I’m a little late to this video but have a lot to say. As a Canadian of Indian descent, I have always avoided Brampton. There is a stark difference between Indians from Brampton and those of us that are from other cities. This situation is out of control mainly due to JT but also colleges that have setup feeder international schools that cater just to Indian students. I’d imagine Chinese students have something similar to this as well, they’re just more quiet. \n\nA lot of the comments come off as offensive but it is what it is, There are too many of my ethnic people here and they’re not assimilating let alone intending to do so. Chain migration is another problem as it brings in an older generation that has no desire to learn English. Crime is having a runaway effect because of the environment they come from, fights break out at intersections, parking lots, backyards, front yards, etc. This is reckless and embarrassing for all Indians, especially us Punjabis. This goes unreported because of how vindictive these people are because of whichever town/city they came from. There are also rumours that these female students are home wreckers so there’s another layer. \n\nMy solution: \n1) Stop immigration, these people are giving our entire community a bad rep when we’ve worked so hard to get to where we are in this country. Return to skills based immigration, not WEF-based. \n2) Cap the international student populations tied to the census - this opens up opportunities for international students from ALL countries and walks of life. \n3) International students cannot be allowed to work - Canadian students First, Canada First. \n4) After graduation, give students 1 year to find a job in their field of study. If they can’t find one, send them back and learn skills and then that’s their only back to Canada. \n5) if they do make it to immigration, we need a better system than just a simple memorization test - have them demonstrate their command of the English language, look at their value added and potential for the future. \n6) Conservatives need to be a part of the solution. A lot of the comments are just complaints and complaining will get these folks voting red vs voting blue each and every time. That guy commenting about no temples in Timmins will just push these people to the liberals and this is what JT is counting on. We need to show these folks what being Canadian is about so that they leave Brampton and assimilate. I’ve introduced countless folks to Pierre and have changed their outlooks, y’all need to do the same. Show them that they’re being used by the liberals and that’ll get them going, cause no one wants to be used. \n\nAs always, TNC reports it as it is and that’s what I’m here for. Thank you!

I grew up in Malton (borders Brampton) in the 1980's and it was all Western European and Canadian folks and it was great. Such a sense of community and everyone knew everyone. Us kids would stay out until the street lights came on and played in Parks. It was really safe. We moved away in 2006 because the area had gone such down hill by 1999 and the crime was horrible. Stolen cars, alcohol and drug abusing Punjabi folks and the domestic partner violence of the Indian men beating the crap out of their wives was insane. (I had a friend that was a Peel Region Police officer who ended up leaving because she couldn't take seeing it any longer). I have nothing against Immigration, because my dad was an immigrant, but I do have a problem with the amount of any one country we let in, and the types of people that we let in that contribute to crime and area degradation. It's so sad the slums that have become in Brampton and Malton since we left. I'm glad we got the heck out of there when we did. I feel sorry for all those that are stuck there still. Furthermore with such an influx of immigrants into one area it has driven the house prices and rent through the roof because the pace of immigration was nowhere near the housing starts, and cities think that everyone needs to be packed in like sardines and when you have that many people living in close proximity and you have such expensive living costs it's a disaster waiting to happen and it brings along with it tons of crime and drugs. The Trudeau government really messed up this country and the GTA Cities like Brampton are a shining example of that. It's sick that we pay as much as we do for government at all levels that are this idiotic. It's time we protested in the street and made the government at all levels fear the public again or it's never going to change.

Multi-culturalism is a failed concept. That being said, Canada needs skilled immigration. The biggest flaw in Canadian immigration is extended family based immigration and uncapped asylum immigration. The bar for skilled immigration should be really high. Labor immigration should always be temporary and rotational. You bring in labor, train them, make them work, find the best amongst them, promote them, integrate them and let go of the non-performing ones.

There are foreigners in india that live there (thats okay) - Theres 550 “Canadian” companies operating in India ?? (thats okay), many many Canadians amongst other foreigners go to India to seek medical therapiea for 1/10th of the cost (thats okay), the British invaded india, looted her for 300+ years, killed their men, raped their women, sold them as slaves (thats okay), your channel is spreading hatred and giving rise to bigotry and hatred mister. I travelled to 35 countries- Canadians are everywhere too, lying naked on the beached of mexico ?? Philippines ?? and India ?? and thats okay, indian students bringing in 8 billion dollars a year (thats okay). Basically everything is okay - except not wanting to live with brown skinned people. You are giving rise to nationalist sentiment and spreading hatred. Reporting truth entails reporting the very truth, not one sided theories that are baseless in nature. I have a double Masters, majored in Finance and Economics, “Canada and Canadians” are also third world and backward compared to Scandinavian countries- How does that feel to read ? Truth it is.\n\nOur home ownership is worse amongst OECD countries, We take help from India ?? to take our satellite to spac, we import pharmaceuticals and blood ? from india, many of you probably have indian blood in you if you ever needed blood, truth is I pity reading this. Canadians too are everywhere and are very socially awkward people - How does that sound ?\n\nCanadians are not as literate as the mainland Europeans, that makes us Third world? \n\nIts okay for CPP to invest in india ?? and pay some of you pensioners but not okay for them to live here ? \n\nThird World- I lived in the Yukon, I have seen reserves and the deteriorating standards across many first nations communities- I sometimes wonder how Canada even makes it to the 1st world list of developed countries because even Portugal ?? has better infrastructure than Canada ?? to be honest. Lets us not forget, this land belongs to Immigrants- Includes your great great grandparents who came here, killed the innocent natives, snatched away their lands, separated mothers from babies, some empathy is all it takes. For a minute close your eyes and imagine being deprived, imagine being starved, imagine being looted, imagine your world burned down - Thats what people around the world went through in the hands of the western hypocrisy- Canada is no saint nation, rather the very opposite. \n\nAnd if you really have sentiment against indians, stop benefitting from India and try to function on your own. Can we ? Lol ? ya right. \n\n\nHave some shame mate !

Time to close the country's doors to immigration! Lets shut it down for 5 years! Lets just transition the folk's who have flooded canada in the past 5 year's. We need time for new folks to become Canadian.

Canada isn't building enough houses for all the people its letting in, our infrastructure is in desperate need of upgrades. we have no rapid transit outside of Toronto. The Liberals are just fleecing new immigrants and international students because they've tapped out the Canadian middle class. Canada needs to limit newcomers to 250,000 a year and put an end to the international student scam. Trudeau's WEF approved immigration policies absorb like olestra and the cost of living is killing Canadians and destroying the dreams of locals and newcomers alike. people have been misled about the type of life they are going to get in Canada and that is sad. the government is lying that everything is fine. cost of living and crime are out of control and the Liberals are the biggest thieves of them all.

All u ppl blaming Trudeau, I've lived in Brampton since 94, this change began happening long long ago to the point where we have been minorities since far far before Trudeau. This has nothing to do with Trudeau other than a continuation of what's been happening. Also if it wasn't Trudeau it would be some other name and Brampton would be exactly the same. We live in a world where we get simulated choice. Growing up in Brampton most of my life and now being able to travel for work I say let them have it. Brampton is over priced and over crowded. High crime rate. No night life. Only a handful of choices for cuisine. Canada is an enormous country and the real shame is not being able to move to another city as easy as it should be when a good for nothing one gets invaded the way Brampton has. I’m currently out in Woodstock and all the new houses in the north of the city is ALL Indians. On any nice day you’d think the neighborhood park is little India with all the aunties and uncles at the benches. The damage is done, this country’s immigration system needs a complete overhaul.

A giant false idol on Canada soil, no different than planting a flag of a conquering army. Is this to let Canadians know this land has been taken, or is this directed towards all the other groups from the 3rd world moving into that area, that India has claimed that land for themselves? I was born and raised in Canada and in my 60’s now. I can’t afford to live here anymore, healthcare has declined, personal safety, fuel costs, insurance etc. most of all our politics are a mess on all three major parties. I have young 20 somethings telling me they think Communism is a great idea and they would rather fight for poutine if a war breaks out. Well it’s their future not mine. The AI, bots and trolls on the internet are telling them what they want to hear in order to stir up hate and entitlement. The NDP (New Democratic Party) is neither here nor there, they’re kind of always the minority and swing both the other two parties to divide the vote and gain some form of temporary power. \nI’d like to see a politician that has the balls to stand up to the dictators of this world that shit disturb in every continent because they are such little insecure bastards that they think they can conquer it. I’ve got news for them. Every single dictator in history has failed… miserably and often brutally. We need the kind of leadership in our Country that can produce good governance. Our GDP is just under $60K. The dictators out there are rubbing their greedy little hands, for if there is ever a 3rd world war, Canada will be the prize. We are loaded with resources. Land mass, water, minerals, oil and gas, technology, geographic strategic stronghold etc. Don’t let it slip into the hands of fascists, communists, dictators or totalitarians they always make it worse so that it takes a lifetime to recover. I’ve spent 40 yrs in the workforce, and listened to countless people from every continent who told me the truth about why they left their homeland. People who survived WW2, the Korean War, Vietnam War, communist China, expansionism of the USSR, the caste system and political persecution in India and Bangladesh. Political unrest in Argentina and Chile. I have personally witnessed systemic racism in the USA and Canada. \nI don’t have anything tying me down to stay here so I will be moving on. I think I’ll just become a nomad tourist for a while.

We must have immigration. We Canadians are too highly educated to want to do manual labour. We also do need immigration to prop up our pension plans, which will run out of funds in a few years. Trudeau is the mouthpiece for the technocrats who advise him on immigration, and the ability to match demand with supply. Immigration, healthcare, whatever-policy is not a one-man (king) decision. The liberals set the policy, not the quotas. As for housing, quotas were set and the liberals advised and provided confirmation.\n\nWith respect to housing, many contractors could not afford to build, given the almost doubling in the cost of raw materials. As well, infrastructure provided by cities, in some occasions, could not match the installation of sewers, water supplies, garbage disposal, etc.\n\nTrudeau is a convenient victim. And if you mean by Trudeau, that it is the Liberals in power, you must also include the NDP, who provided the support to keep the Liberals in power. The NDP have a large impact on the immigration decisions. Blame them as well.\n\nAnd if you think that Pierre P with the Conservative party can do better. Lets see how he does in his second term, if there is a second term.

My opinion is to stop the migration of international students entering into the country and focus on bringing in skilled foreign workers, for industries that have a skill shortage such as Healthcare - Nurses, Doctors, Pharmacists etc. Yes, the baby boomers are getting old and we need nurses, doctors and pharmacist to help and care for them. Having a business that was operating within the confines of some of these schools, the students would enroll in Business courses, arts etc and after graduating become truck drivers. The Trudeau government has been letting us down since elected, and always has a great plan but is poorly implemented from this to the stupid carbon Tax. Trudeau needs to go!

Canada cannot make its own money. So what does it do? It has to figure out unethical ways to bring in money. This is done by bringing in immigrants. There is multiple birds with one Stone hit here. Meaning gives immigrants the lie of a better life. So they take all their money that they have in their nation. And they bring it here. That's free money that Canada did not have to work for and now other nations have lost. then they lied to them and tell them that they can get anything they want. For me to get a franchise here while owning other businesses was IMPOSSIBLE 5 yrs ago. But these guys with no credentials are getting it right away. I wasn't allowed to modify my house or rent by law. And they are now allowing all of that. My mother had an international driver's license from France and she had to go through hoops to get her licence here. They are handing things over with no screening to these people which is cause instability and chaos. No structure. They let them bring their huge money here and put into franchises with no credentials. Bank loans free approval no questions asked. Meanwhile, most of those franchises will never make any money. Then they will take that money also, and put it into homes. Rent etc, and this is the part where they basically drain the immigrant money in an instant and put it into Canada economy. Now that you have all these immigrants buying all these businesses. Now you need slave work, so you start Bringing it more immigrants to work those slave jobs. Because in the 1990s, all the way up to 2010. You were encouraging Education. During that time Education was the money Maker. So you kept pushing that. Billions went to universities. Telling people that they'll have a better future. That was the lie of that time. Now you want the same people to work min wage jobs. Now immigration is a bigger Money maker. They say they're bringing in these guys Because they want to work these jobs that a canadians don't want to work. That's because you just made those fake jobs by creating more immigrants to come here have franchises that need minimum wage jobs. But you also promised the rest of us that if we worked hard enough, we will get better jobs. So why would we want to resort to minimum wage jobs on top of you ruining the market for housing inflation taxes etc? How could we even afford while working Minimum wage jobs. And that's why they're bringing people in here. This goes deeper than it seems. socialism. then they get mad At us and demand more taxes and more money. But Canada is a closed system. So how can we afford giving you more than we're making? This insanity has to stop. This chaos needs to stop.

Fine, let them go. Basically Canada should offer three choices for immigrants:\n\n1) bring in enough money with you to enjoy a good life\n\n2)work hard after arriving to make enough money and enjoy a good life\n\n3) leave Canada if you don’t have money and don’t want to work hard for a good life.\n\nNo one should be entitled to a good life, especially when they just arrived. the last thing we need is to pay for people to immigrate and stay here. We should have the same standard for everyone, no matter where they are from.

This is missing SOOOO much of the actual story of what is going on over here. There is a lot of corruption in our housing market fueled by faked incomes just for starters. That's not including the massive supply and demand crunch we are facing on multiple fronts from having too much people suddenly, to having not enough housing suddenly. For those curious, you can find some CBC marketplace videos that cover some of this from a couple years back. The banks have been caught f'ing around as well, what with pushing through mortgage requests that should never have been allowed to occur; and that's just what we know about. \n\nNo offense to anyone in this video, or anyone else like them. We know that a good large chunk of most of you are not at fault here with what's going on. But there are some people from all sorts who are all doing their own dirty little deeds, and they are culminating into the gigantic pile of BS that the rest of us now get to deal with. \n\nAnd make no mistake, what I am saying is not even close to the full extent of the BS going on. This is just one facet of it. There still is the universities mentioned that we need to talk about, whom have been fleecing internationals for years now. Or our employers who have gotten real used to having access to basically almost slave labor by comparison the wages and employees they would have to normally deal with. \n\nAnd again, none of this is being said to blame those who come here looking for a better life. If anything, I want to apologize for the BS you found here as well, that was well hidden by the BS masters who got you to come here. \n\nBut just like how oxygen feeds a fire without necessarily meaning to... well... let's just say that a downturn in applications is a really good thing for us right now. \n\nCome if you want, but don't come unprepared. We let in too many international students. That really did not have the money to live in Canada. On the news the other day. It was said 25 international students lived in a basement in Brampton. \n\nCanada needs to let people who can afford to be in Canada. Stop giving away PR cards.

Regular Canadians don’t even want to live here anymore. The finance situation is absolutely broken. It’s mathematically impossible for people to live here let alone immigrate her. \n\nImmigration is a huge part of this country but when you dump 500,000+ more people every year AND THERES LITERALLY NO HOUSING AVAILABLE. We need to cap on immigration until we see a bigger flux of real estate. \n\nThat also means we need to cap on foreign buyers buying out all the new buildings we make. They need to be for Canadians ONLY

I think it is the quality of the immigrants that come to Canada that needs to be analysed. If too many low skilled or people with unemployable skills are granted visas, then any country, let alone Canada, would seem like a tough country to settle and earn. Canadian govt seems to be lenient in allowing too many unemployable ppl to get into the country. This has resulted in an imbalance. It just needs a strong govt which Canada lacks at this point in time. 90% of the problems can be solved within 4 to 5 years if govt stops or regulates visas.

I was just forced by my husband to come here in 2010. I never plan to live abroad but I went for the sake of the kids and dont want regret. My husband is mentally ill even before we got married(family took advantage of me when they saw I was an independent widow that time). Upon arriving here, nothing was prepared,no beds no nothing just the social housing and he was already orienting me to get food from food bank and simply convinced me to follow here for the child benefits,free education and healthcare. Let me just mention, the family of my husband is claiming they were rich and prominent in the Philippines. Fast forward....14 years after, he didnt get a house for us....I just ran after him for child support....he didnt finish the divorce process that I ask him to do upon arrival....now, that its time for him to pay tution fee for college, he is mad! He is so desperate that he brainwashed one of his sons to blame me and make me feel like the whole thing is my fault! My son almost killed me last time bec his dad getting sympathy and ranting that he has no money. This is the biggest regret of my life......I believe if my sons are educated and grew up in the Philippines, they are more happy and was able to tap all their talents and intelligence. I am done here! And for people telling me that the money we earn here we dont get in the Philippines....sorry, my peace of mind and dignity has no price tag. I am not materialistic too. Respect to humanity is all we need!

These people are lying. They go after short skirted women and gay people. It isn't just alcohol, they are forcing their fanatical religion upon everybody else. If they want sharia then let them go back to the hell holes they ran from. The people they harassed were doing nothing illegal. How dare they tell us what to do in our own country when WE took THEM in. Europe need to export these nutjobs back to the awful countries that spawned them. No wonder that so many Westerners resent Muslims.

let's be honest as an international student I am in awe of how some internationals can study in Canada when they can't even speak English properly .. when I came here I needed to pass IELTS and get a band 7 for everything all my documents and transcripts were directly sent from the official email of my institution. I need to pass an exam before enrolling for my course, I have criminal, abuse registry, and child registry checks in my country and even when I am in Canada. Did all the immunizations needed and abide by their law i need to submit all these documents every 6 months access. to the policy of the program I am doing. And as an international remember you are coming to Canada they have their own culture so you need to respect and adjust to it, not Canada adjusting to you... even though Canada is diverse they have its own rules so yes adapt to the place where you are. And to them blaming the agency you the people who are using them knew exactly what they were getting into now you are complaining I did all my applications through DIY as IRCC is a direct applicant why need agents for application. Ircc should also question why a person needs an agent to process their applications. If they can't understand basic instruction and basic legal matters would you think those students will be able to survive the education system here in Canada? let's be real a lot of students are taking short-term courses, short like 8 months, and yes to get PR (I wouldn't lie cause that would be hypocrisy all international students have that aim, and if you say no just stay in your country). Now this a lesson to IRCC that they really need to make a thorough background before offering a PR permit ..and please when you are in public speak English respect the people around you... and don't speak too loud in your language when you are in working places.. uphold professionalism again remember you are in Canada a french English speaking country. And don't start with me about being racist.... cause it is plainly common sense.

As much as he is right about the fact that the world needs to do more to stop the killings and getting the necessary aid in, i cant help but think that we will never know whether the palestinians actually want to stay in that land or to escape the fighting until the borders are open. We cant speak for everyone and surely not all palestinians are of the same opinion. Open the crossing and let those who want to go away from the warzone go and those who want to remain will stay.
