Deporting undocumented immigrants will cause many small businesses to struggle. Who will do the work that most people don’t want to do—like agricultural jobs, dishwashing, and lawn care? Undocumented immigrants contribute more to this country than many realize, and they also pay taxes through their purchases. Food prices will rise if we deport them because most Americans won’t take these jobs for low wages. If Americans take on these roles, they are likely to demand higher pay, which would increase costs across the board. In the end, we would be hurting ourselves and our finances. It’s already challenging enough, with many Americans living paycheck to paycheck. I believe that a mass deportation of undocumented immigrants would be a serious mistake.

I work way too much and have way too many stresses. There’s not enough emotional capacity left to spend this much time obsessing about immigrants. \n\nChina and Russia are buying up real estate in our backyard, and hacking our networks, and Republicans are worried about brown people in flip-flops climbing a fence.

Deport millions of illegal immigrants is a goal. However, many of them are working in farms or constructions. Without them, we may face a big shortage of labors. And, those industries may suffer because most of the Americans don't want to do this kind of works.

A contracting economy overall, considering illegal immigrants spend money on the economy. Reducing the population by 15 million will result in a recession.

This is bs. There are many people that voted for Trump that is against mass deportation of law abiding illegal immigrants, but are for deporting violent criminals and securing the border and keeping illegal immigration out. What about the dreamers? They should be exempt from deportation. They speak English, they've assimilated into American culture, they own businesses and most importantly, being deported back to Mexico is technically being deported to a foreign country they have never lived in.

Crops will rot in the field prices will rise inflation will skyrocket deficits will outpace GDP. I understand deporting criminals but why deport farm workers and service industry employees who have been here peacefully for many years. The George W. Bush and Obama administrations used that authority sparingly, each restricting visa issuance to just one country in order to force compliance. So this mass deporation will cost $100 bil to achieve (some estimates put it at over $300 bil) and those immigrants pay approx. $100 bil in taxes (including paying into SS, which they can't use) and many of them do menial jobs for low wages that citizens do not want to do (unless you pay them more, which raises prices)... combine this with potential tariffs and this sounds like a foolproof plan for a recession with stagflation. I want to say Trump voters can FAFO, but unfortunately they are going to bring everyone down with them

Lets go beyond the immigration status of these workers. That has been talked about endlessly. The US economy would take a hit if this deportation plan goes through. These workers are critical in many sectors: construction, agriculture, service, tourism etc etc. When people call for deportng workers on this scale, it really is a case of careful what you wish for

If this is not controlled, as in, not allowing them in because we have no room, it's because Trudeau wants it to happen. The ones here already get more money a month in assistance than a Canadian who has paid taxes all their lives... and that right there should make you livid with the Liberals... how many homeless immigrants do we see in the thousands of encampments in Canada ??? I am sick to death of media cherry picking facts they want to share. Oh poor immigrants. I am sorry, if this harsh but America can't fix the world and we aren't responsible for those from other countries. It really annoys me that all we hear is poor immigrants and immigrants rights. Sice Biden has taken office the housing crisis has gotten out of the control. Why? Simple math, you move in billions of people, equal population what you already have, but can't increase housing, they have to go somewhere. With the government helping migraints, more is going to them than our own. What is happening is they are pushing out people in migraint held cities and displacing existing residents. So those disbled , elderly, veterans and drug addicted people who are being displaced are being forced to smaller communities that don't have the infrastructure in place to cope with so many displaced people. Then you end up with a huge issue of Homeless people trying to live in Tents in the middle of winter. j You have a vast number of elderly women taking to van life because they can't afford to live any other way. Would you like to your Grandma living in Van, constantly on the go? YOu are being UNAmerican in your news reporting, when you fail to give fair reporting and do equal amount of investigating into who this actually affects amount the American people. He says he pays his employees well and has never faced challenges in finding reliable workers

President Trump lamented at his rallies about having to deport so many illegal aliens. But he said the USA just cannot sustain the amount coming into the country. Specifically, we the people cannot afford the amount of money it takes to support millions of illegal immigrants. Blame it on the Democrats. They caused the problem.

Deportation of illegal immigrants is a fully valid policy, but it is neither enough and has to be done as a balanced policy and with humanity. Legalisation for many would be a good idea. Putting millions into camps will bring a disaster.

I can see services and consumer products going up and of course you will have another liar in the WH press secretary room blaming the Biden administration for it. Same old story. I worked in Criminal Court (NYC Metro area) for many years. We always checked for Immigration Holds on those who were arraigned in our courts. How it plays out is that INS would take a long time to appear where detainee was. Court (local w/ separate budget) wants to process the case quickly just like the local jail want to discharge because it cost money to keep people locked up. If INS is not fast enough to appear the people are released.

What they should do is hit pause on immigration. I believe they should grandfather in those who arrived prior to a specified year.\n\nI’m sure the majority is ok with immigration. JUST DO IT LEGALLY and for the gov to stop over extending our taxes and money. \n\nAmerica should come first. Americans have been put on the back burner while illegal immigrants get way more help which in turn hurts the very people who were born and raised here. We got people and children starving in this very country yet have a helping hand for those who don’t live here, came illegally or even like us. \n\nSo put the pause on and help Americans then help others. Other countries have stricter policies than we do and they’re thriving. and I believe don’t have as many issues as we do. \n\nAmerica leaders need to look into how other successful countries are running things and see how they can implement or improve on those.

Once , my cousin and his friend had an roommate who’s an Indian immigrant. That Indian guy caused trouble to my cousin and his friend. He borrowed their stuff with out asking them. And the Indian dude don’t know how to use the bathroom properly. He uses toilet paper after using the toilet. But he threw them in the garbage instead of the toilet. And there was toilet ppr with shit showing in the trash. And then my cousin and his friend got into an argument with the Indian and my cousin and his friend complained to the land lady and the landlady kicked out the Indian guy evicting him. It a problem that there are too many Indian ppl in Canada. U Indians are always into other ppl face! Thinking that this country is like India!

I'm a black Canadian who's a naturalised citizen, and I agree that the immigration quota at 500,000 per annum under Trudeau until very recently was way too high. With high inflation, rising employment, brutal real estate and rent prices, a lack of housing for students and workers, and an overburdened healthcare system, the problem is not immigrants but our inability to be able to absorb that many while protecting the services and interests of Canadian citizens. In short, this is the Liberal government's fault for this situation. When I was finally able to visit home in Calgary in summer 2023 after years of Covid travel restrictions, it shocked me how messed up things were.

I came to Germany in 2008 to do my Bachelors and later did my masters and working for 10 years now. Got my citizenship 5 years ago. Lets say i have to travel a lot due to my work.. If i move out of Germany, it would be only because of insane tax . I expected even a colder or harsher condition but since my expectation was soo low, it was all good.. At my work place, the working language is only German. I knew that before so it was not a hard time when i was thinking from time to time regarding the difficulty.. \nOne thing and most important thing, Even after getting your citizenship in Germany you are not automatically a German. You are just a paper german ( Even though i dont hold other passport ). I knew this before and it was not hard for me but for many immigrants who become german citizens, they will still be seen as an Ausländer .. Thats the reality which will take another decade to change.

There are too many Indians in Canada. This country should impose a percentage quota on each country like the USA. For every 10 immigrants you meet on the streets 6 were from India. Too much curry and Bollywood.

Immigration is terribly difficult and expensive into the United States. No normal person would be able to immigrate to the US without marrying in. This is the problem and this is one of the reasons why there are so many illegals. If the process was actually more feasible in requirements, standards, and was more easy to follow (instructions are immensely confusing), we'd be better off.

I also came to Canada in 2006 as an immigrant with my 2 bags and started my new life with empty handed which almost all Indians had started on their time. Yes it’s very hard to adopt other cultures 100% for first generation. But have you think how this new immigrants have their own house and good jobs or business. Why their kids achieved higher education without any loan because their parents worked 7 days without looking around so called culture. They believe in work hard and focus on their family and kids and in extra time visit temple or Gurudwara just to keep live their believes. Do you know how many places where you find 3 times free hot food for everyone in Brampton at Gurudwara and Temple without looking at his originality. \nDon’t think the immigrants are coming here are poor in their country or helpless like refugees. Most of are millionaires in India but in Indian culture the stupid thoughts is to earn for next 7 generations so because of that greediness they work here 7 days and that’s why they are not homeless. As they have some values of their Indian culture they have not drug addictions.\nNot 100% Indian are good and loyal or honest. There are few which you can find in any culture or religion.\nSo in bottom line immigrants are here because of govt policies and invitations. They are not came as refugees. You can’t forced anyone where they have to stay and in how many percentage. Many people don’t live in GTA or ran away from GTA because they can’t afford house and can’t stand in competitive market. Government should skilled own citizen or make more powerful before invite highly skilled immigrants from other countries otherwise new immigrants will take jobs from original and that will be continued with us too.

What about the illegal immigration? People come to Canada under visitor visa and they can even work unionized, open bank account, get a credit card, build credit score, financing a car, open a company. Its crazy! How can it happens? \n\nThousands of YouTube channels (in many languages) teaching what to say, how to behave, how to lie to immigration officers at the airport when getting in Canada. Also teaching tourists how to get jobs, open bank account, etc. (how I said above).

The main challenge is getting blue kard or work visa on time. There are many cases employer cancelling job offers because immigration office is not providing blue card or work visa on time and even taking 6 months to 1 year for same.
