betrayed International students who wanted to work in their own field of choice by promising them every possible help. Unfortunately most of the students realize this only after living there for a few years. By that time your universities and colleges have already gulped the money paid by the international students. They don't care if you die on streets or remain homeless or go back to your own country. STOP COMPLAINING.

There is a reason Indians will do anything not to live in their own country. I’ve been forced to travel to India on business several times. I made a good living in that job but I quit just because I had to travel to India. The place is a literal shit hole.

Indian here, I applied for a Canada PR and just missed the PR score cut off by a few points, I am from one of the top universities in India, have a computer science bachelors and masters in economics, I am opening my own tech startup here and would have loved to open it in Canada and drive Canada's GDP. \n\nBut you know who get the highest score for PR? Low skilled people who do fake degrees(which are so easy to get it is lame, by the way I can also do it, but it will spoil by education reputation). The immigration system of Canada is a joke, It treats all degrees, jobs and universities as equal. Best of all I was offered to pay $20k by someone to get a Canadian PR. Again I can pay that much but do I want to immigrate to a country whose citizenship is being sold this cheap?\n\nTrust me when I say it Canada is getting the most average and at times the worst people from India. Indian government though should thank Canada for taking all these low skilled people from India that send Canadian Dollars back to India. They take away the middle class jobs, housing, etc in Canada and worse for Canada send back money to India leading to pressure on Canadian currency and reserves.\n\nThe simplest solution is to halt whatever nonsense immigration policy Canada has and only allow three kinds of immigration, people who secure high paying jobs in recognised companies, entrepreneurs that get funding from investors Canadian government recognises and count university scores only from top tier universities. Finally make it super easy for these high skilled people and difficult for anyone else.

The majority of these European’s fit into the cultural identity of “Canadian” obviously Canada is a close cousin of the U.K. and I’m sure Indians at first were fine, but in the last 10 years they opened the flood gates to every Indian and their grandma and now every province is becoming Brampton, Ontario but Trudeau doesn’t care he spends most his time in hotels outside of Canada.

I was thinking of doing my Masters in Computer Science in Canada but thankfully I didn't. Just after my decision Covid started. Thank god I chose to stay in India and got a job. The last time I went to Canada, the airport was so full of Indians. Truly didn't even feel like I was in North America at all.

There are some valid points in the video. However, I didn't get it when you said there are people here who don't look Canadian and don't feel Canadian. Punjabi Sikhs from India have been part of Canada since the early 1900s, and alot more came in the 1970s.... So the sikhs have been part of Canada for a long time... Now, coming back to immigration point, blame the federal govt. and not the people.... I have alot points on why Indian people live in Brampton but..... I feel like it would easy to explain in a face to face conversation.

They just happened to move to this area because of close proximity to Toronto and affordable housing at one time. In the early 80s, there was an influx of Indians that moved to a large housing apartment on Weston rd and st. Clair. As they got their feet on the ground with jobs, they moved to Brampton/Mississauga because there was a boom of new housing. It’s no different from other places in the gta like when the Europeans came, they congregate to certain towns and cities. Woodbridge with Italians, Portuguese in certain areas in Toronto, Chinatown, et cetera. And people are speaking their own languages in these cities I mentioned. This is truly about a visible minority. European immigrants in the 50s to 70s were told that there was too much immigration as well. It’s a cycle

So 3 years ago my job which had a lot of workers Canadian or around the globe. Fast forward to today. 80% of my coworkers are now Indian. My bosses are Indian now. And the first time in 11 years I worked there. My bosses tried to have me work on Christmas Day!

I'm an immigrant. Came here in the early 90s as a 3 year old. And i remember seeing people of all backgrounds in school. Eastern Europeans, Asians, and etc. But now they all seem to be Indian. Why do we keep importing Indians? Toronto now is comprised mostly of Indians and Asians. We have no homes, infrastructure is falling apart, and hospital wait times are at an all time high. International students all Indians. All the cars getting stolen are by Indians. The gold heist at Pearson all Indian.

Friend lives in a small town. She was excited that there was a new Dairy Queen opening up. Figured she could get a part time job there. Nope, Indians bought the building, bought the apartments upstairs, and aren’t hiring anyone because they brought all of their own people. When is this crap going to stop? They are moving into condos now. Only a matter of time before they move their entire families into condo buildings and take the whole thing over. 10:58 Totally agree, I am an Indian born naturalized citizen. I chose to move here, so onus is on me to acclimatize and respect the culture and tradition of the country where I moved. Respecting traditions of a country of my choosing doesn’t mean that I am loosing touch with my own traditions. When we go to meet someone, we don’t expect them to meet all our whims and fancies, but we kind of respect their way of living and adapt. Unfortunately most of us want all of the privileges but none of the responsibilities. We definitely deserve all the riches that we are getting cz we have put in all the hard work, but at the same time, we should not be exclusive when it comes to providing opportunities to other races or cultures. It should not be that as an Indian i will rent out exclusively to Indians or will give jobs exclusively to Indian students. This should be fair. We should also be open to other races and cultures. If someone didn’t open their minds and gave us opportunity, we would not have been here. We should do the same.

i am in a college in a small town in Ontario and in my class we have 54 students and only 4 not including me are local students and the rest basically 90% are indian and the rest nepali from Philippines and some African countries and i moved here from usa with my family in 2015 and even up till 2019 canada was livable and now its not its impossible my plan is when i graduate i will move back to usa or some cheap country like Mexico Thailand and work remotely i am not against immigration but the path this country is going in accepting crazy amounts of student visa is wild also i feel some what bad for some of these students they get sold on a lie being canada is affordable they can find job easily and live comfortable but at the same time these students should do their research and its nothing but a infinite money maker for collages but at the same time they are kind of forced to do so to make money cause here in Ontario ford cut budgets for collages

Most of the Canadians think Punjabi and Sikh community are there all of a sudden , The Indian Sikh and Punjabi community started to immigrate to Canada from the late 80’s , And these guys are super rich people in Brampton holding million dollar homes , yeah there is a spike in immigration in the recent times due to mismanagement. When Indian immigration lawyers, Indian owned employment agencies who employ illegals and pay them cash, indians who have figured out to come to Canada as a part time student for courses that do not benefit canada at all, a school system that is corrupt and accepts all Indians and does not report Indians that have canceled their studies once they get their visa, a liberal government with a incompetent immigration minister , it's only going to get worse for Brampton and turn the rest of ontario in to an Indian shithole. Try moving to India and change their culture and see what happens .

The common reasons why Brampton has so many Indians.\n1) Even in India there are 22 official languages, but unofficial 121 languages with over 700 different dialects. In Brampton, the majority are Punjabi and Gujarati. These names first come from the language they speak, later to the Indian State. Each language represents a culture. In India also everyone feels safe within their community because it is human nature to bully someone who doesn't look the same as them. So, they feel safe within the community. This new Woke culture calls it racism and hate, but I think it is a common human nature.\n2) Helping each other to settle in the same community. So, they prefer to land here first and somehow settle in. The government programs for newcomers are just a waste of taxpayers' money.\n3) Closer to the Airport and Public Transportation is not too bad.\n4) A lot of part-time work opportunities for the students and newcomers. (Not the same under Trudeau anymore)\n5) A lot of activities for parents of the immigrants because they can't learn English or Culture at this age.\n6) Indian Food and Grocery are easily available.\n\nIt was not that bad before, but the latest influx of unskilled immigrants and students with the absence of manners has taken it to an unrecoverable level.

Indians ( besides Chinese, Japanese, Koreans......)are the most successful migrant community in western nations.\nWhy? A couple of girls I know applied to a Dollar tree as recent graduates and looking for work to save up and pay for college. A week later, they went to the same store in time to see about a dozen indian men and women applying. I looked at her and said, well I guess you can kiss your chance for a job goodbye. Both never got a call.

I know its a two side issue (Indian and Canadian). But I would blame our present govt for letting so many international students from a specific country. They didn't even bother to estimate the demographics of people who they are letting in. When you are looking for multiculturalism then set a quota from each country rather then only from one country. And also must make sure they speak english or French and at the same time adapt to our rules and culture.

I’m a little late to this video but have a lot to say. As a Canadian of Indian descent, I have always avoided Brampton. There is a stark difference between Indians from Brampton and those of us that are from other cities. This situation is out of control mainly due to JT but also colleges that have setup feeder international schools that cater just to Indian students. I’d imagine Chinese students have something similar to this as well, they’re just more quiet. \n\nA lot of the comments come off as offensive but it is what it is, There are too many of my ethnic people here and they’re not assimilating let alone intending to do so. Chain migration is another problem as it brings in an older generation that has no desire to learn English. Crime is having a runaway effect because of the environment they come from, fights break out at intersections, parking lots, backyards, front yards, etc. This is reckless and embarrassing for all Indians, especially us Punjabis. This goes unreported because of how vindictive these people are because of whichever town/city they came from. There are also rumours that these female students are home wreckers so there’s another layer. \n\nMy solution: \n1) Stop immigration, these people are giving our entire community a bad rep when we’ve worked so hard to get to where we are in this country. Return to skills based immigration, not WEF-based. \n2) Cap the international student populations tied to the census - this opens up opportunities for international students from ALL countries and walks of life. \n3) International students cannot be allowed to work - Canadian students First, Canada First. \n4) After graduation, give students 1 year to find a job in their field of study. If they can’t find one, send them back and learn skills and then that’s their only back to Canada. \n5) if they do make it to immigration, we need a better system than just a simple memorization test - have them demonstrate their command of the English language, look at their value added and potential for the future. \n6) Conservatives need to be a part of the solution. A lot of the comments are just complaints and complaining will get these folks voting red vs voting blue each and every time. That guy commenting about no temples in Timmins will just push these people to the liberals and this is what JT is counting on. We need to show these folks what being Canadian is about so that they leave Brampton and assimilate. I’ve introduced countless folks to Pierre and have changed their outlooks, y’all need to do the same. Show them that they’re being used by the liberals and that’ll get them going, cause no one wants to be used. \n\nAs always, TNC reports it as it is and that’s what I’m here for. Thank you!

I'm not against immigration, but in moderation. My best friend in grade 6 was and Indian girl, that was a long time ago. I have friends of all backgrounds, but we need equality and diversity spread out! We can't have immigrants piled into one area taking it over and having all the other cultures leave. That's not proper immigration or diversity. When my child's school has to recognize Ramadan and other ethnic holidays, it's not right. WE didn't move to India, they came here. THEY must adopt our cultural ways in public. Wear what you want, but don't force my city, my children to adopt your ways.

I travelled extensively in India and felt very safe 90% of the time. Mostly lovely generous kind people who are very family oriented and well educated. The illegal immigrants and street living non Indians would be a bigger concern for me.

Everyone complaining should ask themselves a few questions. These Indians and by extent all immigrants have significant barriers. I'll refer to only indians here. They have names which are hard to pronounce. Some of them have a look only a mother can love. They cant speak as well as we do. We cannot understand them. Majority of them come here w nothing. Yet...yet...they have become THE Richest diaspora in America and they are not doing too badly here in Canada as well. Now you have to ask yourself why is this the case. They start frombthe bottom and in 20 years or less they end up at the top. I think most rational sane ppl will know the answer, other immigrants will know the answer. The answer is: they work hard at educating themselves and then they work hard at their jobs. Some of you will say they get tax breaks and child tax subsidies etc. But those things are handouts...its not designed for you to become rich from, just to keep from drowning. So its not handouts. They literally work hard all their lives. Do you see any of them at the ball game? Or out partying? Or out having a grand time. The same ones delivering your uber eats in 20 years will be richer than you. Even with all the barriers I mentioned before. I am an Eastern European national whos been here for the past 40 years.

Why go to a country like this at all???? Are there no good universities here? To be Indian rich suffering like this everyday, thousands of kms away from your home, I would rather be Indian middle class and much happier.\n\nAnd I've seen enough shit like this that my mind now justifies every time I hear that a foreigner's stuff got stolen.

Being an immigrant myself I have to say that what one might see happening in Brampton happens to another cities as the result of sexual revolution, abortion and the destruction of the family that came to be in Canada since the 70s. I’m a Canadian citizen and married to a Canadian born citizen and we have talked about this many times. In order to recover this country families need to have more autonomy on raising children but also parents have to be more involved. It’s true there’s a lot of Indians everywhere and guess what they tend to keep their values. Here in Canada as per my understanding people used to pray the Our Father in public schools and children used to get bibles, families used to go to church and now? \nThere needs to be a very big swift in policies and others but the biggest swift needs to come from families within.

It’s shows the educated Indian handling situation in a calm manners and useless white people not everyone who don’t have basic manners . Manners came from learning not by being white . once upon a time white people come to India to work and to do bussiness now Indians doing bussiness and working in white people nations.
