Deporting undocumented immigrants will cause many small businesses to struggle. Who will do the work that most people don’t want to do—like agricultural jobs, dishwashing, and lawn care? Undocumented immigrants contribute more to this country than many realize, and they also pay taxes through their purchases. Food prices will rise if we deport them because most Americans won’t take these jobs for low wages. If Americans take on these roles, they are likely to demand higher pay, which would increase costs across the board. In the end, we would be hurting ourselves and our finances. It’s already challenging enough, with many Americans living paycheck to paycheck. I believe that a mass deportation of undocumented immigrants would be a serious mistake.

I work way too much and have way too many stresses. There’s not enough emotional capacity left to spend this much time obsessing about immigrants. \n\nChina and Russia are buying up real estate in our backyard, and hacking our networks, and Republicans are worried about brown people in flip-flops climbing a fence.

Im so confused why its a problem to deport illegal, undocumented immigrants for so many. I would like to understand. People need to be legally in a country.
|
| 2024-11-08 | 0 |
She Asked him how do you do it. And his answer is I don’t think it’s that complicated. I think they may end up sending legal immigrants back to their original homelands and that would be a crime. I mean look what they did to all those illegal immigrant children when they separated them from their families and too many of them just went missing. Did you people really forget about that? Of course you did since they weren’t your children you selfish a***s.

Deport millions of illegal immigrants is a goal. However, many of them are working in farms or constructions. Without them, we may face a big shortage of labors. And, those industries may suffer because most of the Americans don't want to do this kind of works.
|
| 2024-11-08 | 0 |
Regardless of how you feel about illegal immigrants, mass deportations will result in 1. An increase in prices, especially food, considering many if not mostworkers in agriculture are illegals 2. A contracting economy overall, considering illegal immigrants spend money on the economy. Reducing the population by 15 million will result in a recession.

This is bs. There are many people that voted for Trump that is against mass deportation of law abiding illegal immigrants, but are for deporting violent criminals and securing the border and keeping illegal immigration out. What about the dreamers? They should be exempt from deportation. They speak English, they've assimilated into American culture, they own businesses and most importantly, being deported back to Mexico is technically being deported to a foreign country they have never lived in.
|
| 2024-11-08 | 0 |
I see many of you are still struggling to understand how Trump won. It’s many fold, but I can some it up rather concisely.\n\nYour entire mantra was “Vote for us so we can have our way and do what I want or democracy dies”\n\nWhich is so ironic that the thing you think will happen is what that statement represents. \n\nAdd on that, you attacked your political opponent for 8 years with lies, rhetoric (which included degrading remarks about the general populace) and a weak economy and weak foreign policy with a severe influx of illegal immigration. \n\nYou did this to yourselves

Well how many million of illegal immigrants do we need to help with businesses
|
| 2024-11-08 | 0 |
Crops will rot in the field prices will rise inflation will skyrocket deficits will outpace GDP. I understand deporting criminals but why deport farm workers and service industry employees who have been here peacefully for many years. They are doing the jobs that many Americans do not want to do.\nIf you don’t understand that then you are not thinking about what is best for the country and hard working immigrants.
|
| 2024-11-08 | 0 |
The reality is that these immigrants, illegal or not, do work that many others don’t want to do. There could be a solution to make them permanent citizens, but to just deport them will have massive consequences that will impact everywhere, Trump voters too. Remember that when the prices go up and some things aren’t available

A functioning immigration system must remove illegal aliens
\n
\nRecent disclosures by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) that hundreds of thousands of criminal immigrants are at large in the United States raise the question of why the Biden-Harris administration isn’t doing more to remove them. Increasing deportations is a necessary part of fixing what Vice President Kamala Harris refers to as “our broken immigration system.” She is right to describe it that way. But the administration in which she serves was the one to break it, not least by impeding ICE deportations.
\n
\nCurrently, about 1.3 million aliens under final orders of removal — those who have received due process and been ordered deported — are on ICE’s “non-detained docket” of 7 million individuals. These individuals include criminal aliens, whom Congress has directed ICE to detain and remove. But ICE can’t remove many of them because they’re from so-called recalcitrant countries — nations that refuse to provide the U.S. government with the travel documents it needs to facilitate the return of their nationals. The Supreme Court has held that, with only narrow exceptions, even detained criminals due to be deported must be released after six months absent a “significant likelihood of removal in the reasonably foreseeable future.” If ICE can’t get their travel documents, there’s no likelihood of removal.
\n
\nFortunately, Congress gave the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) a tool to force recalcitrant countries to comply. Unfortunately, the Biden-Harris administration won’t use it. Under section 243(d) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), once DHS notifies the State Department that a foreign country “denies or unreasonably delays” the return of its nationals, the secretary of state must “order consular officers in that foreign country to discontinue granting immigrant visas or nonimmigrant visas, or both,” to nationals of that country. The George W. Bush and Obama administrations used that authority sparingly, each restricting visa issuance to just one country in order to force compliance. As my colleague Mark Krikorian recently noted, “Trump made much wider use of it, and got results.”\nSOURCE, CENTER FOR IMMIGRATION STUDIES

Anytime something happens they want to blame immigrants. it happened in the great depression, we were blamed for taking jobs and they deported many mexican Americans that had to be later repatriated same crap again immigrants being blamed for stuff and again mass deportation, I want to see white children working the fields and the service jobs

NO PRICE TAG TO RETURN THE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT TO THEIR COUNTRY OF ORIGIN!!!! \nIT’s One Millions time BETTER THAN NO PRICE TAG TO TAKE CARE THEM ALL FOR YEARS AND YEARS!!!!!??♀️\n( So No free Medicare, Housing, No special help $$$ with housing, Schools with free lunch and free breakfast, legals fees, transportations, and many more. Our taxes are not for that, instead the benefits should go back to the taxpayers who are entitled to receive them!!! )\n\nGoing back and Complete all the paperwork, come here legally and don't be a criminal from day one with come here illegally. \nAustralia has a special visa for farm workers from 18-35, come legally, registered and checked with a clean record, really want to work, and not be a parasite here!??\n\nAs US citizens, that's what we want!\nRespect and obey the rules, no special reasons and special treatment!\n\nJUST COMMON SENSE!???

Theyre dishonest.\nAt least my cuban stepfather was able to not hide the FACT he hated fellow immigrants because of politics.\nIts like his type is afraid that too many immigrants could mean less for them.\nImagine being that heartless Latino guy or girl.\nGross stuff.

So this mass deporation will cost $100 bil to achieve (some estimates put it at over $300 bil) and those immigrants pay approx. $100 bil in taxes (including paying into SS, which they can't use) and many of them do menial jobs for low wages that citizens do not want to do (unless you pay them more, which raises prices)... combine this with potential tariffs and this sounds like a foolproof plan for a recession with stagflation. I want to say Trump voters can FAFO, but unfortunately they are going to bring everyone down with them
|

Lets go beyond the immigration status of these workers. That has been talked about endlessly. The US economy would take a hit if this deportation plan goes through. These workers are critical in many sectors: construction, agriculture, service, tourism etc etc. When people call for deportng workers on this scale, it really is a case of careful what you wish for

If this is not controlled, as in, not allowing them in because we have no room, it's because Trudeau wants it to happen. The ones here already get more money a month in assistance than a Canadian who has paid taxes all their lives... and that right there should make you livid with the Liberals... how many homeless immigrants do we see in the thousands of encampments in Canada ??? If they come in Roxham Rd. put a legit facility there to turn them away instead of RCMP carrying their belongings into Canada..... SORRY >>>> NO VACANCIES

I am sick to death of media cherry picking facts they want to share. Oh poor immigrants. I am sorry, if this harsh but America can't fix the world and we aren't responsible for those from other countries. It really annoys me that all we hear is poor immigrants and immigrants rights. Sice Biden has taken office the housing crisis has gotten out of the control. Why? Simple math, you move in billions of people, equal population what you already have, but can't increase housing, they have to go somewhere. With the government helping migraints, more is going to them than our own. What is happening is they are pushing out people in migraint held cities and displacing existing residents. So those disbled , elderly, veterans and drug addicted people who are being displaced are being forced to smaller communities that don't have the infrastructure in place to cope with so many displaced people. Then you end up with a huge issue of Homeless people trying to live in Tents in the middle of winter. j You have a vast number of elderly women taking to van life because they can't afford to live any other way. Would you like to your Grandma living in Van, constantly on the go? YOu are being UNAmerican in your news reporting, when you fail to give fair reporting and do equal amount of investigating into who this actually affects amount the American people. Far as I am concerned you need to be shut down, because you are enemy of the US.

All of these millions and millions and millions of illegal immigrants in this country now I'm curious how many of them voted for Donald Trump and did they vote for him hoping that he would change his mind about the deportation

Many people have expressed concerns about potential labor shortages if undocumented immigrants are deported. However, my uncle, who owns a large construction company and several auxiliary businesses in a blue state, has a different perspective. He hires only legally authorized workers, verifying immigration status, driver’s licenses, and conducting drug tests and background checks for all roles, including maintenance and cleanup. He says he pays his employees well and has never faced challenges in finding reliable workers

I wonder if they will give the immigration stazi a cup of coffee before they are put on the truck for deportation, never in my life have I witnessed so many turkeys voting for thanksgiving

President Trump lamented at his rallies about having to deport so many illegal aliens. But he said the USA just cannot sustain the amount coming into the country. Specifically, we the people cannot afford the amount of money it takes to support millions of illegal immigrants. Blame it on the Democrats. They caused the problem.
|

There are not Millions of Immigrants who are also Criminals.... They need to stop that narrative....Most of the Immigrants come here to work , and have a better life for themselves, and many send money back home to help their Family..... It is Sad that many Latino's who Voted for Trump, voted against their friends and relatives best interest.....

Deportation of illegal immigrants is a fully valid policy, but it is neither enough and has to be done as a balanced policy and with humanity. Legalisation for many would be a good idea. Putting millions into camps will bring a disaster.

I can see services and consumer products going up and of course you will have another liar in the WH press secretary room blaming the Biden administration for it. Same old story. It will probably be a story similar to the border wall, Mexico will pay for it. Where's the wall and when did Mexico pay for the part that was built? Ah, let's not mention that all those privately owned jails and detention centers (many owned by wealthy reps) will be ripping off the federal government/you the taxpayer. They will overcharge for lodging, food, blankets, you name it. \nRemember, you might want deport all the illegal immigrants, but there are international laws as well. The countries that you might want to deport those immigrants might say, no. we don't want them. So, then, they become the responsibility of the US Government. Those people will be in limbo, meanwhile, we the taxpayers will paying for housing, feeding, clothing, them and their health care. \n\nOh, we haven't talked about climate change.... migration to the northern wealthier countries won't stop due to climate change. It won't stop here or in Europe. But, no many people are talking about it or preparing for it. \n\nNow the Reps have control of the executive branch, the congress (both chambers), and the Supreme Court is in his pocket. So, there will be no one to blame but themselves if they don't fix what they say they will fix: Immigration, ACA, the Economy, and more.

I worked in Criminal Court (NYC Metro area) for many years. We always checked for Immigration Holds on those who were arraigned in our courts. How it plays out is that INS would take a long time to appear where detainee was. Court (local w/ separate budget) wants to process the case quickly just like the local jail want to discharge because it cost money to keep people locked up. If INS is not fast enough to appear the people are released.

What they should do is hit pause on immigration. I believe they should grandfather in those who arrived prior to a specified year.\n\nI’m sure the majority is ok with immigration. JUST DO IT LEGALLY and for the gov to stop over extending our taxes and money. \n\nAmerica should come first. Americans have been put on the back burner while illegal immigrants get way more help which in turn hurts the very people who were born and raised here. We got people and children starving in this very country yet have a helping hand for those who don’t live here, came illegally or even like us. \n\nSo put the pause on and help Americans then help others. Other countries have stricter policies than we do and they’re thriving. and I believe don’t have as many issues as we do. \n\nAmerica leaders need to look into how other successful countries are running things and see how they can implement or improve on those.

Once , my cousin and his friend had an roommate who’s an Indian immigrant. That Indian guy caused trouble to my cousin and his friend. He borrowed their stuff with out asking them. And the Indian dude don’t know how to use the bathroom properly. He uses toilet paper after using the toilet. But he threw them in the garbage instead of the toilet. And there was toilet ppr with shit showing in the trash. And then my cousin and his friend got into an argument with the Indian and my cousin and his friend complained to the land lady and the landlady kicked out the Indian guy evicting him. It a problem that there are too many Indian ppl in Canada. U Indians are always into other ppl face! Thinking that this country is like India!

She does not even realize that she could be one of the many people Trump sends the national guard and US military after bc they would question the authenticity of her citizenship. I bet if she were sent to one Trump's Nazi concentration camps, she'd be singing a whole new tune about Trump. This just blows my mind! She obviously didnt listen any of the times Trump said that ALL illegal immigrants are criminals from drug cartels, MS-13, rapists, murderers, from insane asylums, Venezuelan gang members, etc., I didn't hear her say that her family members were any of those things but Donald Trump did.

Because there are more than a million new Indians in the matter of 24 months…. It’s too many too quickly, the system cannot absorb this many; so there is a natural dislike as many newcomers are not adopting … this is not responsible immigration.

Canada is definitely entitled to stop immigration in their national interest . Many Khalistanis indulge in money laundering and, deal in drug and arms.

I'm a black Canadian who's a naturalised citizen, and I agree that the immigration quota at 500,000 per annum under Trudeau until very recently was way too high. With high inflation, rising employment, brutal real estate and rent prices, a lack of housing for students and workers, and an overburdened healthcare system, the problem is not immigrants but our inability to be able to absorb that many while protecting the services and interests of Canadian citizens. In short, this is the Liberal government's fault for this situation. When I was finally able to visit home in Calgary in summer 2023 after years of Covid travel restrictions, it shocked me how messed up things were.

A good analysis on The Print said new migrants to Canada are swinging left. Why? A lot of Keralites with communist and leftist student politics background have entered Canada. How? Role of immigration consultancies in this must be scrutinised. Selective? What are so many of these wastes doing in Canada? Are they QUIETLY WORKING BEHIND SCENES in creating present problems in Canada and between India Canada? These leftist cowards are known to hijack, usurp and manipulate systems through back door to create anarchy. Beware.

I came to Germany in 2008 to do my Bachelors and later did my masters and working for 10 years now. Got my citizenship 5 years ago. Lets say i have to travel a lot due to my work.. If i move out of Germany, it would be only because of insane tax . I expected even a colder or harsher condition but since my expectation was soo low, it was all good.. At my work place, the working language is only German. I knew that before so it was not a hard time when i was thinking from time to time regarding the difficulty.. \nOne thing and most important thing, Even after getting your citizenship in Germany you are not automatically a German. You are just a paper german ( Even though i dont hold other passport ). I knew this before and it was not hard for me but for many immigrants who become german citizens, they will still be seen as an Ausländer .. Thats the reality which will take another decade to change.

There are too many Indians in Canada. This country should impose a percentage quota on each country like the USA. For every 10 immigrants you meet on the streets 6 were from India. Too much curry and Bollywood.

Immigration is terribly difficult and expensive into the United States. No normal person would be able to immigrate to the US without marrying in. This is the problem and this is one of the reasons why there are so many illegals. If the process was actually more feasible in requirements, standards, and was more easy to follow (instructions are immensely confusing), we'd be better off.

I also came to Canada in 2006 as an immigrant with my 2 bags and started my new life with empty handed which almost all Indians had started on their time. Yes it’s very hard to adopt other cultures 100% for first generation. But have you think how this new immigrants have their own house and good jobs or business. Why their kids achieved higher education without any loan because their parents worked 7 days without looking around so called culture. They believe in work hard and focus on their family and kids and in extra time visit temple or Gurudwara just to keep live their believes. Do you know how many places where you find 3 times free hot food for everyone in Brampton at Gurudwara and Temple without looking at his originality. \nDon’t think the immigrants are coming here are poor in their country or helpless like refugees. Most of are millionaires in India but in Indian culture the stupid thoughts is to earn for next 7 generations so because of that greediness they work here 7 days and that’s why they are not homeless. As they have some values of their Indian culture they have not drug addictions.\nNot 100% Indian are good and loyal or honest. There are few which you can find in any culture or religion.\nSo in bottom line immigrants are here because of govt policies and invitations. They are not came as refugees. You can’t forced anyone where they have to stay and in how many percentage. Many people don’t live in GTA or ran away from GTA because they can’t afford house and can’t stand in competitive market. Government should skilled own citizen or make more powerful before invite highly skilled immigrants from other countries otherwise new immigrants will take jobs from original and that will be continued with us too.

What about the illegal immigration? People come to Canada under visitor visa and they can even work unionized, open bank account, get a credit card, build credit score, financing a car, open a company. Its crazy! How can it happens? \n\nThousands of YouTube channels (in many languages) teaching what to say, how to behave, how to lie to immigration officers at the airport when getting in Canada. Also teaching tourists how to get jobs, open bank account, etc. (how I said above).

This guy is right for the most part. A gov't telling the world to come in and not integrate or learn English is a big part of the problem. Then there are Indians who exploit Indians overseas. The thing too is the bad people coming now get so much free stuff. The rest of the immigrants who built this country had no programs yet have to pay for the newcomers who are changing the country. So some things aren't the Indians fault. The rest of us who came and adapted now face discrimination from newcomers and our own people who say Canada has no culture. I come from a time when foreigners got along for the most part. Now so many groups that all hate each other. We came here to get away from the crappy people in our country but now they have followed us here and turn the good land bad.

No one should make comments until actually VISIT Canada and see how many Canadian towns have been destroyed by Trudeau's open immigration policy. This is a REAL immigration problem!!! Its not a racism issue. I just traveled across the entire country from Quebec to Vancouver. It felt like a 3rd world country!!

I would be ashamed of calling someone like her family. And this is also something I don't understand from many immigrants. As soon as they get a green card, they don't care about the needs or wellbeing of other immigrants.

Chile, you ain't stand in line for hours and days, stop the foolishness. I totally understand that ppl need to do things the right way but they are so many other reasons why ppl don't become legal right away. It cost lots of money, resources to learn everything they need to do to become legal. She was one of those who think they're better than any other immigrant.

The main challenge is getting blue kard or work visa on time. There are many cases employer cancelling job offers because immigration office is not providing blue card or work visa on time and even taking 6 months to 1 year for same.
